Although its less hypocritical than the original, it still lacks the qualities of a good movie, and it doesn't bring anything to the table for people outside of the fanbase.

All can think of after watching this in the movie theater so long ago is that I only want to see it again in Japanese with subtitles.

A positively abysmal sequel to a charming first movie. The plot meanders nonsensically, the villain has no motivation or interactions with the main cast, half the dialog is centered around teasing Misty about her crush while Ash blatantlyA positively abysmal sequel to a charming first movie.
