Life changing film of course... The point of enlightenment is leaving all behind. Ozaki 8 or whatever it is it means leaving all behind. In this film the reference to enlightenment is taken from Buddhism and the words "Bodhi" and "Samsara"Life changing film of course... The point of enlightenment is leaving all behind. Ozaki 8 or whatever it is it means leaving all behind. In this film the reference to enlightenment is taken from Buddhism and the words "Bodhi" and "Samsara" are also references to Buddhism. "Bodhi" means the enlightenment of wisdom and "Samsara" is what Buddhists call as the wandering cycle of life. Birth, Life and Death and again and again since the person attain "Nibbana" aka Enlightenment. Here it all depicts wrong but somewhat correct since if you want to Be Enlightened you need to leave all behind and go against the system but not being a criminal but being a noble. However, in the end we all must give more than we take...… Expand

Wow I just finished watching this movie in 3D. I was thinking man what a masterpiece. How come I've never heard of this movie before. So I was curious what kind of reviews it got. And I am completely shocked at all the negative reviews. IWow I just finished watching this movie in 3D. I was thinking man what a masterpiece. How come I've never heard of this movie before. So I was curious what kind of reviews it got. And I am completely shocked at all the negative reviews. I honestly don't care because these are the same people that rate every trash Marvel movie that comes out a 10/10.. I've never seen the original movie but this one was awesome. It kind of reminded me of some of my other favourite movies. I was thinking while watching it that it reminded me of the first Fast and the Furious film. And it also reminded me of Gone in 60 seconds. The story was good, acting great, action amazing, visuals amazing, 3D was incredible. Everyone needs to watch this in 3D. Haters are going to hate I guess. This is a must own 3D Blu-Ray. It's easily one of the best action movies ever made.… Expand

This film is exactly what it intended to be, a loose remake of a cool, innovative, unique movie fro 1991. It has many of the things that made the first movie special and it is for modern times. Of course its not a comedy, nor romance, but it does live on the the edge of extreme real life. Truly beautiful and amazing filming of some of the most gorgeous locations in the world - on the big screen - where these movies should be seen! Good acting, good quotes to take away and a good philosophical message to think about - that is if you think...… Expand

This is an awesome movie!! (For all anyone knows, this movie could be absolutely outstanding, it just hasn't had a huge Disney marketing blitz and therefore is not 'good' in the eyes of (un)professional critics).

It is a great movie. I liked the movie overall, but you will be somewhat disapointed if you were expecting lots of explotions and bullets in the xtreme stunts.
