    A very good album, Taylor's songwriting is on point and shines like never before in this record. Maybe the music genre is not for everyone and it might require more than one listen, but it's truly enjoyable and one of the best records of 2020.

    'folklore' is definitely Taylor's best album in the recent years and a completely different sound that works very well for her. The cohesive sound of the album and interesting lyricism also help build this album to be one of her best works.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. honestly, this album could be her most mature one. it is so much different from her previous ones and its by far her best one lyrically and it is so brave of her to try a whole new different genre in which she really proved that she is still powerful and succesful and can still break the records even by dropping a surprise album and video and Cardigan is her best lead single because it can make you feel the autumn/winter vibe of the whole album and lets you know the genre and makes you aware of what to expect from that album. the production is pretty good and her voice is amazing and suits the tone of every song espiceally her low notes are awesome. this is deffinetly album of the year material.     Nectar for ears.Took my soul to an adventure.I felt like I was in the woods and met some people along the way who told me stories about themselves.Did not expect that high quality lyricism and poetic approach to some matters.Especially "Epiphany" made me emotional because of the situation we are in rught now.Loved the album.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
