    The album lives up to its name. It's a compilation of folklores inside Taylor Swift's head, and now inside ours. This album is very cohesive. Each song adds up to one big story and really showcases Taylor's superb songwriting skills.

    An absolutely stunning masterpiece of an album, it's filled with beautiful imagery and Taylor's decision to keep the production minimal has allowed the lyrics to shine and speak for themselves. Perhaps the best show of her songwriting skills as the lyrics are able to hold their own and stay in your head without needing loud, bubblegum pop/mainstream pop instrumentation.

    The album is wonderful and intimate, it shows different interconnected stories in its songs that make us travel to another world and imagine ourselves in the situation of each character to whom the song portrays, like Betty, who was betrayed and clearly was a person who expected love eternal and magnificent, but James didn't know how to give it to her.
