IMMACULATE VISUAL ALBUM. Absolutely stunning visuals but that’s to be expected with an artist such as Beyonce. She yet again raises the bar only for herself as no one else in the music industry puts in this level of mastery into their work.

BLACK IS KING is aIn her newest visual album, Beyoncé speaks on what it means to be Black. To be Black is to be regal, to be powerful, to be non-conventional, to be beautiful; To be everything that society says Black people cannot be. BLACK IS KING is a celebration of Black and African culture, history, and origins. In her singular style Beyoncé turns Black-ness, something marginalized by white society, into high art, la crème de la crème. Through poetry, sartorial choices, imagery, and music, Beyoncé celebrates the rich history of Black and African identity. Slavery isn't the only narrative of Black-ness, Black people were also kings and queens. This masterpiece, and therefore Beyoncé, proclaims that Black people are more than the box society has put them in---Black is King. Expand

The voyage feels even more special during the current state of the world, as the Black experience has been looked at closely in the wake of the many deaths of Black people, and the Black Lives Matter movement that continues to protest racism and inequality. And for those of us who have been stuck in place for months because of the coronavirus pandemic, the voyage and escapism are welcomed. In “Black Is King,” which debuted Friday on Disney+, Beyoncé continues to dig deep into her roots and share her discovery with the world, like she did on the sweet masterpiece “Lemonade.” Black pride is the center of the film, with African artists strongly represented, as Beyoncé shares her stage with Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Busiswa, Salatiel, Yemi Alade, Moonchild Sanelly and more.

They add a great deal of energy and beauty to the film — through lyrical delivery, eye-popping and sharp choreography, and bright and elegant costumes — bringing the songs from “The Lion King: The Gift” to life. That album was inspired by the time Beyoncé spent voicing the character of Nala in the latest version of “The Lion King.” Audio from the animated film are included, but it’s the newer passages that truly resonate.

“When it’s all said and done, I don’t even know my own native King Beyoncé’s new film takes you on a journey of Black art, music, history and fashion as the superstar transports you to Africa to tell the story of a young man in search of his crown, matched to epic songs she created while inspired by “The Lion King.”

They add a great deal of energy and beauty to.

AMAZING. its not about RACE, it’s about CULTURE. Its not about Beyoncé “cashing out” on culture, it’s about CELEBRATING AND BRINGING AWARENESS TO IT. What type of awareness? THAT THE CULTURE WE ALL ONCE DERIVED FROM IS THE MOST ROYAL CULTUREAMAZING. its not about RACE, it’s about CULTURE. Its not about Beyoncé “cashing out” on culture, it’s about CELEBRATING AND BRINGING AWARENESS TO IT. What type of awareness? THAT THE CULTURE WE ALL ONCE DERIVED FROM IS THE MOST ROYAL CULTURE THAT CAN EXIST. Why? BECAUSE WE ARE ALL DERIVED FROM IT, whether you like it or not. Everyone who is saying it sucks and rating it 0 is jealous, narcissistic, or pessimistic. Don’t believe them. I am one of the most optimistic people there is to exist. I can tell you for a fact, if you stop believing stereotypes, rumors, (including but not limited to, illuminati, epstein island, or that she is not rich because of her talent but because she is involved with satanic dealings) < which are all just rumors to entertain pessimistic people, and focus on the fact that she didn’t JUST include BLACK PEOPLE, BUT ALL TYPES OF BROWN PEOPLE AS WELL AS MULTIPLE GENDERS, and lastly, if you just simply watch the film instead of criticizing it because you don’t like her, or the previews, or the title, then you would understand the true meaning of the film. But honestly, she doesn’t need your critique, or anyone’s. it is a work of art and sorry, but disney already approved it ;). Amazing Bey. Love you! Expand

Once again, Beyoncé innovates in showing the world what we are already married to know ... The world is hers and we just live in it.
