    Es un álbum donde vemos como Katy Perry nos sigue demostrando que nada está perdido, que las cosas positivas llegan que después de lo malo viene lo bueno. Y que si estás mal sigas adelante enérgicamente. Digno album de este año. Y sobretodo en pandemia.

    I love the album so much! My fav song on the album is Harley's In Hawaii! And I love how Smile relates to Taylor's Lover which they both transcended from being in a storm to fighting their way dancing through it and eventually passes through it and fights light and happiness!

More of the track was very catchy, abundant in positive message and the most important.

    Katy Perry is back with a cohesive album in which we see her journey through finding her SMILE again. Surprisingly, there are no ballads but it's understandable, because of the record's name. This new Katy Perry chapter is one of her best albums, along with 2010 Teenage Dream.

Divided into four different sections which all feature very different and unique sounding songs the album opens up with her 2019 single Never Really Over which is followed by the incredibly catchy Cry About It Later which is about overcoming a breakup by hooking up with someone else while. Teary Eyes continues the theme of heartbreak and tells you to keep on dancing even when you’re sad. The lead single Daisies is this album's empowerment anthem and is followed by Resilient which features some of Perry's best vocals. Not the End of the World is a trap influenced song and tells you to focus on the positives even if the world seems like it's ending. The album's title track Smile is about Perry finding her smile again after her depression following the hate she got after her 2017 album Witness. Champagne Problems is about getting through the hardest times in a relationship to end up finding one's true love. The disco-influenced Tucked is about imagining a relationship with a past lover even though knowing it was a mistake. Harleys in Hawaii was also released during 2019 and is a tropical love song about Perry and Bloom's time together in Hawaii. If you only had one day left to live is the question inspiring the song Only Love in which Perry sings about focusing on the love in the world and forgetting the hate. On the last track of the album Perry answer the question What Makes a Woman in a song that is dedicated to her first child Daisy Dove Bloom.
    The album is definitely Perry's most cohesive one and I can't believe critics are calling it not experimental enough even though they trashed Witness for being too experimental and wanted her to return to her pop-roots and now that she does, they're trashing her yet again. Most of the reviews also compare her to other female singers such as Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga which surprisingly isn't done when talking about them.    … Expand

    Never Really Over and Harleys in Hawaii are the only songs that are still listenable for me, she is still experimenting but doesn’t change the fact that the album itself is trash. Although it might be slightly better than witness, this deserves a 0 because it is too generic pop music like 6 years ago. It’s not 2010,pc but 2020

    Apesar de não ter faixas muito diferentes do que já foi feito por Katy, Smile é bem coeso e as músicas têm boa produção. Harleys in Hawai deveria ter recebido mais atenção do público.     An excellent album dealing with her post witness era. In Smile, each song is special, from ballads to synth-pop to 80’s disco song, Katy Perry delivers us BOPS. Without no support from her team, or even her « best artist friends » Katy is « Flipping off the flop, now I just enjoy my ride ».

    Anyway, that’s definitely the album we (Katycats) were all asking for. 20/20

    Smile is such a great album and I like that there are no features on it, only Katys excellence.
    I think it’s a good timing to release an album with that meaning, an album full of hope in such a dark time, she really brought my smile back with that album.
    I’m thankful and I’m really proud of her that she’s back with new music and that she has given birth to her daughter in the same week.

    This album is my 2nd fav album by katy so far, different sound from the other album which is very fit with her voice ,catchy and the production is everything , i wish it has more song on her album cuz less is never enough, keep it up queen!!

    This album brought happiness to me with the fact that we're still in this pandemic. The album is a roller coaster of bops, u can't deny that. This is her best album so far with the last 4 albums she released. This is definitely one of the best albums so far, if not, the best so far.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
