Aug 29, 2020La verdad, muy buenas intenciones de su parte, pero es el mismo cliché pop básico
-

Aug 28, 2020Well once again we get another generic album from Perry as if it’s not the same album we’ve all heard for the past 10 years. We’re bored. The pop music is tuned to Katy pop lane that she’s afraid to step out of. Hopefully the smile era will bring more fun and excitement because the album isn’t doing it.

Aug 28, 2020Regular cute pop. Couple of good music, little enjoyable, less danceable, but still a good work. Not much as a reference.
-
Aug 28, 2020Katy a pesar de sus hermosas melodías y su gran mejoría a nivel de voz que nos ha entrega en su nuevo trabajo Smile, pierde su concepto al agregar temas que ya se fueron publicados un año antes...

Aug 28, 2020think the music critics are so biased to katy. Why? This album is her best. Also, pitchfork told us that why now? Well the answer is its because we're in a pandemic and the songs fits nowadays. Also critics saying that it is uninspired. Maybe they don't know katy had gone through in the last 3 years

Aug 28, 2020I love the album, but i really miss the old katy with a bop song. Hope she trully find herself. Still love u katy.
-
Aug 28, 2020I expected something more from Katy. Disappointed. I liked Daises though. Hope next one will be Better

Aug 29, 2020A fun album a return to form of Teenage Dream in terms of sound with nice and polished production of Witness. The album is quite digestible for a normal listener who isn’t too familiar with Katy’s music.
-

Aug 29, 2020Never Really Over and Harleys in Hawaii are the only songs that are still listenable for me, she is still experimenting but doesn’t change the fact that the album itself is trash. Although it might be slightly better than witness, this deserves a 0 because it is too generic pop music like 6 years ago. It’s not 2010,pc but 2020

Sep 8, 2020Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

Sep 4, 2020While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

Aug 31, 2020Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
