However, what I didn't know was that that's kind of the point of it all. "Bodies Bodies Bodies" is a disarmingly caustic critique of modern sociological phenomena disguised as a sort of whodunit for the gen-z crowd. Even the very final reveal holds true to the overall thematic content at hand, suggesting that the real "killers" at hand aren't simply murderers lurking in the shadows, but our own shallowness, our own lack of authenticity, our own weaponized insecurities that are our undoing as a collective youth. Never thought this movie would have me thinking this deeply, but here we are. Again, I was really caught off guard by this and, while it may not be the best horror movie I've seen from A24, it's certainly worth the trip to the theater. Expand

very enjoyable and rewatchable.

do people hate it cause they are rich kids? i don't think the movie likes rich kids very much either. I'm baffled by the political responses to this movie.

recommend.

I really enjoyed the movie".It seemed Who killed a boy?"I was wondering Who did it! You will find the answer at the end of the movie. The actresses spoke tons of F-bombs. Kids can't watch it! Don't watch it at home, kids!

I am shocked at the low ratings this film has gotten. It is a fun satire and a great way to spend a hot summer afternoon. The acting was pitch perfect, and the director did a fantastic job.

Really fun movie with a cool allegory about the social media generation. Great kills mixed with funny, pointed commentary. The people who didn’t like this are part of the problem.

Another banger from A24 while also being surprisingly hilarious. This is a very engaging movie from start to end. This is a very engaging movie from start to end. The plot moves pretty quickly and doesn’t take too much time to stop and do other things that aren’t fully relevant to the story minus one or two scenes. All the characters are really fun and interesting to follow. Some get much more screen time than others but their interactions were hilarious. Every actor does a great job but Rachel Sennott was the major stand out here. She gave easily the best performance in the film and was definitely the funniest character in the whole film. It was actually kind of fun to watch a movie where every character is a jerk. The story and script was probably the best thing about this movie. It felt unique in how it took a very conventional story and flipped it on its head with a Gen Z twist. It’s a fun little parody of Gen Z while also treating the characters like real people with real emotions and not bland and basic shells that resemble characters for the sake of a cheap joke. The ending may throw some people off but I thought it was great. The dramatic reveal about what happened and why this all started was very out of left field and it worked very well for what the film was trying to do. If you’re a fan of A24 movies or want a fun murder mystery film then go check this out. Expand

The Review below is a lie. This is a great and stylistic satire on Gen Z and the Slasher Genre. Rachel Sennott needs as Oscar for her role as Alice. The concept is fun and nearly every joke lands. It is very funny, and if you want a slasher with a twist then here you go because genuinely speaking this isn't a typical slasher the killer is more metaphorical and humurous, it isn't what you expect and I doubt the person below actually watched the damn movie. The entire cast is great, all the characters are these rich **** in their own way with Rachel Sennott as Alice being the funniest of the bunch. Does it reinvent the wheel? No but it's an entertaining film that's creative and funny.

Very entertaining, tense, and hard to predict. Intentionally aggravates you as the characters all refuse to act rationally. Awesome ending.

The ending makes the movie. Otherwise there’s just a lot of annoying arguing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Gonna have to say I enjoyed it. Despite being low on a list of a24 movies I read. Didn't see the ending coming. And, any movie I can see Pete Davidson die in is a good one.
All of the characters are unrelatable garbage and so every death was like, yeah, cool... Bye...

Excelente!

The name alone is off-putting. Plus I'm not a Pete Davidson fan. When I finished the film, I came to realize this film is actually pretty intelligently written. It's pretty much a mockery of late millennial and gen z culture. Their obsession with social media and their online presence. How most of them are fatalistic and completely devoid of empathy for others. The characters go into self-preservation mode when they realize a killer is around knocking them off one-by-one. How the story unfolds is pretty ingenious and I love the ending. A solid film and worth watching once if you like dark humor, mixed with a slasher horror flick, and a lot of cynicism. Expand

That's one of those types of movies where if you don't stay until the end, you will not get the point.

I've got to be honest. My girlfriend told me it was a horror movie, and I was expecting that. Throughout the plot, I was getting upset because I didn't feel any usual sensations from the genre. In the end, everything makes sense, almost instantly.

It's a satire of the genre and a realistic portrayal of new generations. After watching it, I believe the best way to describe it is 'comedy - without the characters knowing it's funny'.
