The Mother is a suspenseful assassin film and yet it also has a thematically gripping story hidden underneath. Jennifer Lopez rocks in this dang solid film worth watching on Mother's Day.

Nearly simple plot with predictable end and continuous action with limited silence .Though most commenters in imdb deem this is a dull and very poor story I disagree with them a bit . Just watching the movie without getting deeper to check for mistakes and holes, the story can be watched smoothly although it is a bit a ‘hit in the belly’ as we call it here. As for example it shows on how difficult a strong action killer can connect with a child and protect her from the bad guys and learning her the hard way to live This is what u have to say for this good movie .
