    Smile lacks an engaging production, something that screams passion, same with Perry’s writing, instead of hovering on the surface of the emotion she tries to provoke, she could dig deep and straightup go literal with the happiness, hope, and resilience she wants to project.

    Great production, great songs, the album has an amazing sound to it, every song feels fresh to listen to. The best songs on the album easily are Tucked & Cry About It Later.

    This album is a jewel, one of the few jewels that you can find in this last decade of music, each song has a life of its own and makes you fall in love with the story that sadly some people (including myself) have gone through but at the end of the road we can always find our own smile and laugh with a couple of champagne glasses so what cry about it later tonight I'm havin fun.

"One of the Boys" veio discreto, mas chamou a atenção da rainha do pop, Madonna com a música "Ur So Gay". O grande bum do público foi com o aclamado "Teenage Dream" simplesmente memorável com seu mundo doce e lindos sonhos adolescentes. "Prism" é um álbum mais maduro com singles como "Roar", "Unconditionally", "Birthday" e "Dark Horse".. sempre com a videografia impecável. Witness injustiçado pela crítica especializada e grande parte dos fãs, afinal, Katy Perry flertou com a atual situação política do seu país e mostrou q não apenas um rostinho bonito com suas músicas dançantes e merece muito reconhecimento mas vocês não estão prontos para essa conversa. E finalmente, o tão aguardado "Smile" é perfeito com cada faixa em seu devido lugar e particularmente eu não mudaria absolutamente nada.     This is one of the best Katy’s albums, so emotional, she really throw back her SMILE, she’s really Resilient. The album in my opinion its divided in 4 parts. The Healing part starts with Never Really Over and the next two songs that have the same feeling. The Resilience part that stars with Daisies and the next two songs that really make you feel good and empowered. The Fun part that starsThis is one of the best Katy’s albums, so emotional, she really throw back her SMILE, she’s really Resilient. The album in my opinion its divided in 4 parts.     Más de lo mismo, Katy sigue haciendo música inmaduro, este álbum al igual que todos sus álbumes deberían ser considerados infantiles, debería arriesgarse y hacer cosas nuevas además de que su imagen ya está muy gastada lo que hace que sea su álbum el más fracasado que tiene incluso aún después de su anterior álbum

    Very coherent and very well produced album. Katy returned to pop from her comfort zone with some more experimental highlights with very dance music, bordering on electronic music.

    Smile is the perfect album to listen to when you have unpleasant moments. It has great sounds like the guitar solo on Cry About It Later, or the perfect sound for a soundtrack with It's Not The End Of The World. Smile came at the perfect time and year to rejoice while in lockdown.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
