    Dancing to the Smile
    Better than Prism, I would give an easy 8/10 note, during the whole album only 2 songs don't fit much, with everything like other tracks it has a very well structured passage, it is cohesive and brings a much more mature and reflective Katy, she tries to show that she has gone through ruined moments and that now she can breathe because she has done her best.
    At the    Dancing to the Smile
    Better than Prism, I would give an easy 8/10 note, during the whole album only 2 songs don't fit much, with everything like other tracks it has a very well structured passage, it is cohesive and brings a much more mature and reflective Katy, she tries to show that she has gone through ruined moments and that now she can breathe because she has done her best.
    At the present moment it is all that we need to hear and that we are living. The album brings the 80's and 90's sounds like on the track Cry About Later and Champgne Problems (the guitar resembles the band Pink Floyd), Tucked (remembers a Europop, Kyle Minougue style), but I would say the pop's highlight is to rescue all this "old" influence in a subtle way, that is, it is an album almost on the same level as the teen dream, as songs will not grow old as they are nostalgic and timeless. It builds something solid and beautiful with sonoridases of not so relevant songs from Teenage Dream and One Of the Boys, leaving only to be desired in the Smile track that could easily be replaced by the bonus track High On Your Supply and Not the end of the world that runs away a little bit of the Album's sound context.

    I’m honestly very impressed. She delivered great pop songs with good lyrics and staying true to herself at the same time she was staying true to her own sound, wich, my opinion, she made it evolve. My favorite songs on the album are Cry About It Later, Not the End of the World and Never Really Over.

    Unexpectedly great. Her best album! Cry About it Later, Teary Eyes, Champagne Problems, Tucked and Not the End of the World could all be amazing singles. The album is a more cohesive and mature version of Teenage Dream, and it means a lot for a pop album.

    "Smile" It has that typical vibe that Perry albums contain, it makes you smile with each song, without a doubt an album that surpasses its predecessor in all aspects, it is as if each song was a "bop"

    This pop masterpiece stays true to its name, it really makes you SMILE! Listening to this album I felt so many emotions, with every lyric, every line and every song Katy digs deeper into her soul and exposes her feelings and emotions.
    From surviving serious depression twice in career, it seems she’s finally found inner peace and I’m so grateful she has shared this experience with us.

    It's a incredible album it feels so fresh, honest, transparent, all the songs are amazing and each one tells you something in a cohesive way. It's all a journey at the beginning you could feel sad but as you progress you can understand the purpose of the album at the end I'm sure that you gonna be happy.

These lyrics may come from Perry's personal battles with the underperformance of her last album Witness (Which in my opinion is a great and misunderstood album). not only that but Perry also managed to deliver party anthems to celebrate those battles, with Smile, the title track, Champagne Problems and Tucked which all have 80s disco influence that might be perfect in the rise of those sound and genre. After all of the fun, here comes the love story. She started with the romantic Harleys In Hawaii that depicts her love story with beau Orlando Bloom followed with Only Love, a great song with a great message, telling people to leave all the hate and focus with taking the love only. She later finished the album strong with What Makes A Woman, a strong ballad for women and motherhood that beautifies the struggle of what does make to understand a woman. overall this album is a solid one and probably one of her greatest.     Lyrically beautiful, the songs are so positive and upbeat. I feel very happy and instantly in a good mood while hearing the songs. It is Katy's best album, after Teenage Dream. Teary Eyes & Not the End of the World are single worthy with great production. This album is a masterpiece that deserves good critics. Katy has worked very hard on this album. Im happy for her :)

    This album saved my life, I don't care if the critics aren't being the best, but this album is impeccable, it's beautiful how Katy uses her platform to help and bring a smile to people, I'm happy that she's an artist that doesn't care about criticism and charts, so it's one of the best, the album is genuine!

    This is Katy’s best album. She knows how to make a pop record and this is pop perfection from start to finish. Standouts to me on first couple listens are Cry About It Later, Not The End of the World, Teary Eyes and Tucked... but honestly every song is amazing!!

    Katy Perry gives new sounds and shows that she is on her own lane. SMILE is a ride, a story line that starts with getting over someone or something, getting back your smile, finding love and finding YOURSELF. The sound is fresh and different, dance pop for days. Every song is there for a reason, there's no skips.

    One of best albums yet. This albums is very relatable to many and specially in a pandemic happening right noa in the world. With upbeat production and clever lyrics that instantly hook.

    It's really unfair that everyone's berating Katy Perry's new album without any substantial criticism to justify their opinion. It's a fun, catchy and and sleek set of tunes that speak about her journey towards positivity and love despite her personal struggles and the unfair hatred she gets from the public.

    Honestly, as a non katy perry fan, I expected a bad album but it really got SURPRISED. I’d say that Smile is the best album of the year and certainly her best album. The tracks got their own story, melodies, message. It’s like a book with many stories in. The vocals are incredible, the instrumentals as well... In my opinion, NTEOTW and Cry About it Later should be singles.

    It's an album that starts out big, the tracks Never Really Over, Cry About It Later e Teary Eyes were an energizing triology! It is a mature job and the best of Perry's career.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
