This film had decent start with great atmosphere that falls apart with a cliche twist during the second half. Do not go into the movie based off of the trailer because it is totally different.

It's a psychological thriller with a twist that was obvious way before its reveal. The 2 boys (real twins) have a wonderful interaction that's continually compelling, but the payoff, although slightly disturbing, lacks punch. In German with subtitles.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved Naomi Watts performance but the movie is poorly executed. It's quickly obvious that only Elias interacts with the world. It couldve been polished a bit. Supposingly the audience has seen Sixth Sense, The Others and more... The 'fake' mother plot doesn't work out either. And being so clumsy hiding the strings, one expects a final twist. That never comes. And what's with the premonitions...… Expand
