This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is a suprising masterpiece. The dark tone with the very funny moments is great, the character development is as good as never, Rocket's background story is great. Is a suprising great movie with banger soundtrack. It is way better than the whole fase 4 and the fase 5 till now, it is a must watch for sure. It is a emotional finale for all the characters, in a really suprising way. It's full of plot twist and a amazing really evil villan. It is a emotional storm. Expand

It seems to just keep signposting where the protagonists are going next but in obvious ways, no subtlety, no reason for the movie goer to use their brain and the laughs are infrequent. It was easy to watch, it didn't offend and occasionally there was a wry smile that crept onto my face. But it was too easy to watch there was no meat to get my teeth into, and not enough wry smiles or even laughs.

This is by far the best of the mcu at the moment and it really wasn't that good, it's still only average.

I cried 3 times during it and have just felt shell-shocked from watching it for the past few days with how heavily some of the emotional scenes hit. This film really felt like James Gunn cared about the message of the film and how the stories of all of the characters were handled having had since 2017 to put it all together. Luckily this film is wise enough to steer clear of the rest of the MCU and feels for the most part self-contained. Apart from the whole Gamora dying and coming back viewers don't need to be caught up on the rest of the MCU to watch GOTG 1-3 which I think makes this movie very accessible to watch. The music in this film doesn't always hit as it did in volumes 1 and 2 however some song choices feel especially strong and I think the direction to take it to 90s pop is a good evolution for the soundtrack to express the passing of time and the guardians growing up. Some moments were a bit questionable and the pacing didn't always feel realistic but I don't have too much of a problem with this as any discrepancies in the pacing served the arks of the movie and helped tie it together nicely. Overall one of my favourite Marvel movies and definitely one of my favourite movie-watching experiences. I doubt Marvel will ever top this level of movie again as it is on par with some of their best work. I'm very close to giving this movie a 10/10 but id have to watch it again to decide that. Expand

Another great Guardians movie which is a worthy send off to the trilogy. My only issue with this film is that Adam Warlock just felt shoe horned in and was highly underused but other than that it was amazing. The order of best to least best is 1,3,2.

Actors that are returning include: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista. Also joining the cast is Shawn Gun from the Suicide Squad, and Chukwudi Iwuji from Peacemaker, John Wick chapter 2, and designated Survivor. The Guardians return for their final solo mission. After Rocket gets shot, the other Guardians have to learn more about where he came from to try and save him. Will Rocket Survive? Gun integrates a little of everything: action, teamwork, humor, and heart. Between all the fights and the Guardians trying to escape from danger, there was action all throughout the film. In previous Guardians of the Galaxy films only certain people got to save the day. Here however they all got a moment to shine. Groot is older now and has earned the right to have guns in his branches which makes him look like a killing machine. Drax spoke to kids in their native language. Rocket stands up to the people who made him. Nebula, Drax, and Mantis return to rescue Star Lord and Groot from the high evolutionaries ship. Just like all the other Guardian film’s there is humor infused into the characters. Not as funny as the second one but it is dealing with more serious stakes. Rocket’s backstory is not one any animal should have to endure. At the heart of all three Guardian movies are themes of family and fitting in. All the Guardians are outcasts and don’t really have a family, until they all meet in the first film. They all have different strengths and with combining those strengths and working together they have become a family and can achieve whatever comes there way. If you liked the previous two Guardians of the Galaxy films you should go see how the story ends. It’s a good conclusion to the trilogy. Expand

If you have followed the Marvel universe up until now then this is required watching…a couple of times did I feel like this or that movie was the end of “my phase one”…in truth. It’s this one. Where the original Guardians set the bar that could probably only be rivaled by the OG Iron Man and some Spiderman entries…this one brings everything full circle - in the best Goddamn way. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Over all i think the movie was meant to come across as sad which it some what does tho i didn't really care about Rockets back story not that it's bad i just wasn't feeling the things the movie was trying make me feel but i did feel what Rocket was feeling at the end when he was saving the "you know whats" so the movie was able to make me feel something while watching it. As a fan of the first two films, it's sad to see the "final" Guardians of the Galaxy film dragged down by a bloated runtime that simultaneously gives too little while trying to do too much.

While overlong for its story, not enough time is dedicated to flush out this movie's new characters (Rocket's cage pals, the Sovereign's golden boy, astronaut dog, etc.) and they appear at crucial moments in the film only to leave the audience with questions like, "What?! Why?" and "Who the heck was that?"

Like presenting it as acceptable to destroy an entire planet because it is not perfect? For Orcs like Putin perhaps. On one hand the movie is aimed at young children, on the other it is full of unnecessary shouting and sadism. Also the leading caracters who on one hand say to want to do the right thing, on the other answer the hospitality from a local family (with children) on a planet they visit with total disregard. They are welcomed in their house, receive drinks, borrow their car, run into their trashbins with the car, and leave them to die. While their spaceship is parked in front of the house... But the most annoying is the Endor sickness of wanting to introduce ‘cute’ creatures. A talking dog that still behaves like a dog? (either his brain is advanced, or not, decide!), a man with a duckface? Just nonsense. The gardians themselves are unlikely, but don’t cross certain limits. Yes, also in SF stupidity harms the experience. But better a rattling SF film, than a boring ordinary film. Visualy there is a lot to see. Stop trying to make a film for young children from unsuited material! Expand

He does an absolutely fantastic job with every character in this movie, while Rockets story is the centerpiece tying them all together. I've been feeling lately with the Marvel movies that they've been on the decline and that they wouldn't have much to offer anymore. I've missed a couple of them already. Firstly, after my experience with the previous films and secondly because of the bad reviews. Fortunately, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 brings the spark back to Marvel, at least in my opinion. I had fun. As always, cool action and effects, so there was a lot to watch, however, compared to those other Marvel movies of late, the story here was the best and most memorable of the entire franchise for me. Some moments I really enjoyed and found interesting. Of course, the music was not forgotten either, as in every episode. To sum up. I left the cinema satisfied because, besides the good action, I also took away memories of a good plot that some of the more recent Marvel works lacked. So in the end, I think it's a good thing James Gunn got a chance. For me, a great film that I recommend to both Marvel fans and fans of the franchise. Expand

The cinematography looked cheap and the writing was subpar. The film tries to build suspense about who’s going to die, but the only person I wanted to die was me the whole time. Disney needs to reboot at this point, I fear they’re too far gone. Expand

The story is maybe a mess, in the sens that it tries to close all the questions of the last movie. It's a bit overcrowded but it is strangely balanced. The flashback works very well here with the Rocket story. That focus on him, ties the rest in term of cohesion. I didn't like the lack of realism with the ending for Starlord, and the bad/sad after credits. The villain was convincing and solid. The FX are really good but those with Warlock in general felt, not that convincing. Great music. Great sounds. I give it 75%. Not the best for sure, but a good way to resolve everything. If you love animals, prepare for some emotion. All the characters are still loveable, and I was delighted to know more about the High Evolutionary. I also enjoyed the new angle with Gamora. In fact, I think I liked this movie more than vol 2.

However, since critical plot points happened outside of the Guardians trilogy (see Infinity War and End Game), the movie has the characters explain to us several times what exactly the deal with Gamora is and it can feel a bit clunky. But that really is the MCU's design which is at fault here.

A couple of jokes felt flat, for a few chuckles. A line or two felt cringy. But really I'm being a bit picky. Let me be clear : it was a joy to see these characters again, and I couldn't ask for a better end for the Guardians Saga.

I am very relieved to say that my worries"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" was an amazing surprise and surprisingly dark! After viewing the epitome of mid known as “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” I was very worried going into GotGV3. I am very relieved to say that my worries were superfluous. Not only is GotGV3 an excellent farewell to the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but it also dives into arguably the best character in the series’ back story. Rocket's back story was the standout portion of the film in terms of tone and delivery. This had to be one of the darkest portions of the MCU, in recent memory at least. At times I found myself more eager to see Rocket's backstory over the main plot of the film. That said, the main portion of the film was great too! Containing one of the Slimiest antagonists in the MCU, portrayed brilliantly by Chukwudi Iwuji, both the main plot and backstory blend together in an exciting, funny, emotional and shockingly gory (for a Marvel film) way.

However, I feel the character of Adam Warlock was tragically and disappointingly fumbled: There simply wasn't enough of him, which is a shame, considering how good of an actor Will Poulter is. But despite the underutilization of the character, Adam Warlock still manages to be somewhat cool and a tad funny. While GotGV3 doesn’t break new ground in any capacity, it succeeds in doing everything very well. I liked that it wasn’t overly saturated with forced humor, I liked that they didn’t make the main antagonist sympathetic, I liked the cheeky “Among Us” reference… Hell, I liked that they dropped the F-bomb! There are only 2 phase five movies out currently, but "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" is the best one so far.

8/10, Edgy done RIGHT!

Two things stand out for me. This is Gunn's Suicide Squad (2021) approach applied to GOTG franchise. Every character has an arc of some kind--if rarely a consequential arc (this is not easy to do; Gunn deserves much credit for this). However as the many characters each pull in different directions, the emotional thread of saving the life of one main character is utterly lost, overwhelmed. Some reviewers were affected emotionally. For me, the "save X" plotline played more like the McGruffin in a Hitchkock film: everybody says they care about "X" yet the audience does not have to care about X; we only care how and if the characters survive pursuing "X." VFX are better and more engaging than in AntMan Qauntumania. If this is a box-office hit, I will chalk it up as a triumph of excessive spectacle-itis. Suicide Squad 2021 is the better more creative version of this. Expand

The whole film consists of moving to point A to point B as slowly as humanly possible. Padding is everywhere! The movie feels long and, without going into spoilers of course. The conclusions of many of these characters feel unearned. I came into this movie expecting characters to die, but instead. I felt GOTG3 would have benefited from doing so! Any character that gets killed off in this movie. No matter how dark the subject matter is. Just comes off as the director giving brownie points, if you know what I mean. Again, without going into spoils, but if you know. You know, and the film feels cheap because of it.

Other issues include the camera. It moves from shot to shot too fast during action sequences. I wanted to admire the fighting scenes, but I couldn't! It was difficult to pay attention to what was going on and because of that. It was very distracting. Maybe it was because of the lighting, or how it was shot, but for the life of me. I can't remember what action scene was my favorite in the movie because by the time it happens. It's already done and forgotten about. It's that terrible.

I could go on about how the piss and **** humor took me out of the film, or how the music placement felt wrong for certain scenes. However, I believe Gamora has been hurt the most by this film. I promise you by the end of it. She will go from your favorite character to your least favorite character in about three hours. Gunn made her so unlikeable that it was impossible for me to ever root for her. For perspective, there is a scene where Gamora is on the toilet. Expecting the audience to laugh. Yeah, no, that's not happening.

I'll just end this by saying Rocket was the best part of this movie...when he's actually in it. One out of every ten jokes seemed to land with me and the characters. Especially Peter and Nebula, really like to yell in every scene, and it's incredibly irritating. The villain does this too and it just drives me nuts. Parents. If you plan to take your kids to this movie, don't. Animal abuse and gross out imagery are ramped in this film. If you want them to see it. Check out the movie first or wait unit it comes to streaming.

A complete and utter disappointment. This was not the way I expected the series to end. Sorry.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In reality this movie is closer to a 8.5 but I would feel wrong if I rounded and gave this a 9/10.

I was worried going into this movie. Phase 4 of the MCU has been mixed so far, with some films being better than other projects, and the CGI being of lower quality than normal for a studio like this. Fortunately, this movie is one of the better ones of this phase, and the special effects are all good in this movie. Volume 3 is a lot darker and more serious than I thought it would be, with there being multiple times where the Guardians gruesomely kill others, the exploration of Rocket's backstory of how he and his friends were abused, and how multiple characters almost die. This sadness makes sense though, as the characters have been through quite a bit over the past few movies. The jokes helped balance this movie, since GOTG stories are normally goofy movie with some serious and emotional parts to them. Rocket's backstory is mixed. It is really odd to see cyborg cute animals talking to one another, and in some cases it can be cringey with their dialogue or with their actions. That being said, it was heartbreaking to see them die, and when Rocket went into respiratory arrest and flat-lined, I almost cried. His backstory helps you understand why he is the way he is, and it's nice to see how far he's come since then.

Most of the characters in this movie are well used. The High Evolutionary, the villain, is very effective. He is shown to be a calm person who thought himself as God at first, but it is later revealed that he has a dark side where he is an angry basket-case who won't hesitate to commit genocide in order to create perfection among his creations. I like how the movie makes it clear that all of the Guardians are truly a part of the team and how they all have a part to play in the functioning of the team. The new guy, Adam Warlock, has some funny moments, and it will be interesting to see how he plays out in the future of this cinematic universe. The theme that I took away from this movie was how humanity is imperfect, but that it what makes us people, and our faults can be beautiful. This is the type of deeper messages that I like in stories, so it was nice to see it here. The ending of this movie was a bit cheesy, with the singing being a bit much, and having Groot saying much of anything other than "I am Groot," doesn't bode with me well. That being said, it does well at setting up the future for the next movies.

This entry still proves that Marvel knows what they are doing and how they can still make good content.

James Gunn really did tie all the loose ends and elements of the first two films into this climactic finish. I went from not caring too much for Rocket to sitting in a theatre seat teary eyed watching his flashbacks. The humor was great, action was great, visually stunning, it was truly a great MCU film. My only negatives against the film were the 1) script for Adam Warlock (felt like he could of had some more development) but that's me stretching for something to pull.
2) The end credit scenes not really giving us to much to work with in the MCU's future (again stretching to pull something) Lastly, High Evolutionary has entered the MCU's top echelon of true villians.

And here is really brilliant work of the actors, I am delighted with every actor from all the characters of the Guardians of the Galaxy team. A big component of these three films is the soundtrack, and this time it pleased me, I'm already running home to download all the soundtracks from the third part. I strongly recommend running to see this movie in the cinema!

Was it better than most of phase 4? Yes, easily. Not only does this have some of the best character work in the trilogy, but in the entire MCU. They all have great arcs that perfectly end or continue their stories. The soundtrack is not like the others, but still great. This also has some of the best action, comedy and CGI in the trilogy. Rocket was also the stand-out. Bradley Cooper did a great job and his arc is one of the best in the MCU. Adam Warlock wasn't what I excepted, but I still liked him. The high evolutionary was also a great villain who you will love to hate. IDK, I don't really have any big complaints. A pretty perfect movie with lots of heart, something that's been missing from the MCU since Spider-man: No Way Home. Guardians vol. 2 was the first MCU movie I watched in the theaters and Guardians vol. 3 is far from the last one I will watch. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This was not a great Marvel movie. It was an OK Guardians movie. The Guardians close out the trilogy, and their best performances are still in other movies where they can play off other characters. This has one of the worst villains of any of the Marvel movies. His motivations are paper thin, and completely indefensible. Rocket isn't in most of the movie, and instead of his comic relief and snark, we get Adam Warlock. One of the greatest antiheroes of the comics, reduced to an idiot for comic relief. I am so let down by James Gunn here, his exit for the DCEU shows where his heart is. It's not the worst movie in the MCU, but I would say Age of Ultron was a far more enjoyable movie compared to this. Disney is really trying to find their footing with these almost-all-CGI movies. This one, like Ant-Man and the Quantumania before it, just feels at times like you are watching a high-end 3D cartoon. Especially at times where characters can just feel weightless, as their bodies ragdoll and contort. It's shiny, and colorful, but I still would not say this is good CGI; and that's a serious problem when that's 80+% of your movie. What would I change?
*This movie badly needed Thor in it
*Rockets origin story had no flow in the movie, you could have just shown it in one sequence and the story would have been more even
*Get rid of this villain, just completely, make Adam Warlock the bad guy here and give him a redemption arc. The scientist dude can just die when Rocket escapes, and be a much more minor character. I don't think the movie loses anything, it gains so much more.
*Do not make a cool character like Adam Warlock a bumbling idiot
*Cut at least 20 minutes off the runtime, I felt like we had 3 different celebrations at the end, and none of them were anything like the touching sendoff for Yandoo from Guardians Vol. 2
*It was unforgivable that Groot spoke. You just destroyed his entire character. There is no reason, explanation, or anything. Just needed a touching moment, so boom, Groot can talk now.

People are definitely going to mixed on this. It is a touching sendoff, Groot definitely has some moments here.

And did it succeed? Well, I guess I could say that it did. Ironically, it was done by the man who went to fix the competitor's business.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is not the best post-Endgame MCU movie, for me that's Eternals, but in my opinion it becomes the third best trilogy in this franchise after Captain America and Avengers and incidentally gives a solid conclusion to these characters as we await what Marvel has planned for those returning in the future.

It's the same formula of course, but it's one that has worked for these characters.
James Gunn knew how to make the most of it, and who would have thought back in 2014 that he, along with Peyton Reed and Jon Watts, would be the only filmmakers to command a trilogy in the MCU from beginning to end.

That there are things I didn't like? Of course there are. Starting with a tedious villain. The High Evolutionary had to be a very different threat than the one seen in this story.
And the other is the biggest flaw, and that is the tremendous waste that was made of a character like Adam Warlock. Someone with the power to take on Thanos one on one, here he's just a pawn. That was terrible.

But there's no point in complaining over spilled milk. After all, it's an ending. A cycle that has come to an acceptable and appropriate conclusion.
Marvel doesn't lose the characters of course, but I doubt we'll see a volume 4 in a long time, if ever. And I say this even with what you see in the first post-credits scene.

Still, it was a good ride. Long live the Guardians of the Galaxy.

After the huge disappointment that was phase 4 and how bad phase 5 started, i can't tell you how happy i am that James Gunngot to direct and write this movie.

If you hated stories that focused on identity politics, or one dimensional characters, or generic tropes that have been used a hundred times before in super hero movies, this is a breath of fresh air.

A movie, not a product. A genuine story that has soul, you can tell that James Gunn has his heart on it. He wanted to leave the mcu with a bang and he did it.

Every character has their momen to shine, their own arc, they all feel like complete characters after everything they've gone through.

And the villain might be the best since Thanos. Sorry Kang but this villain was genuinely well written and the story manages to make you hate him for real.

The CGI is great and creative which is a rare thing for the mcu lately. The action sequences are amazinly creative.

The movie is going to make you cry of happiness, at least i did, and i genuinely mean it. You know how hard it is for an mcu movie to make me cry?

I am so happy this movie exists, and i will watch it again. This might be the true end of the mcu. I highly doubt that Marvel can top this'd I don't give credit to marvel studios or disney i give credit solely to James Gunn, i can't wait to see what he does with his Superman Legacy movie because he might actually make a great superman movie. This guy never misses!

First off, way back when this was first announced years ago, I couldn't help but roll my eyes, as I felt as though a third Guardians film was completely unnecessary. Everything was capped off and ended so perfectly for the Guardians with not just the second film, but also 'Infinty War' and 'Endgame' as well, so I couldn't help but feel like a third film would be overkill. Sure enough, my suspicions were confirmed with this two and a half hour mess of a film that felt more like three hours. I was checking my phone several times in the hopes it would end sooner rather than later. Production values were questionable and cringeworthy at best, with the most absurd and ridiculous-looking costumes, set pieces, etc. The worst of it, which is certain to give me (and I'm sure several others) nightmares for days, is a sequence midway through the film on an alternate earth that's inhabited by several anthropomorphic animals that speak some annoying gibberish alien language. It's incredibly off-putting and disturbing to say the least. Storywise, none of it ever feels all that justified. It's mostly forgettable, and the main antagonist is incredibly weak and poorly developed. He's one of those characters that's just evil for the hell of it, with no rhyme or reason whatsoever or any background motivation of any kind. Gamora's way too pissed off for her own good and simply just storms around taking prisoners the whole film, and her and virtually every other character in the film spends well over half of it shouting at each other irritably. Not to say that there aren't any heartwarming moments throughout some of it, but they're all completely overshadowed by the rest of the film and its loud shouting and obnoxiousness. Even this film's soundtrack was a letdown. While the previous two installments had pretty great throwback in retro music throughout, this one instead settles for mid90s punk rock for the most part, which did not match the tone of the previous two films well at all! It all sounded so out of place in a Guardians film and sounded more like something a whiny angsty teenager from that era would be listening to as opposed to the suave, classy, and charismatic '70s and '80s tunes that we all loved hearing in the previous two films that fits Starlord's personality so much better. As far as cast and performances go, the only true standout to me was Will Poulter as Adam Warlock. By the films end, despite its (very forced) attempt to tug at the heart strings as much as it possibly can, I still couldn't help but think to myself what an unnecessary film this was that absolutely did not need to be made at all! Overall, easily the worst Guardians film of them all, and one that jumbles itself all over the place with hideous costumes/set pieces, a pretty aimless story, and simultaneously the most annoying and nightmare inducing anthropomorphic animals one could possibly imagine (who would have ever thought something could be annoying and terrifying at the same time?) It only further adds insult to injury with the fact that they try to manipulate our emotions so forcibly at the end when it simply was not earned with this film. I wasn't buying it. Expand

Sie machenDie Guardians of the Galaxy kehren zum letzten Mal zurück.

No Heart, but Good Enough.

Just watch this Dumb, Not Star Wars Movie by James Gunn. We enjoyed the first installment because we had not connection to the characters, which gave him the edge in originality, but this third installment jumps from one plot point to another. Show don't tell is the best way the viewer can project their feelings into this story, but the story in this movie seems to rely on "Best Of" rather than challenge our characters and viewers with themes of evolving and growing up past your found family troupe that Gunn has enjoyed in many of his projects. I would suggest this to folks who want to watch a self contained space adventure with plenty of jokes, but don't expect to laugh out loud unless you have plenty of friends to go with you.

I loved the original: a pure gem of a film. While the second wasn't nearly as good, it is still rewatchable and that's not easy for a sequel. But this conclusion to the trilogy is bad on every level. How people who liked the previous films can gush over this one is simply beyond me. Lazy plotting. The soundtrack, while loaded with good songs, fails to deliver any emotional payoff. The humour consists of a few chuckles. Too many characters scream at each other. And the film just goes on and on. Gunn should have put the script through several revisions. Perhaps his mind was on the DC universe. It wasn't here.

And I thought Thor: Love and Thunder was bad.....

First Guardians of the Galaxy was really the best of the 3. Second one wasn't so bad but this 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy is so bad, I wanted to leave just 10 minutes into the movie. The dialogues were so terrible, it bordered on lame and "WTF!" The story line was ok but still not enough for me to give this movie a higher rating.
Normally, I would tell people to wait for the movie to be shown on Disney+ or Netflix or wherever if I think the movie is not worth watching in theaters. In this case, I wouldn't recommend watching this movie in theaters or even on Disney+. It's just not worth it! Go watch some other movies.

Very predictable and forced
I just watched GOG 3 and is a movie with nothing more than bad CGI. The plot, the script is very poor, it feels forced. I mean they wanted to make Rocket the center and the heart of the movie, but one thing is to actually accomplish that through a well writing script and a complete different thing is to use the sentence "you are the center of the story." I believe this type of movies are getting to the point in which the writers do not care about a good and deep dialogs and rather than that they only care of stupid jokes and silly acting. I feel sorry for the DC and WB movies in the hands of Gunn.

Already sunk because of that infamous marvel humor
You think they listen to the audience. Do you want an only marvel movie that made any sense, was out of that horrible marvel banter humor. It's what you do when you cannot write a script, when it's jumbled, difficult to understand. But the incredible hulk was a standalone decent movie come and the only good marvel movie there was. It's not like laughter is never used, but fictitious movie depicted real life laughter, not this marvel so-called humor. They'll say it made a lot of money, but It didn't. People get tired of the same script written over and over again. And the more oblivious producers are to the audience, for worst the product is.

The first one was clearly lightning in a bottle as it's by far the best of the trilogy. And if you expect the same, you'll be just as disappointed.

Marvel Decline Continues
I don't know what movie people leaving the high reviews saw but it wasn't Guardians. This installment takes everything that worked in previous Guardian movies and throws it away. Terrible story line, poorly timed bad (and not "good bad") jokes and don't even get me started on Adam Warlock. His character was so lame. Some of the costume choices are beyond bad. The movie as a whole was just bad. I don't want to give anything away but in short it was bad.
Do yourself a favor and wait for this to come out online. At least that way you can turn it off once you have had enough. I had high hopes for this film. I wanted it to be awesome. I was hoping the decline in the MCU would have ended or at least taken a break, but sadly I was let down.
I am done paying movie ticket prices for Marvel films. I will just wait for them to hit streaming until Disney fixes Marvel.

Now we have to think of ways to FORGET these horrible images that will surely hunt us for a while. Not acceptable if it was on me this movie would be down immmediately, also this is incorrect 16 years who the hell let that happen I would not let any young person watch this.

I mean This movie is at par with love and thunder which was one of the worse MCU movie. How people are loving this is beyond my understanding. Maybe the Disney and GUNN PR are making normal people believe that this is great but trust me guys. You'll be disappointed by this....
To many cringe dialogue and that forced emotional scenes which doesn't hit me with anything.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Last Chance for MCU.
For me, this could've been MCU's saving grace. Having the last bunch of movies be utterly terrible, I thought I'd be able to count on this movie to bring it back up. No. It didn't. I really wanted to love this movie, but the sheer stupidity within the movie made that really hard.

I love Rocket, but had very little care for his origin story. Drax is still hilarious, and made me laugh, but the rest of the movie was just too ridiculous.

They introduced Adam Warlock and he was a bumbling idiot. That's not how he's supposed to be. How many idiotic characters are there going to be in the MCU. None of them have that seriousness that balances out the shift of comedy and drama anymore.

They built up something incredibly amazing with the MCU just to burn it down.

There was nearly nothing that entertained me the way I'm used to from MCU movies.

Sure, Rocket's past is sad, but too much time was spent telling that story.

It just felt like they took a bunch of ideas, threw them into a bucket, pulled a few out and made a story out of it.

MCU lost a loyal fan, today. I'm sick of spending my money and time rushing to see these movies and they don't cater to the fans anymore. These movies really dropped so hard from what they used to be. I lost any care for the characters that I had in prior years.

Moving, funny, and highly entertaining. Best MCU film since 'Endgame.' James Gunn loves his character, and it definitely shows. Had a great time watching this! Almost cried during the final sequence. Finally, a Marvel movie with a heart.

Best movie of the trilogy. Dealt with some heavy emotional trauma but centered around belonging and family. The staple of this trilogy. Beautiful ending. I’m going to miss them.
