It is exactly the kind of movie you would expect from someone who received a pardon from Trump. Dinesh never met a fact he couldn't spin or just ignore. Before I get into why I give this a 10, I bet my life most if not all of the negative reviewers have not seen the entirety of this movie. That statement applies to both the critics and user reviews. That statement applies to both the critics and user reviews. Their ignorance and bigoted beliefs default to alt-right/white supremacy, racism, etc, etc, when it is in fact the exact opposite. I can see why "liberals" (aka fringe lefties) greatly despise this film despite not even watching it. This film is a direct threat to the hateful liberal agenda by being fact based, not emotional based therefore it is quite difficult to establish a connection with these types of people.

Regarding the movie, you can immediately tell D'Souza is a scholar because he is well spoken, presents his case, shows facts to backup all of his statements, and above all tells you things that are vehemently frowned upon in education and MSM (the truth). The shear amount of exposure this film unveils is shocking to say the least and that contradicts all that is taught and echoed today.

I am an independent who was once liberal, but I cannot tolerate literal hatred and racism from the left any longer. It is despicable and disgusting! The movie does a great job of presenting evidence for this thesis, surveying the history of the party all the way back to Andrew Jackson. The professional critics' reviews are uniformly negative. But I notice that not one of these dismissive critics has addressed the historical facts raised in the movie. Their bias is so pronounced as render the rest of their reviews meaningless. If you want an original, eye-opening perspective on American history, told from the perspective of a Constitutional conservative, someone who has studied the subject in depth and whose points remain unchallenged by the dismissive critics, then go see this movie. Of course it runs contrary to leftist propaganda, of which we are bombarded in so many ways throughout our day by media and entertainment and now even the "news"....this movie brings a much needed and rather convincing perspective to our history and clear warning signs for the future should we not heed the movie maker's warning.… Expand

Woodrow Wilson is treated as the racist Democrat that he was. Good to see a documentary that shows his true colors.
If you still don’t understand Trump, Brexit, and all of the recent European elections that have put socialists out to pasture, then this movie will be a primer to understanding the freedom/ anti-collectivist wave. If you already get it, this movie is fun.
To be clear, I am a Libertarian, not a Republican. I write this review because the movie was fun to watch and fairly accurate. Criticism of this movie claims it to be historically inaccurate, but I see no critiques that identify specific historic inaccuracies.… Expand

All you're doing is the same repulsive deflecting **** that left-wingers do when they say the brutal far-left governments of the 20th century were actually right-wing.

Each European nation's fascist movement were comprised of former conservatives/former conservative voters. The NSDAP (Nazi Party) gained popularity at the expense of Germany's other right-wing parties in the early 1930's. The German People's Party, German National People's Party, and most splinter right-wing parties saw almost all of their support transfer to the Nazis.

D'Souza knows this and apparently most reviewers know little about the real history of this country anyway. If you are looking to challenge your critical thinking skills you have to look for input you won't get inside the bubble you are in. AS those in the walk-away movement continue to testify, they have challenged themselves and found that the left has lied to them.
