Apparently Zac Efron finally got his act together and is willing to take small risks in roles that are different from what he's always been known for, and I support that.

Between the forced feel of its good intentions and the manipulation of its plot, Efron really can't navigate this story properly. It lacked a lot of punch.
He's on the right track, he just needs to be offered better scripts.… Expand

Loved this movie!! It captured the mood of the country when it was torn apart at the seems. What was "our duty" as an American? What was the patriotic thing to do, serve or protest? So beautiful that a rosary becomes a symbol of hope. Can'tLoved this movie!! It captured the mood of the country when it was torn apart at the seems. What was "our duty" as an American? Thought it had some funny parts, nothing to bad about the film. True story and a damn good one at that. Zach Efron played the part pretty well. Wasn't great, wasn't bad.
