I mean, WHY NOT NOW? That’s the question I ask to them, like, every single human being on earth had plans for this year and they got cancelled/postponed, literally I think every single human on earth has felt like sh*t during these times and honestly (in my case) music is something that has been making me hold on, it’s given me something to hold on, literally all of the records released this year so far have been very important to me til this day and I think they always will exactly because I heard them for the first time in THESE TIMES, they gave me hope, happiness, joy, sadness, coziness, they lifted me up a HUNDRED TIMES when I was losing almost everything in me to keep fighting, they gave me a reason to SMILE. They made me dance, and though it was in my bedroom, they did. All f*cking records have done that to me, Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa, Chromatica by Lady Gaga, folklore by Taylor Swift and now SMILE by Katy Perry. Not to mention the non-album (yet) songs that Miley, Cardi, Nicki, Doja, Selena, Ariana and all of them have given to us. Now, focusing on Smile, you have my word that this record will make you; (1) Smile (like it’s title); (2) Dance and (3) Feel better that you were feeling 1 minute before. Every single song gives you a different feeling, new motivation, fun, emotions, it’s honestly amazing. You will NOT be disappointed, I assure you that. You who complain so much about the lack of POP support this woman. There's maybe one or two that you don't like that much (or aren't so great as the others) but Smile is perfect for me. Is right what we needed from the pop industry, especially in those pandemic times. The only sad thing is that 'High on your supply' is exclusive for Target and the JapaneseThis album for me is amazing. Is perfect. There isn't a song that you can say "this one is bad". There's maybe one or two that you don't like that much (or aren't so great as the others) but Smile is perfect for me. Is right what we needed from the pop industry, especially in those pandemic times. The only sad thing is that 'High on your supply' is exclusive for Target and the Japanese version.     She has finally got her smile back! This album is such a bop, every song is just perfect and amazing. It’s an album that has no skips in between songs. Every lyric in all the songs are just beautiful. Lastly “SMILE” the album did give me the BIGGEST smile :))

    The queen of pure pop is back and better than ever, this is Katy Perry at her best. Each track delivers an euphoric uplifting get out of your seat urgency but it’s filled with deeper undertone lyrics which is personally my favourite style of music. Smile is 10/10.

    Katy dijo "Ojalá sólo conmigo baste", y sí, estoy realmente satisfecho, ya que no tiene colaboraciones, pero igual me dejó super obsesionado con cada una de las canciones.
    Mis favoritas son Cry About It Later, Tucked, Only Love y Not The End Of The World.
    Tienen que escucharla!

    Overall I really like the album. It shares similar characteristics with her previous albums Prism and Witness. The Album is truly inspirational.. My favourite tracks were What Makes a Woman, Tucked and Only Love. Katy definitely didn't let us down. The album loses minor points due to it not being very cohesive, and also 1 or 2 forgettable songs.

    Finally, Miss Perry has outdone herself with this album full of BOPS that can easily make you dance until you break your legs or cry your heart to track number 11 Only Love. This is definitely Katy's best album and is undoubtedly Album Of The Year. The World needs an album like this during this tiring times to get through it with a BIG AND BRIGHT SMILE.

    Katy Perry has yet again proved that she cannot write a bad song! This album is her big return from the Witness hate train and i think she did it like no other. SMILE is so personal and deep lyrically but sonically it calls for a dance party. I think everyone should give this album good few listens before they judge! It's incredible.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
