The harsh criticism attached to the film which was based on the trailer was premature as the film has surpassed the expectation of many viewers. The film does not Wakandify the African narrative but rather gives a proper and just narrative to the African story. That gives the African child a platform to communicate their story, the postcolonial media depiction of African Aesthetic was not appropriated but rightfully represented. The historical events which was white washed is being rectified. The films inclusion of African is to be commended. It is rich in culture including the outfit, make up and dance. The whole film had opulent production team. It is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Film to watch. Indeed BLACK IS KING, Africans must begin to write their own stories. If it does get nominated for any award and win any award it’s solely because of its powerful message about the African Story which was mot westernised.… Expand
