This is the best Marvel movie I have ever seen! Period! It was bloody, gory, violent, and absolutely hilarious! Ryan Reynolds is absolutely perfect as Deadpool, at least he was better this time than he was the last time he played Deadpool!

Despite other reviewers opinions, there are a few witty jokes. Even with it's outlandish premise the Characters are well fleshed out and realistic both in reality and in their universe. Don't expect shakespeare, but it is pretty funny. I'd almost dock it a point for the cliche plotline, but I have to return it for it staying true to the comics and being unafraid of the R rating. Please do not bring children, teenagers are fine, but not a young child, especially as some theaters are running a special preview deadpool ad telling them Santa isn't real and admonishing your parenting. It brings a lot of things into it that a 12 (PG-13) rated film would not be able incorporate into it e.g. gore and a lot of profanity. I gave this film a rating of 10 but it is 9 on its own. I just gave it that extra mark because of my personal enjoyment of the film. I would not recommend this film for people 13 and but it's not my place to tell people what to do. so three thing which make this film amazing are: Deadpool the character himself. The simple but effective narrative. The dedication Ryan Reynolds and the crew put into the film. Expand

Just from the trailers, you can tell that this movie is not for everyone, and definitely not for kids, despite the fact that parents were bringing their kids in to see it during my showing of it.

Starting from the moment that the opening credits begin, I could tell that this was the Deadpool movie that I have been waiting to see for years. Ryan Reynolds has completely redeemed how the character was completely mishandled in the Wolverine movie. This movie earned his hard R, with over-the-top violence, sex, nudity, swearing all over the place, and a complete shattering of the fourth wall. The humor may be a bit sophomoric at times and some of the younger audience might not get all the pop culture references, but that's Deadpool for ya. And I loved every moment of it.

Ryan Reynolds nails it as deadpool, it what's probably the most faithful comic book adaptation ever made (in terms of accurately translating the character from the pages). All the performances are spot on, TJ Miller is great as Weasel. For a first time director, Tim Miller has put a hell of an achievement on his resume. The movie is hilarious, the action sequences are awesome (especially considering the movie was made dirt cheap, well as hollywood movies go) and even manages to make the love story between Wade and Vanessa work (the Valentine movie advertising was actually right on the money). I know giving a 10 on Metacritic doesn't really mean much but in this case the movie deserves it. Not that it's perfect, but it just does so much right that those imperfections are forgivable. It's the experience that counts and it that area Deadpool delivers in spades. Expand

Granted that it's not really a Superhero movie because Deadpool is the merc with a mouth. For having a low budget and amazing CGI I don't see how the movie is bad. The whole point of Deadpool is him talking smack and breaking the fourth wall. Was it a good choice that they made the movie rated R? Yes. Why? because your taking a comic that isn't meant for kids and making it into a movie. I'm not sure if most of the people that left a negative review ready any of the Deadpool comics at all, but what I do know is that Marvel knew what they was doing, they knew that if they take certain elements from the comics and put them in the movie then it would be a success. Would the movie been better if Deadpool had his "gun blazing" moment? Yes, but leaving the guns in the car would be something that Deadpool would do. Deadpool joke are something he would say in the comics, especially when it comes to pissing someone off. Deadpool is a good movie that Marvel produced and for them to yet again do the "we have a squeal just wait until all the credits are over" thing but instead put it as a fourth wall braking moment that Deadpool would do in his comics. It's betterThought that Fox would **** this movie up after what they did to Deadpool in X-men Origins Wolverine? well, you were wrong cause fox got Deadpool right! It's one of the greatest comic book movies you will ever see in your life. It's better than all of the X-men movies combined. I loved it how they decided to make this rated R cause in the comics, Deadpool isn't exactly kid friendly. The movie stayed VERY true to the material and that made my nerdy mind happy. Ryan Reynolds is funny and badass as Deadpool and i think he was born to play the character. The action is so gruesomely awesome. There's legs being sliced, there's a bunch of bad guys being shot with just 12 bullets, there's cars crashing into each other and there's so much blood! The humor is just funny, especially when it's provided by Deadpool, every line he says, it's funny. I had absolute no problems with this movie cause it's a comic book movie done right. I look forward to seeing more of Deadpool on the big screen in the future. Expand

Self awareness on film is nothing new, but no other film has taken the concept to this level. For Deadpool the stuff that happens on his world is just as important as the stuff that happens on hours. He is making sure that you follow and feel his story while you laugh your ass off every second of the film.

Ryan Reynolds was born to play this role, and he's hysterically spot on with it. And the fact this was made on a shoestring budget compared to most of its peers was just shocking. His world comes crashing down when evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) tortures, disfigures and transforms him into Deadpool. The rogue experiment leaves Deadpool with accelerated healing powers and a twisted sense of humor. With help from mutant allies Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Deadpool uses his new skills to hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life. When I read theI had never seen or heard about Deadpool before the movie was announced. I later got to know there was a game on this too, but I thought it must be just any regular superhero game like the non-Rocksteady, non-Insomniac ones. When I read the reviews of the movie that said it's outrageously hilarious, I thought it's because American humour is very bad so even mediocre jokes are funny to them. Also it was 2016 so "abusing funny" was something on a rise (AIB, TVF, BB Ki Vines, CarryMinati etc). Thus I completely ignored this movie. As such I wasn't into superhero stuff so I wasn't even gonna notice it anyway. Then one day we were going on a trip so I saw this movie in a flight. And now I simply love it.

Deadpool was the first X-Men movie I ever watched from beginning to end. I didn't even know anything about the X-Men franchise. And it's a good thing this movie barely borrows anything from its predecessor. There are only easter eggs spread here and there. It's all clarified by Deadpool himself when he asks Colossus where everyone is at Xavier's School. Colossus says they are all out on a vacation, to which Deadpool replies it's a lie, and that they are not here because this is a low budget movie. By just mentioning that dialogue it makes it very clear what kind of a sense of humour this movie has.

Deadpool continuously breaks the fourth wall. He talks to the audience, mentions that this is just a movie, references Ryan Reynolds' previous movies like Green Lantern (please don't make my costume green, or animated!) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He even roasts himself in a scene after his face gets disfigured, where he says that only good looking people have a chance in this world, for example Ryan Reynolds is famous only because of his good looks and not because of his acting. There's also a scene where he breaks a fourth wall and gives a flashback and then breaks the fourth wall in that also, so he says he broke the sixteenth wall.

The sense of humour of every character is intense. Dopindar kidnaps his cousin Bandhu so that he can marry Gita, which he had done on Deadpool's suggestion. The scene where Deadpool forgets his weapons in Dopindar's car almost made me fall from my seat laughing. There was also Colossus who was a stooge the whole time, and Negasonic who mostly completed the jokes. Same goes for Ajax and Vanessa also.

The action scenes are also very well choreographed. For some reason it's so much fun to see Deadpool fight. It was easily better than any superhero action that has been shown in any X-Men movie (other than the Quicksilver ones). In the beginning it was so funny when he shows the drawing of Francis to everyone and asks them if they have seen him. I really liked that part where he had numbered all his bullets and shoots one guy who runs out of bullets.

The story is also very good. The way of narrating it is something only suitable for a Deadpool movie. It gives the complete origin story of Deadpool and also fills in with comic relief over the otherwise grim story. There is also a heavy amount of character development, as Wade Wilson goes from being a carefree guy to having to leave Vanessa after he got cancer, and then trying to get back to her but thinking she will be horrified to see him, and then finally accepting who he is.

Personally Deadpool is one of my favourite superhero movies. It was my favourite back when I saw it, but now things are different because, you know, I saw the sequel. I'd surely recommend anyone to watch it even if they know nothing about the X-Men movies.

Funny, entertaining, and refreshing !!

The first thing I noticed was how inventive the storytelling is. The film throws you into the action from the first moment (literally: the very first moment) and then it goes back and forth in brilliant and unexpected ways to slowly unspool the story of this insane - but oddly charming - antihero. Flashbacks and fast-forwards can be annoying as hell, but when done right, they can help render even a somewhat simple story fresh and exciting. And that's exactly how Deadpool felt to me right from the start: like a fresh (if somewhat dirty) jolt of energy.

The action itself is beautifully designed, employing playful visuals and using pretty much every camera technique available; it never feels repetitive and the pacing is close to perfection. But, and that was probably the key to me liking the film so much, there's a beating heart underneath all the action and carnage, and that has a lot to do with how brilliantly Ryan Reynolds portrays the character and the great chemistry he has with co-star Morena Baccarin. What came as a complete surprise to me was how unabashedly romantic Deadpool is. The love story in this film is probably the most sincere I've ever seen in a superhero movie and it gives the film a strong emotional core which so many of these movies lack.

The humor, which I initially feared would just be non-stop juvenile wisecracks and soon become distracting, also works surprisingly well. Not every line or every joke lands - but that's the beauty of this character: they don't really need to. Deadpool can't help himself; as long as he's able to breathe he'll crack wise and make fun of himself and those around him. It's a clinical condition; he's not a stand-up comedian whose jokes need to land: he's a madman (albeit a very entertaining one) and the comedy in his case is born out of tragedy.

Yes, This is what it looks like when filmmakers take risks!!

This movie is spectacular in superhero movies outside of Avenger movies, it has the fighting and comedy that is not for everyone but for anyone who is okay with over the top comedy. Ryan Reynolds is gold in this as Deadpool.

And particularly since First Class is the only great non-Bryan Singer X Men film. But they did it. Somehow, Fox loosened up enough to let a real creative vision through and avoid another Fantastic Four situation.

This movie is what a Deadpool movie can, and should, be. My only real complaint is the lack of a compelling villain and seemingly no connection to Weapon X or Stryker. Fox didn't seem to want to explore the X Men universe in the movie - possibly because of the timeline shenanigans and not knowing what their present day X Men-verse looks like (Apocalypse is in the 80s)

It is intended for adults, please dont take your kids to this... It happens far too often and it has caused too much controversy because people think all superhero films should be "family friendly"

Deadpool is an anti-hero, not a superhero. He is not mentally stable, nor is he sane. This movie has a ton of adult content that is not even close to considered acceptable for childrens eyes. A family brought 10 children to the theater I went to, day after opening day... My friends and I were wondering what kind of parent thought it was a good idea to bring them?

If you dont know who deadpool is, or if you don't like deadpool, this movie will come across as average.

I can't say it enough, this movie is hilarious. Deadpool has always been a funny guy. Thanks to Ryan Reynold's excellent comedic timing and perfect portrayal of the character to go alongside the razor sharp writing, I was laughing out loud constantly throughout.

It's not just the portrayal of Deadpool that's great either. Everyone does well and FOX's X-Men universe finally gives some respectable portrayals of their non-Wolverine characters. Colossus is finally done justice.

With it's constant ability to not take itself too seriously and make reference after reference, you can't help but laugh. Especially if you're clued in on the X-Men movies and Ryan Reynold's career. It is also surprisingly adept at inserting actual emotion and genuine romance at the right moments. Mix that with the fantastic action, albeit a little too heavy on the CGI, and you've got the more original superhero flicks to come out recently. A more adult alternative to the genre.

While it does follow the typical origin story, it does so in a way that feels exciting. Like I said, it's not entirely a superhero movie. It's emphasis on laughs and unexpected romance give it an edge in the genre. Not to mention, it's just really darn hilarious. This is, without a single doubt, the Deadpool movie we wanted.

First off the humor..oh my gosh my humor was great,Ryan Reynolds is there perfect choice even before this movie we knew that(X-Men Origins Wolverine) and the dude brings the character to life with his portrayal .Even from the opening credits this movie starts to make you laugh and the first 10 minutes of this movie has the is best opening scene in a superhero origin story because origin stories are usually slow paced then improve to a faster pace, but this movie starts off with a fast pace and even when Deadpool isn't shown you never get bored because of the crude, rude humor,one-liners and characters in this movie.

The rest of the cast's performances were good as well as the chemistry between Ryan's Wade Wilson and Morena Baccarin's Claire was great, you bought the romance these two characters had, cared for their relation as it was a weird and odd relationship.Wade's Friend Weasel was also decent comic relief and the two X-Men characters Colossus and Megasonic teenage warhead(yeah) fit perfectly into this movie. The villain Ajax portrayed by Ed Skrien was actually good, this guy was a generic bad guy, but worked for this movie as he was a threat to Deadpool and people around him(and the guy was an a**hole).

What made this movie different from other superhero movies is the R-rating, at first i wasn't sure about it because from the trailers i thought they would go over the top with the R-rating, but i was wrong as this movie was better because of it, the gore, violence and of-course language was right for this movie even with some very EXPLICIT scenes it never feels out of place. The action was great, again the R-rating makes the action better and how can you not love a movie that opens up with an action sequence and one more thing to point out is even if this movie was part comedy it had some small scenes where the movie grew dark and i was really surprised by this because it fitted well and the intensity was amazing.

Now the BAD, this movie had a few bad things about it like we all know Deadpool isn't a superhero more antihero because the man is a clear and there was this whole subplot in the movie where they tried to make Deadpool be a proper hero but you know it couldn't work as the subplot was just unnecessary and pretty obvious also i pointed out that the movie has good humor there are some scenes whereby the humor feels out of place at specially whereby the movie is supposed to feel intense it just doesn't work. Then there are some annoying filler moments whereby they tried to rub some humor but just felt unnecessary and of-course with a small budget comes some bad CGI at times, but rather than that this movie is perfect.

Deadpool is the perfect origin story for the character as the movie is funny, action packed, weird and just fun,the studio made up for that monstrosity in X-Men Origins Wolverine(they shut his mouth),didn't go over the top with the R-rating and the movie was just fun despite the small budget.Superhero fans with love this movie and non-superhero fans will have a good time-BRING ON DEADPOOL 2.

This is easily the funniest superhero movie ever, as Deadpool throws one liner after one liner and they all hit pretty damn well. The action is super fun too, finally giving the genre some blood to go with the action. My only con preventing it from being a 10 is Ajax, who falls a bit short as a villain. As with any movie, it comes down to acting, writing, sound, special effects etc.

Acting. Loved it. The characters were perfect for the roles they were designed to be. The acting was spot on for the nature of the movie, the jokes were done in the spirit of the character and the storyarc.

Special Effects They were good. The budget wasn't the highest, but they made a good go of it.

Sound Also great.

Humour. Loved it. The jokes were well done for the character and what Deadpool is supposed to be. Ryan Reynolds delivered as he should have, the 4th wall was broken in true Deadpool fashion.

Budget. It needed a larger budget, but as an R rated movie it was seen as a bit of a gamble.

This brings me to the fact it's R rated. The gore, the violence, the jokes... FINALLY something I can laugh at and get behind. None of the soft hands that deliver most other movies in this genre.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie.

Finally an R rated superhero film that doesn't try to earn the R rating but rather set out to tell the best Deadpool story possible within the limited budget that they had and still managed to create something doesn't look cheap.
A big part of the success is Ryan Reynolds going balls to the wall with his humor and passion for the character, this has easily made up for the travesty that was Green Lantern and Wolverine Origins.

The 4th wall breaking / adult humor can easily offend those who are not initiated with the Deadpool character but for me this is simply one of the best superhero films in a long time after feeling burnt out by the last few Marvel films.

Simply put, Deadpool is not a kids film and thankfully it never will be.

Without contest the best Comicbook based movie of all time. Plenty of love for the source material and even 2nd fiddles like Colossus were note perfect adaptions of the character.

The only criticism is that some of non-Deadpool sequences are pretty slow, but any scene with Wade post-Deadpool transformation is pure gold.

Though some of the fourth wall breaks might not be nearly as funny for someone not realizing what's being satirized, but for Deadpool fan you'll love it. For a comic book movie enthusist you'll know what he's talking about and love it.

If you don't watch many comic book movies, some of the references will probably fly over your head and may impact your enjoyment, though the same applies to the Deadpool of the comics as well so even that is still a proper adaption.

The story features love and revenge, with well-paced flash-backs to the origin story of Wade Wilson as he becomes Deadpool. He is the 'merc with a mouth', and gaining his powers does little to change his personality; he is a selfish and damaged man who and hides behind his sarcasm. Both in and out of costume, he brings laughs as he chats up friends, enemies, a taxi driver and the audience. Deadpool is no typical movie adaptation of a comic book character. The film unapolegetically targets the young male demographic, and is nowhere near family-friendly like Spiderman or The Avengers. Deadpool, which is very R rated, is intended for mature viewers who enjoy extremely immature comedy in addition to over the top violence. It's not for kids, except the ones with 'cool parents' of course.
Director, Tim Miller, who has worked on the blockbuster video game series, Mass Effect, and one of my favorite films, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, strongly impresses in his first feature film. The CGI effects are well-utilized and Deadpool's signature style of breaking the fourth wall is a frequent treat. The plot and pacing provide a steady stream of fun with no lull's in the action. The film has its common themes and cliches like any, but makes fun of them to viewers as they occur, turning anything generic into a laugh. Be prepared for a vulgar, perverted and crude joke filled journey of over-the-top violence. If nudity or atypical sex scenes offend you, then beware. The satirical humor can be dark and twisted similar to South Park at its most extreme. Not all the comedic dialog lands flush, but the creatively colorful language from Deadpool and friends keeps the laughter coming. Both the visual and sound effects were fantastic, and the music fit well.
Ryan Reynolds feels perfectly cast as the quick-witted anti-hero. He is completely believable as the jokester, and shows his diversity in the more emotional scenes. Ed Skrein stars as the antagonist/villain, Ajax. Although the character is a prototypical British baddie, his back and forth with Reynolds is great. Ajax is regularly backed up by the ass-kicking Angel Dust, played by Mixed Martial Arts star, Gina Carano. Actor T.J. Miller provides comedic support as the best friend, Weasle. Morena Baccarin, who plays the role of Wilson's girlfriend, Vanessa, impresses in a silly and fun role in stark contrast to her work in V and Homeland.
When Reynolds is Deadpool, he has another pair of supporting characters in the form of X-Men, Collossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The former is played by Stefan Kapicic and Greg LaSalle, who split the work between voice and physical acting respectively. The Latter, who I'll call NTW, is Brianna Hildebrand, who didn't even know what role she was auditioning for nor what her powers would look like on screen, but pulls it off well.
This movie is not for the easily offended, and not to be taken seriously. Entertainment value is what counts, and Deadpool has it in droves. It oozes originality from the advertising campaign all the way to the opening credits and post-film teaser. I can't think of another movie that entertained so consistently. Consumers have already cast their votes with their wallets, as Deadpool took in about $130 million this opening weekend, slicing up the previous box office record set by The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 by over $15 million. I recommend you view this film and see what the buzz is about, assuming you are an adult with a sense of humor. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for the corruption of any innocent souls that may result from watching Deadpool.

First of all, the 15(uk) certificate is totally justified. Without it, this film would not work. Without it, boundaries would not be crossed, blood would not be shed, violence would not happen.

From the off the story is told from a first person view, often breaking the fourth wall. None of the "2 months earlier..." text or anything like that, the story flows, with the action slowing down and breaking into a flashback, which is such a good (and original) way of doing an origin story.

The story does a good job of introducing us to the main characters, and secondary characters are also given more than the one line. However, the bad guy is a little bit one dimensional, with no idea of why he is the bad guy.

Personally, I loved this film - it was a welcome change from the usual Marvel origin story thanks to the rating, the character of Deadpool is now one of my favourites.

ThisNo offense to the professionals who do this for a living, but the critics are dead wrong with this. The only two ways you can possibly NOT enjoy this movie are if you take it too seriously or if you don't have a broad sense of humor. This movie's marketing campaign did a pretty good job of communicating what kind of movie this was going to be before anyone stepped inside a theater to see it. The humor is crass and irreverent, yes, but that doesn't make it any less funny. Anyone who says this movie is gratuitously violent has never watched a gratuitously violent movie before. It's violence that's on par for a typical R-rated film, but it hardly strays into Quentin Tarantino territory. There isn't a dull moment in this film and the story - as silly as it is - flows quick and doesn't get in the way of what most people came to see - the humor and action. Deadpool nails both of those marks dead center and is easily the best movie Marvel has put out in some time. Expand

Its raunchy, its wild and its ridiculously funny the whole way through. It still does not beat X-Men Days of Future Past but the film is at least in my top 3 Fox Marvel films so far. Its so self aware. No one is safe from the jokes even Ryan Reynolds himself. Ryan Reynold's has worked so hard to get a screen version of the true Deadpool character and all his hard work truely paid off. Reynolds is Deadpool now. There is no doubting, it's just like Hugh Jackman for Wolverine. This movie has romance that suits Deadpool and is really believable. The side characters are great although I did wish I would've saw more of TJ Miller. I thought he was starting to get so funny in one scene towards the end and then you don't see him again in the film. I hate to say it but there is really nothing out there like this. Remember when you go to see this film that it only took 50 million dollars to make. THATS OUTSTANDING. The action is so well filmed and although it is over the top its not really to the point where it becomes cheesy. Who knows how many knockoffs we'll be getting now but now is a good time to be a Deadpool fan. Expand

Luckily they learned there lesson and have made up for there mistakes. The movie has all the elements that a Deadpool movie needs: Great Humor,Gorey Action and that little pinch of Boobs. Action scenes come together in a perfectly orchestrated bloody slaughter, No other way to really put it. Things will happen that leave you speechless. The humor is also so perfect they know what was done wrong in the past and they fixed there wrong, Poking fun at things like a CGI suit, Sewing his mouth shut and a few others. It's also nice to see Marvel let them go with a R rating. Well watching Deadpool I never really felt much a dull moment or lost interest, It keeps you entertained from start to finish and leaves you wanting more. Expand

Ryan Reynolds is fantastic as Deadpool. He makes you care for the guy behind the mask and he captures the comedic brilliance of the Deadpool character. Everybody else does a good job, don't think there was a bad performance anywhere in the film.

This film won't be for everybody but if you know anything about Deadpool and enjoy the character on any level then this film does him justice.

It’s very funny, very well acted, very well written and the action scenes and the practical effects are pretty damn good. It’s a bit short on it’s plot, but it doesn’t outstay it’s welcome and while this film won’t convert anyone to Deadpool who wasn’t there in the first place it’s a treat for any fans that have waited to see this film made, with all the vulgarity, swearing and 4th Wall being well and truly broken. Finally Ryan Reynolds gets the good comic movie that he deserves. There is a couple of issues with it, but there weren’t enough to sink the movie for me and I would really recommend seeing it at the cinema because there is a lot to marvel about it. It’s not the greatest Superhero ever made, but it’s a damn good one and a very funny one at that which kept me laughing from start to finish and if this is an omen for the year to come, bring on Batman V Superman, and Captain America Civil War already.

Go and see this one in the cinema, but I would also recommend if you are one of the people that wait for it to come out on DVD you might well be within your right because I suspect there will be an extended cut

Deadpool is one of my favorite comic book movies of all time. Ryan Reynolds was born to play the Merc with the Mouth. Combine that with a great script, laugh out loud humor, and unapologetic brutality, this movie is an absolute blast to watch.

Hilarious superhero action flick, and a welcome breath of fresh air in a genre that at times takes itself far too seriously (e.g. the recent DC movies). Marvel hits another home run.

After the abysmal Fan4stic; I was a bit nervous about this movie. The marketing was top notch but I dared to hope that the film lived up to the marketing. I couldn't be happier to say that Deadpool finally has delivered the Deadpool fans have been wanting. Not sewing his mouth shut was an excellent start.

The movie earns its R rating with a copious amount of nudity, gratuitous violence and wanton profanity. Reynolds was born to play this character. The film opens by treating you to one of the best opening credit sequences ever. The film also manages a great balance of action, exposition and 4th wall self awareness. In fact its the 4th wall breaks that offer some of the films more entertaining moments. Reynolds even pokes fun at himself as well as his former movies like Green Lantern and other Marvel properties and indeed Fox themselves.

The fact that Fox took the risk to make this film as they did should be applauded. It also bears mentioning that the supporting cast are good as well. Colossus is incredibly likable as is his young trainee Negasonic Teenage Warhead. My one criticism is that the villains themselves weren't all that interesting and were pretty obscure.

The movie also has one of the best cameos of Stan Lee ever! If you love Deadpool you owe it to yourself to see this film. This was made for the fans. Also be sure to stick around through the end credits as well!

In Deadpool, Wade Wilson hunts the man who gave him an accelerated healing factor but also a scarred physical appearance.
I liked this movie a lot, it's probably up there on my X-Men movie ranking. Though my favorites are still First Class and Days of Future Past.
Ryan Reynolds is P E R F E C T on the role of Deadpool. He has comedic talent and is very good at acting. The jokes he makes on the movie are straight up hilarious, and the puns are just as clever.
This is definitely as good as a Deadpool movie was ever going to be. Though it was clear they had a small budget, they still made the most of it and nothing looks fake at all. The action is amazingly shot and superbly done. There's no shaky cam or whatever that thing is that other cheap action movies do, here is just great stunt work mixed in with great visuals and hilarious one liners all around. The fourth wall breaks are genius and well though out. They had great timing and were actually funny.
While the overall story might be a bit formulaic, still all the other amazing things just surpass that and make us forget the abomination that was X-Men Origins.

Not only is Deapool a wonderfully acted superhero movie with a demented heart but also a sort of game changer that this genre needed for quite a while. With its extremely simple story, Deadpool is what most superhero movies should strive for. Instead of slapping us with end-of-the-world events, these movies need to focus on presenting us with a cohesive story that can work well on its own.

And yes, Ryan Reynolds kills it.

Anyway, Deadpool is a awesome film directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds as the one and only Deadpool. Now, as this film really doesn't feel like it has a script, that really doesn't matter, why have a script when you have constant and unexpected 4th wall breaks to tell the story right? Maybe, there is a story to the film between Deadpool and his fiance where unexpectedly it gets tied into Deadpool's plan for revenge on the important Francis who turned him into what he is. I hope you all realize that this film is undoubtedly funny as **** from it's LMFAO moments like all the 4th wall breaks, the cast was really difficult to recognize other than Ryan Reynolds, TJ Miller, and Gina Carano, the CGI in the film was hardcore **** for a film with a small budget, which is surprising, and don't worry people who can't handle really flashy lights, this film is ok for you to watch, also don't go seeing this movie when you don't know what Deadpool is, cause if you do that and walk out on the movie, you just wasted your money. The movie's soundtrack was perfect enough. The length of the movie couldn't be any longer or shorter as all of the crazy **** that happens right before your eyes happens for your own enjoyment. Honestly, I have never seen a film so spontaneous and surprisingly random through bloody and Gorey gunfights which are insane, along with a great lead character. Deadpool is something you will never see like this ever again. Expand
