    I just think Taylor could have done better is all. But I still don't think a bad album has its essence that only Taylor gives to his songs, personally it is not the best he has given us but not the worst

    I had high expectations for this album. I love slower and personal songs, but this album is very repetitive. She could have explored more with the melodies, specially in the chorus. I still appreciate her for taking risks and releasing an album like this, with great lyrics.

    Incredible album. It has a completely different sound that any of Taylor Swift's previous albums, yet it's such as good as them. It's the opposite of her previous album "Lover" which just shows how talented she is. The album is filled with songs with a nostalgic sound, great lyrics and amazing production. It's, by far, her best album.

    Just awesome. Her music grows with her and becomes more mature as she gets older, but it's still herself and that's amazing. It's honest, sentimental and warm. The perfect fit right now. She reinvented herself again, and she nailed it again.

    Someone that really keeps making albums, with great lyrics and avoiding to do what’s just popular. It’s an album not for all and not for charts, but certainly it leaves you something at the end. The duet with Bon Iver is astonishing and resembles that with Gary Lightbody she did in Red album.

    The sounds, Taylor’s voice, the storytelling, the lyrics, EVERYTHING. It’s not just listening to music, it’s a trip to another land, it’s a travel in time and space. Even after many many listens, I still get goosebumps when I listen to the most of the songs in it.
    And if you haven’t, do yourself a favour and listen to Folklore but don’t do it passively:    This album is simply a masterpiece.
    The sounds, Taylor’s voice, the storytelling, the lyrics, EVERYTHING. It’s not just listening to music, it’s a trip to another land, it’s a travel in time and space. Even after many many listens, I still get goosebumps when I listen to the most of the songs in it.
    And if you haven’t, do yourself a favour and listen to Folklore but don’t do it passively: listen with your heart and also go read up all the out coming of the brainstorming that’s been done to understand the lyrics and the stories behind. You won’t regret it.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
