But, more importantly, she show us her insecurities, including how she has been dealing with her mother having cancer.     It’s an album so mature and the lyrics are so smart. And I’m really in love with this musical and personal growth of Taylor, really proud, this it’s absolutely a love album, there’s no more pain in Taylor’s heart for breakups or stuff like that, it’s just her with her lover and all the bad things that happened in the last years are just in the past. You all need to listen this, seriously.It’s an album so mature and the lyrics are so smart. From the biggest highlight “Cruel Summer” to the most emotional titled track “Lover”, literally she saved the pop music nowadays by this masterpiece. Although here comes some unnecessary tracks like “Death By Thousand Cuts” and “London Boy”, not only make the chill listening experience stop when theTaylor proved once again that she really know what’s the perfect melody for pop music. From the biggest highlight “Cruel Summer” to the most emotional titled track “Lover”, literally she saved the pop music nowadays by this masterpiece. Although here comes some unnecessary tracks like “Death By Thousand Cuts” and “London Boy”, not only make the chill listening experience stop when the music play, but also make the length of the album too long. Thanks god “Soon You’ll Get Better” and “False God” come right up save the tiredness. And “Daylight” is the best ending track ever.

    Easily the best release of this year. She uses her beautifully detailed song-writing and metaphors to tell a really complex story throughout the whole project, and the use of musicality and production is jaw-dropping and grabs your attention immediately. I enjoyed ever minute of this record. Album of the year for sure!

It's amazing how Taylor Swift has been in the scene for more than a decade and yet she still manages to deliver something new, but still so great, never half-assed, every single time.     At first listening to the whole album, Lover, it confused me a little. Some of the songs didn’t sound like they belonged together, but then after listening to it again and again, I started to realize why the album sounded the way it did. Taylor wrote this album about Love - love is a very complex emotion - therefore her album reflects that. This album is a masterpiece of brilliance.

    It's the best one of hers. It's a new sound, and not like every other album on the market. All kinds of tempos and feelings are seen in this album, and i can honestly say it's one of my favorite albums ever. Lyrics are amazing as Taylor is specialist in these, but production is at its best too. Congrats to both her and Jack Antonoff.

Death By A Thousand Cuts is one of my all time favorite Taylor Swift songs now, and also has my favorite bridge in the entire album “my heart my hips my body my love...”.     The mixture of genres in every songs are blended so well. Every song will take you to another place and another time. That's how Ms. Swift write every song she did as per usual. Ugh her mind!

    Honestly this is one of the best albums released this decade. Perfect lyricism and production. This album really brings out the “old Taylor” it gives me RED vibes but it’s got reputations production which works perfectly with the vibe of the album, 10/10 definitely

    I really love that Lover is bringing out different emotions in different people and we’re all falling in love with different tracks. I think we tend to immediately gravitate towards the poppier, upbeat tracks on the album & then in a few months when everything digests, everyone will universally agree that underrated songs like False God & Daylight are fantastic tracks. This pop album is totally different from 1989 and reputation, showing how versatile and creative she can be and also how amazing she is as a songwriter — Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince really surprised me when I learned that this song is a hugeThis album just confirms that Taylor Swift is a true artist. Cruel Summer is a pop perfection, even better than Blank Space. I think this song should have been the lead single. It's Nice To Have A Friend and London Boy were the two tracks that surprised me the most — in a good way. When I read the tracklist I didn't expect much from this tracks, but i loved them both so much. It's Nice To Have A Friend is different from everything she has ever made, i really loved the background vocals, the music has a really good vibe because of it, her voice is so calm and it matches the lyrics in a perfect way. I was expecting a Gorgeous 2.0 from London Boy, but when I listened to it I got addicted to the melody right away. It is a really upbeat song, the lyrics are so fun and it is catchy in a good way, since the music has a good production and good vocals. My least favorites were Paper Rings and Death By A Thousand Cuts, although they are still very good! When I listen to them I do like, but I just don't think they look so interesting in a album that has Miss Americana, Cruel Summer and Cornelia Street — It says a lot about Lover when I say my least favorite songs are still high quality!
    The only mistake Taylor Swift made about this album was the decision to have ME! as a lead single and You Need To Calm Down as a single. They don't define Lover at all, especially ME! In conclusion, Lover is one of the best she has ever made. Her vocals are perfect, the productions is amazing and the lyrics are very good. It is exactly what we needed for her since reputation.    … Expand

    I honestly believe this is her best album sonically since red. It’s quite unbelievable that this album managed to top red as I have been obsessed with red since it came out, therefore, I thoroughly recommend this album

    Simply genius lyrics. This album of 18 tracks covers the gamut of love and emotions plus includes fascinating politically charged songs and a heartbreaking song about her mother's battle with cancer.

    I've been a swiftie from the start and still ms Swift never ceases to surprise me with her lyrical geniusness. This whole album is a BOP. There are literally no skip songs and i can't pick a favourite - it changes every day! I have danced to paper rings, cried to soon you'll get better and swayed to false god. And obviously went crazy over the rest. Thanks T forever.
