Oct 30, 2020This is one of her best albums. She is moving away from pop and trying r&b and she slayed on these tracks. I suggest you "critics" re-listen to this masterpiece and try again please. This is her true self and this is one of her best work. I love this mature sound and I hope she keeps it in the future.

Oct 30, 2020I get the intention of going a more flowy and chill way with her music, I just don’t think she’s there yet. This is not r&b, it’s pop. It sometimes got too simple and repetitive. I think she’s going the right way. The lyrics are REALLY bad

Oct 30, 2020Embora seja um trabalho bem produzido, a maioria das faixas soam semelhantes na sonoridade. Seus vocais estão bastante agradáveis, como sempre. Ariana é incrível, mas sinto que "Positions" não conseguiu demostrar o quão talentosa ela é como artista.

Oct 30, 2020Here Ariana’s dreamy vocals intertwine perfectly with the string-influenced instrumentals. The songs perpetuate the feeling of being in love and I get emotional just listening to them. Though a few of these songs are not her greatest feats of lyricism, the good greatly outweighs the bad, and the lyrics that aren’t as complex are often wonderfully playful and affectionate.

Oct 30, 2020Dangerous Woman will forever be her best album, and while I know it isn't necessarily fair to compare, there was something so new and exciting about DW that positions just doesn't have. positions is predictable, many of the songs sound similar and very few stand out. the lyrics are downright cringe-worthy at times. overall, very disappointed.
