    Not my favorite album from her, but such an amazing record. She truly showed she still has her rnb roots, she’ll never put out a body of work that doesn’t mean the world to her.

    This album is a different to all of her previous, and it is not a bad thing. Instead, this album shows how Ariana can reinvent herself and still deliver high quality music.

    I always appreciate an album that doesn’t seem like it’s trying too hard. To me, Positions is a great example of simplicity done right. The tracks are relaxing, some are filled with beautiful strings, and the melodies keep me hooked. My favorite part however are the lyrics! They’re all straight to the point and really feel authentic to her. This album was clearly put together with a lot ofI always appreciate an album that doesn’t seem like it’s trying too hard.     on this album, ariana drops pop and dives right into r&b, with rap/r&b features, slow tempo, quick tempo, jazzy, bluesy songs, this is ariana’s most mature and well produced album. vocal layering (and the vocals in general) are indescribable, and the overall production is immaculate. definitely would recommend (and i already did!)

Nos dan una hermosa letra acompañado la de hermosas melodías. Los Whistle voice de Nasty son impresionantes. Es un álbum sencillamente perfecto.

    Ariana Grande embodies everything that is R&B. All her previous albums were just teasers of what kind of artists she would become, songs like Imagine, showcase just the raw emotion needed to make R&B, to songs like Borderline, which shows how easy she can switch between pop and R&B. Miss Ariana Grande is just the kind of artist her peers need to study.

El álbum maneja una lírica madura, graciosa y liviana de entender. Un álbum de superación amorosa, de nuevas oportunidades, y en busca del amor propio. Sin duda una nueva aventura para la solista.

    Positions is Grande’s third album in as many years amounts to the dirtiest, sexiest, raunchiest collection of tunes Grande’s ever put out in one go (which is saying something), with the content of the    It’s getting to the point now where a year doesn’t feel complete without a new Ariana Grande album, so anything is a blessing – but even in our wildest dreams, we couldn’t have expected this

    Positions is Grande’s third album in as many years amounts to the dirtiest, sexiest, raunchiest collection of tunes Grande’s ever put out in one go (which is saying something), with the content of the lyrics making more headlines around the world than the actual songs. But what the clickbait articles don’t tell you is that these sexually liberated lyrics also hint at Grande’s sense of completion within herself – of all the people on Earth, Grande’s definitely earned the right to have a little fun.

    There’s some truly magical music on this set. Firstly, “off the table”, featuring The Weeknd, evokes prime Mariah in its breathless romance, its hot and heavy sensuality. Abel is in fine voice, too – sounding comfortable and supple, relaxed and controlled in his delivery. Another feature track works out great too – “safety net” makes the most of Ty Dolla $ign’s soothing bleat, using it to complement Ari’s most assured, emotionally sincere vocal on the album.

    “nasty” has Grande at her sexiest, promising to give it like he’s never had it, and wrapping these promises around an R Kelly grind, sounding all “remix to Ignition / hot and fresh out the kitchen”. This same sultriness reappears on “pov”, where Grande’s vocal fireworks are given the widest space to burn, and the hook (“I’d love to see me from your point of you”) is dynamite.

    Other highlights – including the Doja Cat feature “motive”, and the stunning “Love Language” – switch up the tempo to something a little quicker, in the process giving the album at least a couple of tracks that are likely to find their way onto contemporary radio.

    The best track of the bunch, other than “nasty” and “off the table”, is probably “34+35” (no prizes for working that one out), which ends up becoming the mission statement for the whole album. It’s about shagging, but the amount of puns, double entendres and jokes littered throughout is staggering. Lyrically, she’s on fire here: “I been drinking coffee / And I been eating healthy / You know I keep it squeaky” is a particular favourite.

    Three albums in three years, four albums in five, and each of them in a minor masterpiece. While thank u, next is probably her best work – and it will probably remain that way forever – Positions is Grande’s most carefree, most playful, most mature work to date.     Her best album yet, with experimental sounds, R&B & blues, jazz and of course some pop trap songs. Deserves at least a score of 85 as it truly is her best piece of work. Her lyrics incredible too

    Songwriting is absolutely lazy. Production is above average. Many songs in the album have same meaning -- "will you have sex with me?". Nothing special and mediocre at best.

    Ariana has achieved an incredible and heartfelt album. From the attitude with Shut Up to the haunting Off The Table and loving POV, this hits every base. Her sound, production and lyrics have glowed up perfectly and you can really see this is the sound she has always wanted to share with the world. Thank you Ariana, i can’t wait to see what’s next.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
