    This album has grown on me a lot these past few days. I have been listening to it on repeat. I love how listening to folklore is like listening to taylor’s story. Taylor has also made 3 chapters to further explain how the story works. I enjoy this album very much!

    Cardigan: Song which is part of the love triangle Taylor which has mentioned. The song is written from the perspective of Betty. About how she was ditched by her lover James over a summer fling. The production of the sound is amazing
    The last great American Dynasty: A amazing song describing the life of Taylor's Rhode island house. Telling perfect story behind the house on that island. Rebeka Harnesses was the women who owned that huge house on that island and Taylor describes how huge parties were thrown at that place but sadly that she left that house and it on that Beach for 50 years until Taylor brought it and connects with how she used to do they same thing “ She had a marvelous time ruining everything” to “ I had a marvelous time ruining everything” Exile ft Bon Iver:
    This is one of her best Collaboration of all time. The track gives same vibes as her 2012 song The Last Time featuring Gary lightbody
    Bon Iver's vocals literally gives chills as soon as he starts. Song basically focuses how there was miscommunication in the relationship. how they was not able to understand each other even though they gave hints.The lyrics of this song screams haylor and even I think so with lyrics similarities in woman by Harry styles
    My Tears ricochet:
    According to swifties this song is about her feelings for Scott Brochetta. Taylor's former record label. Indicating with help of lyric like “ you hear my stolen lullabies”. Telling her journey about how she trusted her and WANTED to keep friendly relationships after she changed her record label, but he sold her master and her entire catalogue to scooter Braun without her consent. Mirrorball: it is my favorite track on FOLKLORE.
    From production to lyrics everything about this song is perfect. It is a perfect song to be played at prom nights and even at parties. She talks about how she is a mirrorball and she can reflect aka show her raw self to that person and can literally do anything for him. She talks about how sheshows her real self to that person when no one is around them. She tells how she can change herself to fit in with him and make this relationship work. SEVEN:
    Seven goes the most towards the india side in this album give the raw vibes from this amazing track. She starts by say “ please picture me in the trees, I hit my peak at seven” the lyricism in the song is absolutely amazing . It's a metaphor to a relation not working to due some reasons but they are trying their best to make it work from lyrics like“ And I've been meaning to tell you
    I think your house is haunted
    Your dad is always mad and that must be whyAnd I think you should come live with me”. Also giving reference to INDIA which is kNow for its culture.

    August:
    It's the second song of the famous love triangle created. This is from the perspective of the girl with whom james had a summer fling. My second fav on this album. Talks about how she met him in school and then they had a thing whole summer but it felt like nothing cause it happened to so quickly. She thought how this relationship could've worked but it didn't. I feel really bad for her.

    This is me trying:
    Not directly mentioned but it is the part of the love triangle. From perspective of James. Talking about how he is figuring things out and is still trying to understand everything and is sorry for everything. My fav lyric is “i was so ahead of the curve,that the curve became a sphere” and “pouring my heart to a stranger but I didn't pour the whiskey”

    Again being part of the love triangle but not mention. From the perspective of august girl talking how they started this thing and what this fling turned her into a mess she is still trying to figure out

    Invisible String:
    The most sweetest song in folklore. Its about Joe Alwyn. And how she talks about how grateful she is to meet him but she wished she met her little earlier in her life. Mad women:
    My least favorite song. She talks about how females can be dominating in the society even though society talks and Call her mad. There is something about the production i didn't like. Epiphany:
    A amazing track, great lyricism. Talks about life in genral. Mentions about her grandfather.
    I totally loved this track

    Betty:
    The last song of that love triangle,it is from perspective of James. And how he Misses Betty and called his relationship with that girl a summer thing. And blames her About everything that happened. Peace:
    Thia song is kind of a letter to joe and talks about giving him a child and how she sees his family as her own and she wants this relationship to become a family

    Hoax:
    A song which again is secretly part of the Love triangle. This from Betty's perspective.
