The movie wasn't that good. It didn't have enough action and i like the original cast with will smith and Tommy lee Jones.

I have to write a seventy five character review. This movie can be summed up with one word. Meh.

Though this hasn't been dealt nearly as bad of a hand as, say, "Hellboy" or "Dark Phoenix," I still can't see how someone could look at all of the rumors of on-set rewrites and bureaucratic in-fighting and call this "business as usual" blockbuster filmmaking. "Men In Black: International" is messily plotted, featuring low-brow humor and character work, and an overall lack of the kind of wonderment and fun that made the prior successes so memorable. Again, it's definitely not the worst version of itself I went in expecting, but it leaves a whole truckload to be desired. Expand

All special effects ,no heart. They abandon the MIB core mythos and just resort to blasting everything in sight with big weapons. Feminist dialogue running thru the film as well.
The actors are just slumming it.

Frankly I had no expectations, first of all because I wasn't excited to see it but I was hoping it would work. It wasn't so.

Men in Black: International is a very poor excuse to try to keep alive a franchise that should no longer be alive.

Men in Black: International is a very poor excuse to try to keep alive a franchise that should no longer be alive.
What's the use of believing that they can renew it if they didn't make any effort to refresh it? Because that's the point: If you're trying to preserve this franchise then you should be trying to do something different.

Ok, you lost the original protagonists. Then don't try the same dynamic between characters believing that somehow it will be different because now one of those characters is a woman.

The strongest point is the chemistry between the main characters, after all both Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson had already shown it in Thor: Ragnarok. Unfortunately Hemsworth is not so funny here while Thompson doesn't have a strong personality in this story either.

Honestly I really thought this was an inert film. Slight entertainment and almost no comedy. A big misfire without a doubt.

Eh
MIB: International should’ve been hilarious considering the two leads were in the extremely funny Thor: Ragnarok, And while Hemsworth and Thompson have decent chemistry, the story is very bland.

After Agent H gets raped, in only the worst way possible for a MIB Extraterrestrial Police Agent, Agent M and Agent High T scour the dark alleys of London looking for a 'black alien bastard' to come out of a pub-to have a go and kill it. Armed with only a Slimy Slim Jim(a cosh or club with slime on it), Agents M and High T for the next week start killing all the Alien Scots or Alien Brits or Alien Lithuanians in the "Alien black areas of the city"-all while the Agents are under a Primal Rage spell received from Agent O-the Alien Mole of the MIB. In the end it turns out Agent H wasn't raped but was a willing participant in some serious Alien Extraterrestrial sex that would probably be considered too rough and too blue for even the unrated version of Men in Black: International. Anyway, everyone has a good laugh while the new MIB recruits have to dispose of all the Alien carcasses before their respective Alien home worlds discover what happened......or do they?(Sequel setup) THE END Expand

The franchise in men in Black is ruined. The mib trilogy is the best with a huge cast-will Smith-tommy lee Jones-josh brolin-Linda ferntino-Vincent D’onforio. Now smith and Jones should come back for round 5.

The rest of the movie is unfortunately average. Neither of the main characters looked like they enjoyed making this movie, hard to make anything of such a poor script. A rushed new character/s introductory movie, we're not given much more...I loved the last MIB movie especially, I felt emotionally invested, not with this movie. Hopefully, the next installment is better and more effort put into a story, one can only hope. Expand

The film doesn’t touch much, there is no drama, a primitive story about saving the world. I put 6 only because Chris Hemsworth, who, in my opinion, pulled the film out of complete ass.

It has action, a lot of comedy by Chris Hemsworth (the old one is now the funny one and the new one is the serious one) and there is chemistry between them, the tiny little alien in red is sarcastic and charming. The music is the same and transports you to this forgotten universe years ago. Obviously it is not a masterpiece, also at the end it stretches a little, but it fulfills what it promises. Expand

Estan buenos los efectos, la historia es entretenida por momentos, pero el problema es que no da risa, renuevan todos los personajes, y si tiene muchos huecos el guion

Two new agents are trying to save the universe again. The acting is passable, there's lots of action and lots of funky aliens to spice up the visuals but mostly the uninteresting story is what makes this one fall short of the mark.

Better than mib 2 but worse than mib 3.
Tessa is seriously miscast. Antagonist is underdeveloped. Plot is barebones.

MIB: International isn't the greatest film in the series but it also isn't the worst. Sure we don't get Will Smith and yes at times the script isn't great, but it's a silly summer action flick.

"Men in Black: International" is a bang-average revitalisation of the franchise with unfunny humour, forgettable characters, a slow tone, and lame dialogue.

In fact maybe the original was just a happy accident riding the wave of the will smith, independence day and just the general 90's alien conspiracy wave started by Xfiles? I seem to remember there being better writing in the first 3 movies also. Here things play out like a weak sauce Saturday morning cartoon. Expand

This was a missed opportunity and I fear things aren't going to get better anytime with more MIB movies.
I did not like the "it's 2019, we should not say men in black only, there are women there too" approach shoved into us couple of times, you can make a joke but it's becoming so tiring hearing old franchises crapped on in modern times because they had maybe sexist (?) titles. I mean they treat agent M like she is the first woman in MIB. No, we had woman member at the end of original franchise with Will Smith (way better at acting as MIB than Chris Hemsworth, sorry). Movie had potential but they blew it with changing the lore and logic of MIB. Sadly
