Jurassic World is by far the greatest movie I have ever seen. Other than the CGI, almost everything in it was astonishingly good. Great writing, acting and action. For any JP fan, this would be a great movie to watch.

The movie is actually pretty good. I know that some people don't really like it, because of the dark themes, writing and probably the blood in the movie, but the dinosaurs were kind of cool.

In no way is Jurassic World better than the original. Not that it was ever going to be, but still.

Jurassic World was a risky movie, as it could evidently derail the entire franchise as a whole and make it sink into cinema history. And yes, I'll admit, it was very sloppy and stupid at points. However, there's just something about Jurassic World that is appealing to any Jurassic Park fan like myself, as it does, on occasion, slip some great homage to the original.

The cast does great and are perfectly cast in their roles, especially Chris Pratt at the head of the main cast. The special effects are terrific, and that end fight scene for all those who saw it... you just have to admit that was awesome.

The kids' story in the movie is a bit rushed and convoluted, basically just being thrown in there so the film can squeak another twenty minutes of run-time. But it doesn't matter that much in the overall context and outcome of the plot.

It's a fun, exciting, even if oddly dumb popcorn flick, and that's exactly what it needed to be.

Jurassic World is a laughable and embarassing disaster.

The director desperately tries to recapture the magic and feel of the 1993 movie but he just can't. Plot holes are ever present, but that's OK, we have been used to it. Acting and dialogue are mostly mediocre, and character development arcs are, well, where are they?

Let's go into some of the story tidbits then. A new hybrid dinosaur is created in the lab as a bigger T-Rex (named Indominous Rex), it can go into full stealth mode (can't be traced by thermal scanners LOL), it fooled its human captors faking its escape by leaving climbing marks on the cagewalls while it was hiding and waiting for its chance to escape through some open door/gate, and yet someone from the Army thinks it's a good idea to use it in military operations so he tries to safeguard it. Another seemingly good idea is the abundance of big carnivorous dinosaurs in a theme park where thousands of people are expected to joyously roam around while on vacations. Even stupider is the fact that after what happened in The Lost World (where a T-Rex escaped in San Diego and went into a destructive rampage killing people) there would still exist those who would trust a company to create a dinosaur-themed park and still visit it. But the worst of the worst is the funny idea that someone can tame dinosaurs as fierce as the Velociraptors and command 4 of them as if they were his pet dogs.

All in all, Jurassic World is an absolute mess. At least it is somewhat viewable as a blockbuster action movie and you can mindlessly consume some pop corns at home if you have nothing better to do, provided you are willing to accept many (if not all) of its sins. The fact that this silly movie became so successful at the box office and got much better critical reviews than Batman vs Superman is worrisome.

Though riddled with cliched dialogue, a recycled plot, and uneven performances, Jurassic World still lives up to the expectations of many, and delivers impressive special effects, edge of your seat action, and a terrific performance from Chris Pratt.

What I do remember wasn't anything special, either. The effects aren't groundbreaking anymore, the characters aren't interesting (with the exception of Chris Pratt), and none of them get much development. The story is kind of dumb, too. Why did they finish the park after everything that happened before? Why did they think it would be a good idea to make the Indominus Rex (or whatever it's called)? Why were people losing interest in DINOSAURS?! The movie at least had a little good action, but not enough, and I didn't like much else in the movie. Seeing the original Jurassic Park for the first time recently only makes these flaws more glaring, since it's so much better. Expand

Graceful, popcorn filled thrilling and tense, taught and energetic. This trilogy gets much better as it goes on.
Successfully expands from park to world. Truly, it's a Jurassic world after all. Even though Steven Spielberg didn't direct it, he's still the executive producer. The visuals were thrilling and spectacular and so was the plot line. As the time passes on, the visuals get more artistic and realistic. This trilogy series never wears out it's welcome, I wonder what they will think of next Jurassic Space? I hope this film continues to receive critical acclaim as it's a dazzling popcorn thriller and it's emotionally and visually exciting.

I think in the fifth film, there should be dinosaurs in space or the dinosaurs are attacking aliens. The CGI gets better as the years go on and it successfully replicates and in some ways improves the behaviours of the dinosaurs when they react with humans with the dinosaurs violent behaviours sure to thrill the entire audience!

I'll try and keep this as short as I can. Jurassic World is a fantastic film, but you should go in with arms wide open, and try not to think too much of it's previous films. It's as simple as that.

Jurassic World suffers a few clichés and a couple of moments that you'll expect. But Jurassic World was still a great film despite those flaws. I would have rated this film an 8, but because of the fantastic soundtrack I've given this a sold 9.

If you're of course going in to see explosions, guns, people being eaten, ripped to shreds, that's what you're going to see. But if you're going into the cinema expecting a complex storyline and well developed characters. Then maybe you shouldn't go and watch it.

Anyway, I personally thought that Jurassic World was a fantastic film, Chris Pratt did a great job on his role, and so did Bryce Howard. Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson, eh... Well, they did ok for the most part.

The overall film was very detailed and immersive, which is another thing that I liked a lot about the film as well. The storyline again, not really complex, you kind of know what's going to happen.

That's all there is to it. Just expect lots of action, and some thrill.

There are so many implausibilities you finally come to the conclusion the filmmakers were trying to make a good "B" film. At one point a boy jumps in a lake, then a few minutes later his brother asks him "do you still have those matches", and the boy takes out a matchbox, which would have gotten soaking wet and ruined, but they are somehow perfectly dry. Then these two young boys get a jeep started and running perfectly that has been sitting for 20 years. I don't know how they could put air in the tires, much less start the engine. Dinosaurs actually talk to each other in this film. I could go on and on as many people have done. In the end I was entertained enough to make it to the end, but because it is simply a rehash of the original I can't give it a very high rating. Expand

The park is brilliantly realised and the new genetically engineered dinosaur adds new terror (not that it was strictly necessary) Chris Pratt proves that Guardians Of The Galaxy was no fluke and that he has real star quality, while Bryce Dallas Howard handles running in heels with aplomb. The film works because it understands what made the first film such a success and simply builds on it, tipping its hat to the original subtlety along the way. A great, old fashioned crowd pleaser. While I enjoyed watching Jurassic World, I felt it took an approach that was chiefly targeted towards kids.

Historically, the Jurassic Park series had a great foreboding nature consistent right through to the end of the films. By contrast, whenever Jurassic World came close to achieving this standard, it was undone by silly, kiddish, slapstick humor. The seriousness of the theme deteriorated further by the director's insistent desire to make dinosaurs and humans work together in ways never thought possible. This of course goes against one simple premise Jurassic World's predecessors consistently preached, there is no survival, there is no cooperation, it is survival of the fittest.

The approach they took to the film was however refreshing and provided a new look on an already well covered pre-opened park.

Its a bit of fun where one can switch off and enjoy the ride.

Hey guys, shut up, you are not a f-ing critic neither am I, but still keep your mouth shut. The movie is better then any movie I have ever seen since Avatar. I was actually concerned when people were either going to die or get hurt. Which is something I can't say I had in previous movies, such as *Throws up in mouth a little.* Twilight. Or the hunger games, but that one I can't really put against because I read the books so I know what is going to happen.

Anyways back on track, the movie does a really good job keeping the tension through out the movie. Be honest it got so tense that I actually thought I was watching a horror movie then an action movie. I especially loved the scenes where they left the raptors out and was looking for the dinosaur, and the end fight scene. HOLY crap, that was the coolest scene ever.

But I am going to nit pick here because the movie is great, we all know that so I will tell about some of the bad things about it.

The plot-in my opinion - really doesn't follow the ones from the old ones, which were also GREAT movies. Just basically trying to hunt down this dinosaur the entire time. It really dissapointed me because I was hoping for more dinosaur fights, dinosaurs getting out and you have to find your way around them like the first 1. But sadly there are only several scenes of dinosaurs fighting, they make them really good though.

Another thing that was really bugging me was that you killed all the raptors except one, really? That was unnecessary and almost added nothing to the plot. It would have been fine if the raptors got injured or something, but you didn't need to kill them all. It's one of those things from keeping me from giving this movie, a perfect score.

But honestly like I said before a great movie, and a really good sequel to it's previous sets of films. To be honest when I go down and look at all the negative scores, it just seems like people are hating on it for no reason. It seemed like they couldn't think of anything so they just make a random insult and just insult the movie.

Typical online bull crap. Don't mind them, if you loved the old movies you will, for sure, love this one.

The direction and thrills are on point here along with a fantastic and likable performance by Chris Pratt. The main baddy is the genetically modified super predator known as the Indominus Rex, its a cool and formidable foe for the film and was an interesting villain to introduce to the franchise. The film relies heavily on nostalgia at times when it doesn't have to and aside from Grady, Hoskins, Barry (played by Omar Sy), Cruthers and the return of Henry Wu; alot of the characters are a mixed bag. I found Claire to be a bit annoying and her nephews (especially the youngest) to be equally annoying. Theres also a needless divorce subplot that offers nothing to the film in the grand scheme of things and Pratt and Howard have absolutely no chemistry. Plus the CGI isn't that great or at least it could have been better. But as a whole, this film does alot of things right. It served as a fine reintroduction to the franchise and I thought breathed a new life into the Jurassic Park franchise. Expand

The whole movie feels like slightly wasted potential, most parts are some what entertaining but consistent slow scenes and bad writing really take away from the enjoyment of the film. Multiple times I found myself doubting or laughing at somewhat serious scenes because of how out of place or bad some scenes felt. The special effects themselves looked good and most times it felt like they represented the dinosaurs accordingly but sadly it feels like most of the movie takes place in a studio full of green screens with hardly any on location filming. Acting from the Movies main star Chris Pratt is quite good as usual, Chris himself dose fall into that generic action hero role and doesn't stand out in this role as much as his others. Everyone else kind of just blends together and wont make much of an impression on you. The most enjoyable part of this movie is obviously just watching Dinos fight each other and kill people, witch is at some points is very bloody and gorey witch is nice to see they didn't try to hide the violence. All together Jurassic Park is a fun Week end movie to see with some friends but don't expect Mad Max Level Action or get your hopes to up. Expand

Finally, we get a Jurassic Park sequel that isn't completely idiotic and mind-numbingly boring. Jurassic World ignores the events of The Lost World and Jurassic Part III and introduces a new theme park 22 years after the first park closedFinally, we get a Jurassic Park sequel that isn't completely idiotic and mind-numbingly boring. Jurassic World ignores the events of The Lost World and Jurassic Part III and introduces a new theme park 22 years after the first park closed where dinosaurs roam free, although it's more similar to something similar to Disney World than the original park. In order to spike attendance again, the park has created a new, bigger and scarier hybrid dinosaur, the Idominus rex, but the big guy escapes his enclosure, and it becomes a hunt for the dino before it makes its way to the resort. Jurassic World does take its time until the action really begins. The first act is completely dedicated to showing the park in its normal operational design, and while it is slow, it does try to capture the sense of wonder that the original Jurassic Park had. The dinosaurs in Jurassic World do look fantastic. It's great to just be able to marvel at them for the first 30 minutes. But this is a Jurassic Park movie; we want to see some dinosaur action. Luckily, the movie knows that point when to crank up the action, and it's actually quite jarring. It goes zero to a hundred really quickly. One moment I was watching the dinosaurs, a bit bored by this point, and the next I'm bracing my seat because of the sheer intensity of the film. Jurassic World is a seriously violent and visceral film. It's probably one of the most violent PG-13 movies I've seen since The Dark Knight, but the violence is about on par with the other three films, so you should know what to expect. The slow opening act makes the rest of the movie extremely effective and thrilling, and while Jurassic World didn't have anything as terrifying as the kitchen scene in the original film, there are plenty of scenes that will melt your face off. If you have the chance, go see it in IMAX 3D. It's definitely a movie you need to be completely immersed in to get the full effect. If you're a fan of the original Jurassic Park or you like newer monster movies like Cloverfield and Godzilla, Jurassic World is the movie to see this summer. Expand

To start things off the effects of Jurassic World are really good and the performences were good, Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Vincent D'Niofrio (I definitely didnt spell that right) but my main problem is that Vincent D'Niofrio character is so over the top cartoonish that it got to the point where I was hoping he was going to die. The movie was a bit predictable at times and the movie is only 2 hours and 4 minutes but so much happens that movie feels 20 minutes longer than it actually is. The begining was really cool where the doors swing open and it's like Christmas came early. The kids didnt annoy me as much as I thought they would. The ending fight was a great part, better than the 20 second fight in Jurassic Park 3. The Indominus Rex was a really good feature and Mossarasus Dinosaur got a really cool kill on a very minor character. My main problem is the dialouge sometimes isn't the greatest and the comic relief didnt always hit. If they do another sequel like there planning on doing I hope they do get another directer, Colin Treverrow did do a good job but I ended up getting to hyped up and I was disappointed but the movie was enjoyable for what it was, A Jurassic Park movie where the main dinosaur antagonist is a monster not an actual dinosaur. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's strange. As I was sitting in the bus on my home the plot deficiencies started coming to me. I could not put my finger on it, but something seemed to escape me. Storywise there was nothing in Jurassic World to elevate above the usual action flicks, no unique plot to really make it stand out. Looking back I started to feel empty. And yet as I was sitting in the cinema none of that really bothered me. These feelings came only later but as I was watching the film I felt completely satisfied. As far as action movies go I would easily put it amidst the best of the year.

But returning to the plot, first with the major negatives:

1.) Simple Plot. The story is fairly straightforward - they make a giant killer dinosaur, she escapes and wreaks havoc. Storywise nothing else happens. It could work, but only with more memorable characters that leap out of the screen. And while Jurassic World has good performances it does not have the kind of characters to make up for the simple story. And that is the biggest fault of the film.

2.) Clair and Owen's romance. When he kissed her it just came completely out of nowhere. Sure, it is established a bit that they once kind of, sort of had a thing, but that is never built up and their romance is entirely superfluous to the story.

3.) Dinosaur intelligence. Just how intelligent are they supposed to be? First Indominus Rex makes the velociraptors switch allegiance, even though she is supposed to have no social skills. Then the velociraptors waver in their allegiance, turn against Indominus Rex and have an "understanding" with T. Rex. It's just all too anthropomorphic for a supposedly serious film.

With the bad out of the way here is what I really liked about the film:

1.) How they explained the name Indominus Rex. It's just so perfect and self aware.

2.) Masrani seeing Indominus Rex for the first time. It was the perfect first reveal of a monster.

3.) Owen's character. He is probably the saving grace of this movie.

4.) Final fight between Indominus Rex and T. Rex.

So in the end Jurassic World - definitely one of the summer must- see's, a good action film but storywise don't expect too much.

The acting is solid, Chris Pratt knows how to make a good lead and Bryce Howard gives a good performance. The story is good, mostly because it's focused and don't feel overstuffed. The visuals are amazing, because of a solid direction by Colin Trevorrow. The score is perfect. with both the old theme song and a new, thrilling one.
If you liked Jurassic Park, but felt that there could be a little more action on that film, go see this one.

For several years I've heard rumours about a "Jurassic Park 4", but it never got life. Until, in the end of 2014, I watched the trailer of "Jurassic World" for the first time. I thought: "This better not be like 'Jurassic Park 3.'". As it turns out, it wasn't. "Jurassic World" did what the previous "The Lost World" and "Jurassic Park 3" didn't. The movie does not bring previous characters, only new ones. Finally, they won't be put on the same situation, on the same island again. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I thought this films was fantastic! I was a little nervous at first but I thought they created a unique story and it wasn't the same old stuff and they added something new to the story. I thought they had a great cast and managed to add humor, romance, action, and adventure to it that they other films lacked. I know a lot of people criticize the films for completely changing the story but that was what I liked about it.

I also thought it was cool that they showed the dinosaurs in a whole new light. The raptors weren't the big bad dinosaurs as they were featured the previous films. The T-Rex actually saved the day towards the end. Awesome move!

Let's see... The pros:
- Dinosaurs all looked and reacted great
- Chris Pratt and B.D. Howard nailed it
- That one a**hole who makes everything worse was there, as usual
- Everything happened too damn quickly! Like reading a good book, this movie ended in a heartbeat.

The cons:
- The children. Their script and their acting messed this up big time for me.
- Some bad attempt at kiss jokes and humor in a thriller
- Dinosaurs dying to protect our stars? No f***ing way! Writers get outta here!
- Everything happened too damn quickly! How thrilling it could have been if there were some hide and seek games, some "you are on your own, figure it out" moments, some holding breath... I'm saying a horror major could have been amazing here.

Bottom line: Why the hell aren't we entitled to have a bone-chilling horror movie with dinosaurs and why must we suffer this family crap?

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

The movie is fun and inventive, whilst taking on an exciting narrative arc combined with exciting characters and, most importantly, a fantastic array of dinosaurs. Whilst the film suffers from several plot inconsistencies and dialogue problems, it successfully takes the audience back to a world full of dinosaurs in an original yet nostalgic way. The re-imagining of what a park full of dinosaurs would look like if it were to exist in the future is portrayed with great originality. It also hints back at Jurassic Park throughout, particularly in a beautiful scene mid way through the film. Overall, Jurassic World is a fun movie that succeeds in taking viewers back to Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur fantasy. Expand

I absolutely loved the first Jurassic Park. It was clever, action packed and pretty revolutionary for the time that it came out. The two that came after... well... the first one was watchable, and I did kind of enjoy it, but the third? Well. I guess not having Spielberg on board didn't help. Alas, Spielberg was the executive producer for this film, and needless to say, the third probably would've been much more enjoyable had he worked on it. This film was GREAT! It was the type of film that they made movie theaters for. It was loud, terrifying and fast-paced, which will help keep your grandpa awake as the film progresses. Although the story is pretty predictable, the cinematography and action scenes make up for it. The two kids in the movie don't really help the story progress in any way, they did set up one of the coolest scenes in the movie. I won't spoil it for you though. Well, here are my final thoughts on the movie:
Great film to see in theaters, very enjoyable even if you haven't seen the originals!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Jurassic World, Settles in nicely with the Original Trilogy, Originally thought to be a Reboot by many, the film proves that to be wrong, having many nice nods for fans of the Original movie.

The film starts out fairly slow, introducing a family we don't get much to go off as far as character early on and talking about the development of the "indominus rex" Unfortunately that's the bad part of the film, its slow start.

It takes awhile to get interesting, but once that ball starts rolling it only manages to get more and more interesting, as you get to revisit locations from the original film, those with good eye for detail will notice small nods here and there, like the banner in the main lobby of the original building surrounded by the bones of Raptors.

The charm of this film really comes from its willingness to give nods to its roots, they even use a combination of Animatronic and CGI for its Dinosaurs, which I found a nice touch allowing me to really get into the Jurassic Park mindset.

Chris Pratt makes a convincing animal handler, actually doing things everyday animal handlers do with big predators.

Bryce Dallas Howard does a great job at being that Management type that only cares about the product until things get bad.

Vincent D'Onofrio dies a fantastic job at being the guy you know is upto no good and you love to hate him for it.

Every other actor in the film, unfortunately fall short, to two kids 'Gray' and 'Zach played by Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson really fall short in being convincing siblings for most of the movie.

The action was solid and kept me on the edge of my seat every time a moment got tense and I really LOVE that the T-Rex in this film is actually the T-Rex from the original Jurassic Park, seeing its original battle scars from the fight with the Raptors in the first film made me all giddy to realize it was the same Rex from my Childhood.

The one Raptor 'Blue' this is the name of the Beta Female Raptor that Chris Pratt's Character 'Owen' worked with and earned the trust of the pack, you could somewhat feel yourself actually growing an attachment to the Raptor, I like how they managed to fit a bit of personality and character into this Raptor, enough to make you feel tense when Blue is fighting.

Overall 'Jurassic World' is a great watch for fans of the original film, its full of small nods that you'll smile to see when you catch it, the kids will love the film, I mean its got Dinosaurs and Action what else could they ask for? Adults will find a splash of quirky romance that some may find charming.

I would recommend this movie and even re-watch it with friends and family.

My rating would have been higher if it wasn't for the slow start and dull acting from two members of the main cast.

Welcome back to a Stephen Spielberg type of movie.

It definitely had the old Spielberg feel to the movie. At one point, it felt like Goonies with the interaction of the brothers.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Howard were great in their roles.

TheThe original Jurassic Park still is a personal favourite, it is an enormously fun, thrilling (with some nail-biting moments) and brilliantly made film, with one of John Williams' most memorable main themes and scene-stealing dinosaurs. The Lost World has its admirers, but for me it was a major step-down and one of Spielberg's weakest films, and Jurassic Park 3 was even more disappointing.

Jurassic World is not a patch on the first Jurassic Park and I didn't quite find it the return to form that it has been touted as, but for all its faults and uneven parts it is a massive improvements on the previous two sequels and is an entertaining film in its own right that does more right than it does wrong.

First things off, Jurassic World is an incredibly well-made film, it's beautifully shot with scenery that's both colourful and atmospheric and the dinosaurs look wonderful. The dinosaurs also steal the film, not just their designs but also that they're lots of fun and are scary, their scenes are great to watch and there could have been even more than there were. This is especially true with the Indominus Rex, who is chillingly bloodthirsty, when she is stalking her prey it's enough to be glued to one's seat and then jump out of it. Michael Giacchino's music score is positively stirring, and even includes themes from Williams' score for Jurassic Park, which was just a lovely homage and fits within the rest of the scoring beautifully.

The film's homages are most enjoyable and give the film a nostalgic quality, some of it is savvy and funny and while not as much as the original there's still a good of thrills and scares to be had. The latter half is often very exciting, the film is efficiently directed, doing nicely in maintaining the tension, and the acting is good (though one does wish that the characters were written better). Chris Pratt has a likable and warm presence, as well as a nice wit, and Bryce Dallas Howard is similarly good even with the most problematically written character. Vincent D'Onofrio makes a real effort making his somewhat one-note and underused character more interesting than he deserves to be and does bring some intensity.

However, Jurassic World does contain some large problems. Not all the acting works, Judy Greer for my tastes was annoying in places and the children's acting was often too forced and their back story goes nowhere. The script and story are uneven, with the script it has its moments but it can be a bit muddled, as a result of trying to do too much at times, some of the dialogue is very weak and can induce cringes and some of the reversals are really out of place. It also could have done a much better developing the characters, because they felt very underdeveloped and clichéd, especially Claire, and any character arcs come off clumsily or aren't explored enough, particularly for the children. Owen and Claire's romance can slow the film down and does contain some forced dialogue. The story is at least never really dull, and excites more than it limps, but at the same time it does lack the wonder, consistent suspense, smartness and originality that Jurassic Park had. It does feel like a too predictable rehash at times, does feel muddled tonally, the exposition in the first half hour does go on for far too long and doesn't really say anything interesting and the ending is too silly and anti-climactic for my tastes.

All in all, uneven and not on the same level as the original Jurassic Park, but a very entertaining well made film and by far the best of the sequels. 6.5/10 Bethany Cox

I went in with really low expectations, but was quite surprised by how good the film was. It is entertaining and it gives some props to the original JP which were some of the best moments in the film. Pratt and Howard worked exceedingly well in there roles and the story was actually not bad for the fourth entry in the series. There was a little too much action and CGI gobbily **** as the film went on which became predictable and boring for the last 30 minutes which is why I think it could have been better. Anyway, it's no way near as good as the original, but way better the JP III. I would put it on the same level as the Lost World.

It's no longer magical like first Jurassic Park or even the second one. This movie offers annoying characters who played in 200 other movies and they simply don't fit their roles. They no longer know what the movie should be about so they put raptors in the movie who are tameable... They put in the movie fully working park with dozens of kids who are not even a little bit scared by dinosaurs. They train dinosaurs for their watter shows like if they were some pets. I'm very familiar with the critics score of 59 because it doesn't deserve any more. It's a movie with dumb dialogues, annoying actors and actresses. This movie is like any other movies today, simply put fan favorite actors in, make great looking CGI, great effects, and additionally put everything crazy in the movie like new fictional dinosaurs and raptors who do as master orders... And the story and the point of the movie is somewhere thrown in the rubbish bin somewhere arround, nobody heard about it... This is what makes your box offcie today, just say everything is more in the trailer and bunch of dumbasses will love it. Expand

Fallen Kingdom which I've seen in cinema and thought it was good and thinking that it is the same thing The Lost World and then they're making a sixth and last film and the Jurassic Park and World franchise is finally wrapped up. The story, I don't know how to say it, is the same thing as the original but doing it in a different way but you know what? It really works. Chris Pratt is really good in this since he starred and gained his fame in Guardians of the Galaxy. The park called Jurassic Park is created by John Hammond and then it's recreated into a new park called Jurassic World. Like I before, the dinosaurs are the best thing about it and one of them which is an Indominus rex escapes and goes on a rampage. BD Wong returns as Dr. Henry Wu, Lex and Tim are two grandchildren from the original and now it's the two boys called Zach and Gray. They're not annoying like I said in the original Jurassic Park. And there's is one thing that is important for the fans and that is the Tyrannosaurus rex appearing and fighting the Indominus. The best part about it is the end and it is all in sequence. Jurassic World is a fantastic popcorn thrilling blockbuster with good visuals which are not as good as the original but still good but the film has it's flaws because the story has the same elements from the original. Jurassic World is not as good as the Jurassic Park but everything about it it just impossible to hate and it made billions of dollars. The Jurassic Park films are fantastic. But the third film is not as good and it's hit and miss for people but I don't mind it. Jurassic World is the best film of 2015 and it feels like **** Valley. Expand

There are more than a few nice moments where you get to enjoy the park as it was "intended". It's a shame then that by the end of the film, any fleeting sense of wonder that you might have felt is replaced with Call of Duty-esque sensory bombardment.

Very well written. The beginning is a bit slow and sappy, but once the action starts, it gets real interesting very fast and never let’s up. I like this more than the original one.

Who did not love dinosaurs when they were little? Back in the 90’s, they had the first movie called Jurassic Park. then they later made Jurassic Park: The Lost World and then Jurassic Park Three. In my opinion, the third one is the best, but this movie is a close second. It basically is about these two boys who go to Jurassic World to visit their aunt whom they have not seen in seven years. Their aunt is the person who is in charge of the park. In the park, there is a dinosaur that is a mutation of a T-Rex and a Velociraptor. The creature escapes from the cage and brings terror across the island. Many are injured and a lot of dinosaurs die. The aunt, her friend Owen, and the two boys are trying to find a way to survive the dangerous dinosaur. I have grown up watching these movies, and the only one that has disappointed me was the second one. It never impressed me. I like the characters from the first one and the third one. Even though this movie does not have them, it is still a pretty good movie. The movie is pretty graphic though. You get to see people get eaten by dinosaurs. How cool is that? I never knew that humans could be eaten by something that has not existed for over a millions of years. Also in the movie, you also get a little romance. Watching this movie, I was very impressed with all of the animation. The dinosaurs looked so real. Since it has been so long since the last one had came out, no one knew what to expect out of it. When I saw the previews of it, I got so excited because I had loved the original movies so much. Watching these movies when I was younger made me love dinosaurs today, but it also made me very fascinated with them. Usually when there is a movie that is done 20 years later it is never good, but this movie is worth the time to watch. Expand

This is also a continuation of the trilogy Jurassic Park. In the previous Jurassic Park, the park was never able to open to the public because of the lack containment of the animals. This year in Jurassic World, the park has been authorized to be released to the public. Replacing the old park, lies the new park. Jurassic World is a park contained with genetically modified, prehistoric dinosaurs. Claire is a park operations manager, and the aunt of visitors Zach and Gray Mitchell. Scientists created a hybrid to become a new attraction to the park, because “No one is impressed by a dinosaur anymore,” said Claire. The dinosaur’s name is the Indominus Rex, and has been in captivity all it’s life. The Indominus Rex is transfused with many mixed dinosaur and other animal’s DNA. The base geno is the Tyrannosaurus Rex (a.k.a the T-Rex). Other genetic mixtures are cuttlefish, tree frog, and many other genes I will not specify. The dinosaur is up for review with the park owner Simon Masrani. He feels former military man Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) should observe it to examine for vulnerabilities. The dinosaur happened to escape its cage and has started wreaking havoc to everything that moves. One of the things I really loved was the visual graphics and effects. First of all, The dinosaurs look amazing. The texture of their skin, the claws, and facial expressions of the dinosaurs were amazing. Especially, when the Indominus showed its face. The bone structure looks almost perfect. The jaw on the dinosaurs are expanded to the fullest point. When the dinosaurs roar, the screen shakes and trembles. The detail of the teeth are picture perfect. It makes the intimidation level seem much more frightening. When they roar, you see the slob and blood fall from their teeth of their last kill. I think it is really cool how they made it. It almost makes me feel like I’m looking at it myself. The final dino battle was legendary. The way they were bumping each other into the buildings and destroying it looked really divine. The lights had an electric spark upon impact. It made the room light up in the dark. All the wood and bricks were falling. The dinosaur’s blood is glistening in the light and blood leaking everywhere. I just thought the visual effects in this movie were epic. Another thing I loved were the sound effects/music. The sound effects were on point. The way the dinosaurs stomp on the ground is intimidating. For an example, one of the scenes where the Indominus broke out of its cage, Owen is trapped under a car after being chased. He’s laying on the ground trying not to be spotted by the Indominus. The dinosaur is walking around the car trying to pick up a scent. The way the dinosaur’s foot collided with the ground was really loud, along with a rumble as an aftershock. I had my TV at almost max volume to experience it as if I was in the situation myself. The TV stand shook and vibrated upon the dinosaur stomp. You should have saw my face. I was in a shock on how realistic it felt. Also, I like the theme music. Every time the Indominus is searching for the characters, the music starts playing. For instance, when the Zach, Gray, and Owen were hiding in a building, the dinosaur is slowly picking up their scent. The music played and the dinosaur is slowly inching up to the building, while showing its deadly teeth. The music gave me chills. This is how you know that something is going to happen. The music attracts me to sci-fi and thriller movies.

Overall this movie was fantastic. Hammond previously had a dream that he can open up a park with dinosaurs. It failed because the dinosaurs escaped its cages. So the park has never opened up. Finally, Hammond’s dream has finally come true. They have prevailed Hammond's idea to attempt to open up the park again. So they decided to spice it up and do something different. I enjoyed that they made a genetically hybrid dinosaur, and is scary and very unique. The thing is dinosaurs cannot be contained. They are powerful creatures, especially the Indominus. “Hammond, after careful consideration, I've decided, not to endorse your park,” said Allan Grant from Jurassic Park.

Expand

And what is happening with Jurassic World? The same.

Jurassic World is a blockbuster in all its forms but failed in its execution, weak in script and weak in its development, throughout the whole film the feeling of deja vú will be inevitable, because in spite of its visual achievements, Jurassic World is basically Jurassic Park updated.

I honestly recommend it because I know it will be fun for most people and I have always stressed that cinema is also about that, so I recommend it. On the other aspects, there is much to be done.
