    The album is a novel. Filled with rich stories with golden memories. The whole album feels nostalgic at its finest. The stories creates a scenery where the audience are invested and involved. Folklore is her most technical and most vocally inclined album with the most amazing storylines.

    I have been a swiftie for a long time and I can say that this is among the best Taylor albums, it is incredible, each track is better than the other, Taylor really showed her strength as a songwriter.
    Give this album a try and you won't really regret it.

    This was the direction I was always secretly hoping Swift would take. It's a lyric masterpiece and without loud pop sounds it really just makes that aspect of her writing shine in a way it hasn't before.

    Compared to the previous albums such as 1989 and Reputation which were both made for the masses to enjoy, the    Folklore steals the spotlight from Red as the album that really showcases miss Swift’s songwriting ability. These raw lyrics and interesting narratives are accompanied by Taylor’s haunting vocals with a perfect production to match which makes the album stand out from the rest.

    Compared to the previous albums such as 1989 and Reputation which were both made for the masses to enjoy, the Folklore album is more vulnerable and personal with no interest on impressing, just on expressing, which made the audience feel more closer to the artist. Another evidence of this is the artist’s sudden switching of gears from her usual Pop sound to something more Indie folk and alternative which is the perfect genre for story telling other than country, which is also briefly explored through the song “Betty”.

    What’s also great about the album is how cohesive it is yet each song can easily be separated from the other. The album also encourages most of its viewers to pull up their dictionaries and create their own storylines by connecting songs to see which is related to the other and I can personally say that it is indeed a Taylor Swift learning experience.    … Expand

    This album is a masterpiece, we delve into storytelling by Taylor. It feels like picturing and reminiscing every past moments, that is how relatable it is. She manage to give us a peek of how the story goes up until the end of its track. It makes me cry and feel hopeful. How flop it is is how it can be called as "The Album of the Year" . I love it so so much.

    I expected a Safe and Sound vibe from the album when it was about to be released (and since she, Taylor Swift, already updated us about how it will sound to us) and yes it's kind of like that, but exceeded it! You better have headphones and a calm area for best experience listening to the tracks. Also you may need some dictionary and researching and investigating along the journey. I'm blown away!

    "Folklore" is indeed one of the most iconic artistic masterpiece ever written. This is what i call artistic expression at it's finest. The way she captured her raw emotions and painted it on the canvas embellished with beautifully crafted song writing accompanied with minimalist acoustically driven music and really simple yet refined, passionate and mature vocals is transcendental. She yet again proved to us that is undoubtedly one of the greatest lyricist of our generation. This album is one of the most cohesive piece of art she's ever created. It takes you on a journey to a whole new dimension and in the end, it ends on a good note, it's the retelling of forgotten tales, the sadness and pain of heartbreak, the happy and more authentic or in other words realistic side of love, it's everything wrapped in this delicate paper covered in sparkles. It cleanses your soul. And as Pericles had said, "what you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." Thank you "Taylor Alison Swift" for gracing our lives with this timeless and evergreen piece of art during this dark filled with uncertainty period that we're the entire world is going through. I'm sure that this album will bring sunshine in the lives of billions and will give them strength to rise again.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
