    It’s safe to say that for some reason, critics find always a way to discredit the work of a female passionate and honest and dedicated woman who spent her life trying to bring joy, sass and power though her songs. And side note that fact is often criticised stating it’s starting to get old to sing about self empowerment but last time I checked, sex is still selling in songs. Let’s clarify one point the same reviewers who hate her can’t review her album (it’s common sense). Plus their opinions don’t matter because teenage dream did not get high scores in the past but today they’re using it as a reference ? Let me laugh.     I love how Katy showed the world that depression can be just a phase and you can always get back your Smile. The album gives me such a positive vibe - even though some lyrics are not that positive. The fact that she made this album with no featured artists, proves to me that Katy Perry is a name that you must put some respect on. She’s complete and I think “Smile” shows it.

    Magnífico y con ritmos pegaditos, el álbum es por sí solo uno de los mejores que he escuchado en éste año, muchas canciones son verdaderamente opciones para ser singles

    For sure the best record by Katy Perry! Vocals are great, instrumental are incredible. ‘Not the End of The World’, ‘Champagne Problems’,‘Tucked’ and ‘Harleys in Hawaii’ are probably the best songs by Katy in history.

    A good album, it tells a story, it makes you wish more and more, and it gives it to you, the POP PERFECTION of an album, all this made by Katy Perry, his best album to the date without any question.

    An album than not only offers a bunch of catchy pop/disco tunes, but also tells the journey that Katy Perry herself made for getting out of clinical depression and "finding her Smile" again. A work that needs to be respected in any way

    This album is totally amazing, i cannot even explain it. After being a katycat for around 7 years i can tell you that this album shows the real Katy Perry 100% and it me so happy to know that this is basically the era of happiness and smiles not only for Katy but probably because of this album to many fans. Btw not the end of the world

    De lo mejor que ha sacado en su carrera, un soplo de aire fresco a nuevos estilos y facetas en su repertorio. Grandes temas como Cry About It Later o Champagne Problems, con una producción exquisita e interesante.
    Sin duda es un disco para disfrutar y sonreír.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
