FN is one of the best pop records I've ever heard. Literally this album has 0 skips. The title really gives us the perfect explanation of what we can expect from the songs: pop-dance sounds that make us remember the 80's but also make us feel like we're dancing into the future. A cool and fun album.

Future Nostalgia is totally cohesive and very well worked, one song complete and the other as a symphonic orgy. A Fituristic Pop mixed with Old Pop, a wonderful musical dance to hear. Strong points are "Levitating", "Don't Start Now" and "Hallucinate". "Love Again" is reminiscent of Madonna in the year 2006, a very well done song.

Future Nostalgia is pop perfection, an energetic album whose production recalls past musical eras while still sounding as fresh and inventive as any present-day release. Dua Lipa has undergone the exact opposite of a sophomore slump, instead cementing herself as an industry tour de force.

Just as I had heard by many people, Dua Lipa’s second album, Future Nostalgia, was phenomenal. Her new sound with confident melodies, complicated basslines, and creativity with guitars and synths make a grand majority of Future Nostalgia’s songs a blast to listen to. Even the “extra” songs slapped onto the end with the “Moonlight Edition” can be really well done as well.

I really wish I could have included my entire song-by-song commentary, but that would push my review past the character limit.

Overall, I was extremely pleased by Dua Lipa’s most recent release. In pretty much every song, everything fit so well together despite each track being so loaded with complicated bass, synth, and guitar parts. I’m definitely a fan of this new sound from Dua Lipa and I really hope she releases another album very soon. Until then, I am more than happy listening to the many songs from Future Nostalgia that caught my attention. If you love pop and haven’t listened to all of Future Nostalgia, you absolutely should. Highlights: Future Nostalgia, Don’t Start Now, Cool, Physical, Levitating (both versions), Hallucinate, Love Again, Break My Heart, Boys Will Be Boys, Fever, We’re Good, Prisoner, If It Ain’t Me, and Un Día.

Nostalgia's the right term with throwback sounds to the 90s, but updated and without going over the top. A couple of songs are a little clunky in terms of lyrics. Electrifying, Magnetic, Frenetically Dope!!! Dua Lipa’s mature is undeniable. This Girl knows what can come and shoots it in your face. She takes you a nostalgic pop disco impulse but grabs you by the neck and takes you up to her spaceship and doesn’t release you but beyond the middle of the album with a sensation of: let me out, but at the same time keep going.

With an ending perhaps questioned but that comforts the experience.... it is incredible!!! maybe a new princess of pop and why not? a queen. Congratulations queen!!!

Dua Lipa’s sophomore album... an album I wasn’t expecting to be this good knocked my socks off. I think it’s a perfectly produced pop album. I do wish she would have given a little more on the vocals on two songs Hallucinate and Break My Heart. I’m also not a fan of the “rapping” (I suppose) on the opener, I would’ve rather she just sang that it. This album is a true revival of the good music and is so easy to love it. It's such an enjoyable album which you can listen for long hours and you won't get bored. It has some songs that make you dance and the final song of the album is by far The most precious way to close this beautiful album. It is something that the whole world needs to listen to.

It's good, it's cohesive, it's not long, but it does lack some deeper cuts/more emotional parts. Some of the songs like 'Physical' and 'Good in bed' kinda just repeat themselves, but that can be overlooked because of the albums flawless production.

This album was everything I expected from Dua Lipa. The three singles did full justice to the album and hyped me for more. All of the songs were dynamic, unique and full of innovative sounds. She experimented with something new and it turned out to be a huge success. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for this masterpiece.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. FN - A Bop really good song. i hate the lyric female alpha i don’t like the idea of an “alpha” it’s weird to me. Really good title track tho.9/10
DSN- a really good comeback this song is a really good fu to all the people that have hurt you in the past and i love the cowbell.10/10
Cool- love the instruments and the sound in general her vocals sound so good. this song is very sensual and i am loving seeing this side of her.love the range of her voice. 9/10
Physical- this song hypes me up when i’m in a bad mood and i love her accent and the whole production of the album is just so good. the harmonies in this song are so good.9/10
Levitating- loving the whole space theme and i love the really fast katy perry never really over vibes. this song makes me feel like it’s meant for ur crush and i’m really feeling that right now.i absolutely love the bridge it is so good. sugaboo is now my favorite word. 9/10
PP- can’t really understand what she is saying in the verse. the chorus is underwhelming . this is kinda giving me i forgot that you existed by taylor swift vibes. this song is also very sensual. the song progresses more as it goes on and gets better. i’m loving the whole cowbell theme of this album so far lol. this is definitely my least favorite song so far. 7/10
Hallucinate- this song is giving me victorious by p!atd vibes. this song is very ethereal. love the mi mi mi mind part. love the accidental on the word hallucinate. this song overall is very 2000s and it’s very good but not her best song on the album. i feel like it will grow on me as i listen to it. the harmonies in this song are so good. 8/10
LA- loving the strings already so quick this song has a different vibe than the rest of the songs. this song feels more sad but happy at the same time like i’ve never felt this emotion before . “but god damn you got me in love again “is such a good lyric. “my tears fell harder than the rain” that lyric is such a good one . the strings are just so beautiful. 9/10
BMH- this song is so much better than i thought it was gonna be . the music video just adds a whole other level of goodness . i love the whole 80s inspired for the album. “am i falling in love with the one that could break my heart” this was literally me a month ago .love the adlibs and background vocals. 9/10
GIB- this is giving me like 2012-2015 vibes . her voice has evolved so much since the last album. i don’t really like the bad bad bad bad bad part it just sounds a little off. i feel like i hear ariana grande vocals in there . i could be wrong but i swear that’s her. this song i feel like will definitely grow on me but i can’t tell if i like it. oop she really said they know how to f**k . 8/10
BWBB - i am loving the sound of this song. this song is definitely a whole different vibe than the rest of this album. it’s the odd one out but it is so good. i absolutely love her little voice breaks. i love her tone in this song. boy will be boys but girls will be women i love this message about how this time is so nasty but girls are so much more mature than guys these days. and that’s coming from a guy lmao. 9/10 Summary: overall this was a great album and a great introduction to Dua Lipa to me .she really did serve on this album. So far this is the album of the year for me and will probably win many many many awards . This album gets a 87% for me . it was really good, as i said the songs will probably grown on me some more as i continue to listen to them. I am rounding up so it will show a 9/10 on here.

Fantastic well put together comprehensive album. Every song in some way gets you dancing in your homes and living rooms as if your in the club with no skips! Only problem is that "Cool" seems a bit off-ish especially being between "Physical" and "Dont Start Now" two of her best songs.

I just feel like it's pop perfection.I don't feel this compelled to listen to Pop music often, but the production and the consistency, the revival of the disco and inability to keep the listener bored, the flawless vocals, while rebirthing a sonority that was long buried in the past makes it one of the possible AOTY for me.

On one hand, I must say that It is a really upbeat and catchy album, so from this point of view it isn't that dissimilar from her debut album. On the other hand I find it to be far more mature and refined, making it almost a little masterpiece. As a matter of fact, I would have preferred more tracks and a little bit of variety, other than that it's a solid record.

Il "Ritorno al futuro" di Dua Lipa. Parte 1
Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (39 min.), Pet sound (36 min.), Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (38:50), Are You Experienced (40 min.); con i suoi 37 min. e 17 sec.

Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
