    Taylor reminding me why I fell inlove with her songwriting in the first place. Lyrical narration was hauntingly poetic, unlike her old works this was a glimpse of her maturity and growth.

    'folklore' is Taylor Swift's indie alternative album. It just seems to accentuate Taylor's ability and dexterity when it comes to genre shifts. However, you can still feel it's a Taylor Swift despite the genre shift. Not only does it include Taylor's signature songwriting abilities, it just shows that she's becoming a better songwriter with every coming album.

    This album is her best since reputation. The vibes, the lyrics, vocals and instrumentals worked well together. This is such a cohesive body of work. Taylor Swift proved once again that she is born for music especially during these times that we need some masterpieces like this in a middle of a pandemic.     there is no much more to say other than: lyrical genius. each word is put so perfectly into the songs creating beautiful stories filled with emotions. taylor had shown her talent with her previous albums but this was a completely unexpected, unique, cohesive, excellent, skipless body of work. deserves album of the year!

Unlike her previous albums, particularly 1989, "folklore" by Taylor Swift is not created for the mainstream, but rather for her listeners to listen to and appreciate the beautiful lyrics to. This is her best album yet.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
