I heard that the Snyder cut will be released. So, yay

I adore this movie, it has hope, action and the characters actually act like the characters from the comics/animated series (JLU) . It showed me that even if you seem strong on the outside we all still need people to be even stronger.#Hope

Enjoy this poorly written and mediocrely acted movie as you witness such an iconic group of beloved heroes being reduced to a bunch of uninspiring bumpkins as they fight a borderline generic antagonist who somehow manages to be even more pathetically uninteresting than any Phase 2 MCU movie villain. Enjoy the cookie-cutter action sequences and the beautifully crafted CGI that makes a good portion of the film look like a rendered cutscene from a video game on the PS3. Thankfully, the DCEU somehow managed to barely recover from this mess. Expand

If they had more time, they could have built the elements of the Justice League much better. The characters were introduced haphazardly, the plot was a mess, the villain was a bit meh, and in the end, they needed Superman to save the day. Go figure!

DCEU is making a comeback with this one! Finally, after many years of slumber, it is catching up with MCU at least. Although I can say it is not the best of the best, at least, they are finally learning.

Great potential, poor execution. I was disappointed, to be honest. We were expecting a lot for this movie, but I guess DCEU was a tad bit too late in the film game. Their TV series was much more promising than their movies.

The biggest flaw of the film was that it didn’t fully utilized its characters. They just jumbled up some of the members of the Justice League from the comics, gave it a substandard representation of a villain, and called it a day.

Those that rate such types of movies negative are the same posters, commentators and wikipedians that spread ******** in our culture using the internet. They have in real life a sadism second to none, they have very deep ultra sadistic schizophrenic cramps which make me happy to know that whenever they see a damn good movie, their sadistic cramps trigger in with schizophrenic noise creation as life and earth may not be ethical or good, not to mention the production of any good quality superheroes with values etc. This all collides and boosts the schizophrenic sadistic cramps of such "critics" until one day a key movie element is created in which hopefully their sadism turns against themselves, smashing their heads against walls, before they can write a review and rate it... After the problems the DCEU faced this Movie should save the plan. Did it worked ? No sadly not. Dont get me wrong its still a fun Movie its entertaining when its needs to be. But you can fell its trying to hard to be like Marvel. The reasons why i still kind of Liked Batman v Superman even with its problems was its dark tone and awsome brutal fights. But in JL the tone is all over the Place the Movie got directed by Zack Synder the continued his or serious take on Superheros but than came Joss Whedon re-shot most of it and a Movie came out that made no one really happy. There are two directors who have an compleaty differences styles. You can really see what part are by Zack Synder and what parts are Re-shots. With the inconsistency of its tone there also comes the cheesy dialogue what don't really work in the overall picture. Because of the massive re-shots there was no really time to polish the CGI. The CGI is mediocre at Best. Of course the Story dosnt also isnt very interesting, but it could have been if the tone would be more consistent. JL also has one of the worsted villain i have ever seen in an Movie to date. He isn't even a real Character just some CGI dude to fight. Think of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman whatever you want but those Movies were way better than this one. Expand

On a whole it really wasn't good enough, the antagonist was a joke, like Ares in Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot still can't act, who is Cyborg? Where is Green Lantern, Affleck just isn't Batman. I did think The Flash and Momoa were really good. To compete with Disney and Marvel, DC has to do much, much better.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Justice League not only satisfies causal fans, but it allows fun for everyone. Sure, Batman is a murderer, and Superman is dead, but there's just so much FUN. Sure, I'm not that big of a fan, but this movie made me a fan. Zack Snyder is the greatest director since Steven Spielberg. He has not only directed 3 films for this universe, but he also got kicked off of one. If that's not cool, I don't know what is. What a LEGEND. Ok, now to the movie. I don't know why Superman's face looked odd, but you can tell they worked really hard on the CGI. Like. yeah, it's amazing and all. It just could've been better, at least it was better than THANOS. Like, who wants to waste 300 million dollars on Thanos, when you can waste, I mean use, it on a mustache. Also, the story is great. To be honest, I couldn't really follow what happened, and yeah, I almost feel asleep, but these are such MINOR complaints. Next, the actors were great. Ben Affleck and Henry C are done as their heroes, but it's because they wanted to go out on a high note. Some sources are speculating that they are leaving because they want to be in better films, but what better films are there. It's all happening right here at DC. Lastly, the action was just great. At first, when the film started, I though that a video game cutscene was playing, but it was just Batman jumping around. But, again, this is just a MINOR complaint. In the end, PLEASE WATCH AND SUPPORT THIS FILM. DON'T SEE SOMETHING LIKE CAPTAIN MARVEL, WHICH IS JUST A COPY OF WONDER WOMAN, a terrible film btw, BUT HIS IS SUCH A MINOR COMPLIANT. With love, DcShill12 Expand

I can't believe how the DCEU has the ability to ruin comic book cinematic events, with Batman v Superman, they ruined what should've been the most awaited moment for comic book fans, the comic book crossover of the century, and they turned it into a pretentious, boring, convoluted mess of a movie and now with Justice League they ruined what should've been THE comic book crossover of the century and turned it into a convoluted, unfunny, cheap-looking, boring movie.

But it was kind of expected, the DCEU was already ruined and all the messes they made with previous movies would naturally make this movie turn out to be pretty bad.
The pacing is just horrible, the plot is generic and cliché (Oh, the villain has to get an item that will make him destroy the universe how creative), there's no character development, the Justice League has zero chemistry and there's no conflict. Like, everyone is just okay with being a team now, they're all happy and good friends now and will destroy Steppenwolf together. Steppenwolf is one of the most generic and cliché villains I've ever seen since Apocalypse from X-Men Apocalypse, I swear 99% of his lines are cliché villain lines and even the way the actor portrays him is cliché and cartoonish.
The CGI is TERRIBLE and makes Cyborg look awkward to watch, and you might say it's not that bad but it is considering the HUGE budget this movie was made with.
Batman is wasted and that's one of the worst things in this movie, Batman was awesome in Batman v Superman and was one of the only goof things about that movie but here, he's just there, he doesn't do anything, he barely has any screentime when he's in the Batman suit.

Nothing about this movie is good and it's one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen, I expected so much from this movie and that just makes my feelings about this movie even worse. I don't give it a 0/10 because that's only reserved for movies that I seriously can't watch.

Is Justice League the Holy Grail of DC movies that we've been craving? No. Is it better than Wonder Woman? No. Is it terrible? NO. Is it good? YES. Justice League is a very flawed, but very fun and entertaining movie. If you are a DC or comicIs Justice League the Holy Grail of DC movies that we've been craving? No. Is it better than Wonder Woman? No. Is it terrible? NO. Is it good? YES. Justice League is a very flawed, but very fun and entertaining movie. If you are a DC or comic book fan, you will have a smile on your face the whole time, guarantee. Everyone in the movie gives their A-Game: Ben Affleck once again nails Batman, Gal Gadot is amazing as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher was surprisingly good as Cyborg, Jason Momoa was awesome as Aquaman, Ezra Miller has made the Flash his own and is good in his role. Even the side characters give their A-Game, with J.K. Simmons playing Commissioner Gordon, Amy Adams as Lois, Diane Lane as Martha, etc. Henry Cavill makes a great return, BUT there is something about him that will definitely be noticeable, as the CG for his mustache is sometimes hilariously bad. And thus we get into the negatives of the film, and there are plenty. The pacing for the most part, is offcentered. Everything feels rushed as we snap from character to character from place to place, it's hard to feel connected when you barely have enough to process what the hell just happened. It does feel as though large chunks of the movie were cut and placed on the sidelines, no doubt because WB wanted a movie under 2 hours. The CG sometimes can be pretty bad, the mustachegate is one clear example, and might take you out of the experience. The villain is also pretty weak, as we don't spend enough time with him to really care about his motives. Also, becauseof this rushed pacing, moments happen in the film that should be cause for applause, but in the end feels a bit unwelcomed and weird. But do these negatives detract from the film as a whole? Yes, but only slightly, as the positives are able to outway most of the negatives. The action is fun, exciting, and full on amazing to watch unfold on screen. The character interactions are also perfect and are exactly what you would expect from a screenwriter of likes of Joss Whedon. Also...DANNY ELFMAN should be commemorated for his work on Justice League as his score is able to fit things from old DC and new DC while also making it his own. But then again, that's a fanboy perspective. The fact is, this movie is what happens when you don't know where you're going in the end. I would have loved to have seen what Zack Snyder would have produced, but I guess we'll never know...and that's really disappointing. Because after all the release material that has been shown, disappointment is really all you can feel...in the end. Expand

I've seen the majority of these recent DC films and I've only really liked Wonder Woman, although the film certainly had it's flaws, it was still entertaining.

This film was just dull. I didn't care what happened to these characters, the bad guy was boring and really forgettable, the CG was awful for the majority of the film, the action scenes were pretty bland and had nothing interesting going on.

The Justice League animated series gave more depth, emotion and motivation to the same characters then this movie could ever hope of matching or even surpassing.

This whole DC universe has been a real let down. Instead of rushing these films to compete with Marvel, they should have given a lot more time and care to plan everything out. It's not fleshed out enough and it doesn't hold a candle to the MCU.

I wasn't impressed with the script. The villian was extremely.. boring. And I kept seeing Lord of the Rings plotlines or Avengers parallels throughout.. Batman = Iron Man, Flash = Quicksilver, Aquaman = Thor, Wonder Woman = Captain America (though she is waaay more powerful), Cyborg could be another Iron Man or War Machine and Superman = Hulk... The DC heroes pack a little more punch usually, but their characters are less developed, and I found it harder to connect with them (although I really liked Flash, despite the difference between his personality and the CW Flash personality. The action generally looked good, though It looked like Batman could barely move more of the time.. like he was old (which after being Batman for 20 years, I guess he is). The look and feel and action didn't really make up for the lack of depth, at least it didn't for me. It could have been worse. I really wish it had been better. I may have enjoyed Green Lantern more than this.. the computer graphics felt a little too heavy at times. The slow motion seemed like a bit too much at times as well. I want to enjoy movies about my favourite comic book heroes. I enjoyed some of this. I hope Aquaman turns out to be a better movie. I do want to see more Justice League. I would prefer a less cheesy script. Expand

Justice League falls well below my expectations in such disappointing fashion. The story is rushed and unfocused. New characters are poorly introduced and as a result of the rushed story, hardly develop at all. There are multiple moments that feel very forced, adding more insult to injury on the fragile plot. Elfman’s compositions sound toothless and lack presence; the opening track is terribly weak for a film of this magnitude. Did I also forget to mention about the ending too? Very underwhelming. Comedy is sloppy with more misses than hits, with Miller’s lines more cringy than funny. It’s all good to shower the audience with vibrant visuals and sleek action, but there is no doubt in my mind that jumbo budget Justice League is nothing more than an unfinished article that desperately lacks polish. I do not recommend this film. Expand

The CGI of Steppenwolf was great too, Steppenwolf as a character was threatening and violent, and that's a thing I wanted to see actually! The CGI in general was great and stunning!

Everyone's performances are really good, and the dynamic between the characters are fun to watch. But, there are a few problems. For one, the CGI is pretty weak. Some shots look like they'd be great video game effects, but they don't look convincing in real life.

Also, I feel like Justice League was trying to "fix" the issues than angry fanboys had. But, however, the things they were "fixing" were things that didn't even need fixing. For one, the tone felt VERY different from the other DCEU movies. But unlike the X-Men movies or the MCU, the tonal shift feels very abrupt. We went from a more aggressive franchise with little bits of humor to being more kid-friendly. Again, I don't mind if they want to go a little lighter, but it's pretty clear that some of the choices to make it lighter were not part of the original vision.

Another example is the color. It might be brighter, but you can tell that from the way it was shot, you can tell this color pallette was not the original style for the film. It gives the film a more washed-out look.

Also, the music is pretty disappointing. What Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL did in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman was incredible. The music in those films were both fun to listen to, yet aggressive enough to be intense. Danny Elfman's score feels very out of place, even adding some unneeded callbacks to the '89 Batman theme and the '78 Superman theme.

But, even though I wish the studio didn't feel pressured to make it more kid-friendly instead of just sticking to the tone and style they had with the previous 4 films in the franchise, Justice League is a decent film with nice character interactions.

And no, there's no Snyder Cut. Give it a rest.

What bothered me in this movie is the final cut. It seems that some scenes have no coherence and the script makes us think that sometimes the film is aimless.

The color palette used for this one is certainly not the most attractive and the soundtrack is not flashy. The villain is kind of 'meh', they could have waited a few more years to release this movie so they worked harder in the script and the CGI.

Disappointed, though, is not totally bad.
It's the kind of movie you understand that is not good but you like it.
Maybe on a rainy day when I have nothing to do, I watch again, or if I watch it on TV I do not change the channel.

But I expected much more.

Wonder Woman is totally the match maker and person of peace in the group. There would be no group without her. Not Batman, not Superman. In fact, these two keep having a pretty big rivalry at times. But Justice League is far from being a bad movie. It's perfectly serviceable for what it is, and it's certainly a step in the right direction for DC comics in terms of characters and tone.

The story isn't anything special. It's pretty much the same thing as Marvel's The Avengers, which also had a paper-thin plot: otherworldly entity seeks to conquer Earth and rule its people and can only do so by obtaining a cube-shaped device that has unclear power to offer whomever possesses it. The Avengers made this concept work by having fun with its own simplicity, and Justice League makes it work almost as well by the same means.

This movie doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's something that DC comics films have struggled with in the past. Justice League continues the trend set by Wonder Woman and is a much more light-hearted experience than we're used to having with these characters. There's a lot of humor injected into the dialogue and a lot of the banter between the characters surprisingly works really well! I found myself chuckling quite frequently as these super-powered beings (The Flash being the strongest comedically) brought some whimsical humanity to the group of Gods among us.

The other main aspect of Justice League that works is the action. As is to be expected from big-budget blockbusters, it's on-point. It's exciting, it's fast-paced, and it delivers exactly what people who see this movie would expect.

That being said, the dialogue does suffer from more than its share of cheesy moments (which can be a forgivable flaw in a superhero film) and the CGI--though mostly very strong--does show its weaknesses in quite a few of the more bloated action sequences. Above all this, the most unfortunate flaw that the movie has is that it's too short. The studio mandated that the film be cut to under two hours (the result is a runtime of 1:59:59), and it shows. The characters still need to have their backstories fleshed out to a significantly greater degree but there just wasn't enough time allowed for it! I would love to see a director's cut of Justice League that includes 30-40 extra minutes of character development. It's a very rushed movie and it ends leaving audiences wanting more.

Justice League is fine. It's an enjoyable, disposable superhero flick that unfortunately wastes much of its potential due to its condensed runtime that doesn't allow it to grow as large as its ambitions.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After the disappointing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League is a fairly good superhero movie.

It doesn't use too much time setting up a massive plot (a trap that other superhero movies have fallen into); rather, Justice League gets into the action fairly quickly. In this way, it feels like a more streamlined and therefore enjoyable experience. Gadot, Miller, and Cavill's performances as Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Superman shine here.

I found the villain to be underdeveloped and too easily defeated. Justice League doesn't quite reach the heights of Avengers, but it's still a superhero film worth viewing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think this film would probably get a lot more hate if ANYBODY even had the energy to care about it at this point. What should have been the shining moment in DC's movie universe instead just turned out a fat nothing. Sure, a couple of the scenes were cool (Superman's revival was awesome, even if a bit dumb), but overall the plot was boring, the villain was boring, the quips were more annoying than endearing, and the whole thing didn't even have the visuals to back it up. Walking the line between poorly executed and straight-up bad.

Snyder is a horrible writer, but an excellent director. Justice League is the perfect example of this. The dialogue is cliche, the relationship between characters is unsatisfying given it's the entire point of a film to be a team. The plot isSnyder is a horrible writer, but an excellent director. Not the worst movie ever but definitely a huge pile of problems. The main problem with this movie is I don't think they ever figured out what movie they were making. DCEU needs a reboot because there are some great stories but the current film makers are really bad at almost every aspect of film making it just needs to end before it gets worse. Wonder Woman will probably stay the only good DCEU film to date. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think the movie does not even hold up to Marvel superhero standards. Very short introduction to new superhero backstories and very rushed. Why no separate movies about them first? Comedy was 50/50 cringe and OK humour. CGI was just too bad, I am serious. Cast is good.
But most movie lines are not good, too many one liners and expected script. Diana (Wonder Woman) was the best, Superman was just not good because of CGI. Bad guy introduction was also kinda quick. Movie should have been longer. So many side characters that go wasted, no point of them in movie.
Pacing is just not good and few wrong. But at least better than BvsS or Suicide Squad. There are 2 post credit scenes, one is just funny, another one is weird, hints on Justice League 2?
Overall CGI and tone was too red-ish. Batman feels like he does not want to be Batman in this movie. Movie was too light hearted, no serious threat, no people in danger, just one family? I am more into Marvel than this for sure, but I just wanted to see how good or bad it is. it is not bad movie, it is just not enough for me.

In the end: one of the worst CGI movies I have ever seen.

After watching Infinity War and can assure that Justice League has so much heart and truth than the Marvel one. But hey, the bots will say the inverse. The movie is fun, heroic and has a lot of characters developmente, plus action.

In Justice League, everything was all about power, so Batgod just became Battrash. It was even worse than Dawn of Justice. I was fan of Batman and Ben's apple face, I started to hate WB.
DC had lost hope. I will wait until Steven Spielberg creates a shine of hope an I will wait until finally Christopher Nolan creates new Batman movie with Hans Zimmer.

If you get Batman v Superman and remove the (very few) exciting parts you get justice league.
