O álbum se encaixou muito bem ao atual momento do mundo e nos deixa muito à vontade para ouvi-lo em diversas situações: relaxar, fins de tarde, cozinhar, jantar e até mesmo no banho. No entanto, acredito que poderia ter sido menos longo. Ao chegar próximo doFolkore é ,sem dúvidas, um dos melhores trabalhos de Taylor. Mostra uma artista cada vez mais madura. Possui composições impecáveis. O álbum se encaixou muito bem ao atual momento do mundo e nos deixa muito à vontade para ouvi-lo em diversas situações: relaxar, fins de tarde, cozinhar, jantar e até mesmo no banho.     One of her best albums. Folklore is a lyrical master piece. The story telling in this album is superior. The songs have so many stories about different things. Anyone can relate to at least one song on the album. Taylor is constantly out doing herself and proving to the world that she is talented as hell.

    It sounds like nothing she's done ever before. This is her best body of work (but, of course I say that every time there's new music from her), haven't stopped listening to it, it's amazing how Taylor can always overcome herself and put something fresh and new out so we can enjoy. I'm so proud of her.

    I'm genuinely so blown away. I was really nervous that she was changing her sound, but this is everything. It's soft but powerful. The lyrics and production are somehow so new for her but also right on brand. I really hope people give this album the recognition it deserves. Amazing to think she wrote and recorded this in 3 months during quarantine. Wow.

    When I woke up on July 23rd and checked my email, the first thing I saw was that Taylor was dropping a surprise album. I couldn’t believe it, I was shocked and thought it may have been a spam email.
    But I found out that it was true and I was so happy that entire day and up until 2am the next day. I won’t forget watching the ‘cardigan’    I want to share what the album ‘folklore’ means to me:

    But I found out that it was true and I was so happy that entire day and up until 2am the next day. I won’t forget watching the ‘cardigan’ music video as soon as it came out. I was captured by the visuals and by Taylor’s voice. I was in love with her artwork all over again and in a new way. This album has made me smile, cry, dance, and scream along at the top of my lungs. Many of these songs have hit very close to home for me and they have helped me process my emotions and my own experiences. One of the things I noticed right away was how exquisite Taylor’s voice is on this album! Her voice seems to embrace you like a warm hug. I am also so blown away by her ability to tell incredible and deep stories in 3 minute songs! I truly believe that this is an album for everyone, from the long time fans, to the kids with heartbreak, and for the person on their car ride home hearing one of these songs for the first time and who dives into Taylor’s world and artwork. I truly believe that everyone is able to relate to these songs and I appreciate how easy it is to fit these songs into your own personal story and give them each your own meaning. These songs hit close to the heart and bring up so many emotions and memories for all people. The album has chill, relaxing, peaceful, fun, and sad vibes. It is a beautiful album to add to Taylor’s discography and I’m so beyond proud of her for releasing it! As I sit writing this, I am listening to ‘folklore’ and thinking about all of the experiences and memories Taylor has brought into my life. From hearing her songs ‘White Horse,’ ‘You Belong With Me,’ and ‘Love Story’ on the radio back in 2008. To begging my dad to go to her Fearless tour and his dedication of dressing up as Taylor Swift to win me concert tickets from the local radio station. To falling back in love with Taylor and her music during the 1989 era after a rough few years in my life. To the day I won back stage passes to meet her at the 1989 tour. To telling her about the loss of my mother at age 7 and how her music helped me and all of her kind words. To experiencing the rep tour on the floor of the stadium. To buying her first SELF-OWNED record ‘Lover’ on the morning of preparing for sorority recruitment. And to this day, with the masterpiece ‘folklore’ out into the world. And every day of the future, I will stand by her side in support and in awe. Thank you Taylor for making music and for bringing so much happiness into this wild world.     I love the slower and more mature sound with some country vibes. It's the lyrics that really keep me interested, some deep and thoughtful songs but more 'fun' ones as well. So far definitely my favorite album of 2020!

    It's one of her best album and one of my favorites also. It was playing on my streaming app nonstop. It manifests the sound I perfectly needed during this time of a pandemic. It also has the best stories and I really enjoyed it.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
