Perry muestra madurez en sus letras y a pesar de que la producción del mismo recuerda mucho a Teenage Dream o Prism en el encontramos canciones con un aire fresco y renovado.
    Professional critic sucks, no han hecho más que enfocarse en la comparación con otros discos que no tienen nada que ver.

    Nada innovador, solo 2 o 3 canciones rescatables, el resto del disco esta de la never worn moj0n, lo unico bueno del disco es cuando lo quitas y pones folkdiosa de Taycristo.     This is actually a very good New-synth-pop. Katy Parry is still a important reference to this genre. The top points of this album (besides the singles) are cry about it later and champagne problems. But Not the End of the World is another level of greatness

I don’t know what happened to the expert critics when they were listening to Smile, because it reached a very low note and like I said before THE ALBUM IS AMAZING.     A full range of sounds from Never Really Over to more serious sounding Not the End of the World to a fantastic ending to the record with Only Love and What Makes A Woman.
    My favourite Tracks are Resistant, Cry About It Later and Never Really Over.

    This is one of Katy's best works, on the record “Smile” she really turned all pain, tears and depression into something strong and that brings our smile back, the message of resilience that she delivers is perfect, Katy is an enlightened person, and really flourished. Highlights for the tracks: "Cry About it Later", "Teary Eyes", "Resilient", "Only Love" and "Daisies".

    Unfortunately not her best work. It's an album full of things we have already heard through her career. Considering a large amount of promo, I would have expected an album as catchy as "Teenage Dream" which "Smile" is not at all.
    Best tracks: "Daisies" ( the only song I'd listen to a second time).

    Katy's SMILE is the most perfectly pop balanced album I've heard in a while. Her range both vocally and lyrically has been ably depicted in Smile. Tracks like Never Really Over, Harleys in Hawaii, Teary Eyes, Not the end of the world, Tucked and Champagne problems are the best in my opinion. If you are planning to listen I suggest you do it immediately

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
