    Definitely a different sound for Selena Gomez, it sounds nothing like her previous sounds. Every song will get stuck in your head, it will sound great for events! I love how each track is unique and there is something in it for everyone’s vibes or taste!

    the album is very good, in my opinion the most pop of her so far but also where she risked the most, we realize the clear influences of her project of loose songs, there are tracks that stand out from the others but the album does not lose cohesion

    This album is trash. Revival was so good and she decided to whisper in every song and not music just whispers with the same beat for 40 minutes. Not even streaming worthy glad I listened to the leak before it got released

    Very cohesive album. I'm glad she took her time for this album. Literally all songs sound fresh and doesn't sound like anything on the charts now. I'm happy that she's able to find her sound.

    I have yet to hear a pop album as cohesive and beautiful as this one. Each song leads perfectly into the next and each message is so strong and beautiful. Selena has always done a good job at conveying emotions through her songs, but never like this.

    Very mature and enjoyable. This is Selena’s best album yet, in my opinion. Most songs sound consistent with the album, and the lyric writing is incredible. She is really making herself vulnerable with this one.

    Rare is a beautiful story. The ups and downs a person go through when she fall in and out of love. It's a journey of learning, healing and knowing you can't hold hands with darkness and obviously brings a message that all that teaches you to love yourself over anything or anyone. Amazing album.     O álbum é de extrema coesão, é bem estruturado e percebe-se vulnerabilidade por tratar de questões tão pessoais e mesmo assim mostrar-se forte e feliz passando por todas essas situações, a voz calma de Gomez transmite estar confortável pelo momento que está passando, vejo amadurecimento se comparado ao Revival, suas letras estão esclarecedoras e cativantes

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
