The film, which is like Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None told through an Instagram filter, is hilariously and cleverly of the moment, embracing the digital age and the types of people it has generated, although it may alienate an older audience. There are many influences — “Mean Girls,” “Gossip Girl,” “Scream,” to name a few — but "Bodies Bodies Bodies" takes all of these influences and creates an original spin for the social media age. Reijn and DeLappe don’t seem interested in preying on real fears so much as laughingly confirming any suspicions that yes, your friends secretly talk smack about you. Bodies Bodies Bodies is a fun ride through those well-founded anxieties, but as the end credits roll, some viewers may still be waiting for more of a punch — or a better punchline. Read full review

The movie is never funny, scary, spooky, or interesting. Bakalova and Davidson are trying their best but cannot buoy the picture. Badly lit, poorly shot, and sporting even worse dialogue, the film offers nothing to anyone, though it thinks it has something important to say. Pretentious and dull is the worst combination. Really fun movie with a cool allegory about the social media generation. Great kills mixed with funny, pointed commentary. The people who didn’t like this are part of the problem.

Another banger from A24 while also being surprisingly hilarious. This is a very engaging movie from start to end. The plot moves pretty quickly and doesn’t take too much time to stop and do other things that aren’t fully relevant to the story minus one or two scenes. The plot moves pretty quickly and doesn’t take too much time to stop and do other things that aren’t fully relevant to the story minus one or two scenes. All the characters are really fun and interesting to follow. Some get much more screen time than others but their interactions were hilarious. Every actor does a great job but Rachel Sennott was the major stand out here. She gave easily the best performance in the film and was definitely the funniest character in the whole film. It was actually kind of fun to watch a movie where every character is a jerk. The story and script was probably the best thing about this movie. It felt unique in how it took a very conventional story and flipped it on its head with a Gen Z twist. It’s a fun little parody of Gen Z while also treating the characters like real people with real emotions and not bland and basic shells that resemble characters for the sake of a cheap joke. The ending may throw some people off but I thought it was great. The dramatic reveal about what happened and why this all started was very out of left field and it worked very well for what the film was trying to do. If you’re a fan of A24 movies or want a fun murder mystery film then go check this out.… Expand

A film that has good intentions, a simple story, but that didn't impact me, maybe because I realized the Plot Twist early. Good art direction, music and cast performances. Unfortunately it lacked a less obvious script

It’s fun and stylish and quick, but there’s just *something* lacking about it. Also, and it’s the film’s goal, all the characters are straight garbage humans.

A24, que manera de caer tan bajo cuando tus películas siempre son de gran calidad como mínimo. Como máximo es una película entretenida para pasar un buen rato y la trama es interesante si sólo buscas divertirte.
