Vi alguns reclamando da história ser fraca e quem desanima de ir no cinema simplesmente perde isso... Os sentimentos dos Navi são passados através da tela, quando coloquei o óculos me vi imerso em um mundo fantástico e mágico, era como se eu tivesse olhando por um portal aonde os personagens podem entrar e sair, foi absolutamente incrível! Os atores estão ali para atuar e não para brincar, as cenas aquáticas são simplesmente maravilhosas, definitivamente o maior espetáculo que já existiu no cinema! Certamente, uma nota 10!… Expand

Avatar: way of the water was absolutely incredible. Beautifully done and had all of my emotions flowing. I’m so happy I was able to see the movie in theater with my husband and our daughter. This is more than a movie, it’s an experience.

I cried so hard during the movie. I've waited for this moment for 13 years, and Avatar 2 didn't disappoint me. Every single scene was so magical, characters gradually brought me out of the real world, and I totally lived in Pandora. ThoughI cried so hard during the movie. Though some people said the plot was incompleted and unconvinced, it is because there are 3 more movies to develop the plot. If they did everything in Avatar 2 then what else was left in the following ones? The unfinished problems will be solved in parts 3, 4, and 5, and that’s why the ending was the open one. The graphic is not simply spectacular (Aquaman feels like cheap China crap in comparison), but make a new benchmark for all blockbusters. 10 of 10 absolutely! This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Amazing to see James Cameron’s new innovation at work. New immersive experience takes you on a journey to a new place unlike any other film, yet there are scenes that feels familiar from the suspenseful moments in the Titanic.

This was an epic cinematic experience that I haven’t felt in over a very long time. Watch it on a 3D High Frame Rate screen if you can. The experience was worth the premium.

Thankful for Disney and James Cameron for creating such a marvellous film for the ages.… Expand

My 90 year old grandparents, who never go to see movies, went and saw this and loved it, and this movie is almost 200 minutes long. The world building is also really well done, an underrated ability is to be able to completely flesh out an entire universe, make it feel big, real and lived in, with no written source material to lean back on. This franchise feels on par with Harry Potter, Marvel, The Lord of the Rings, and it is something that I am truly grateful of, especially with the state of cinema post pandemic. If you liked the first, go see this one, and if you didn’t give this one a try.… Expand

Avatar The Way of Water es la continuación perfecta de una de las mejores películas de la primera década de los 2000. Con casi 4 años de desarrollo de una cámara para grabar bajo el agua, un año de desarrollo de años de contexto de Pandora,Avatar The Way of Water es la continuación perfecta de una de las mejores películas de la primera década de los 2000. Con casi 4 años de desarrollo de una cámara para grabar bajo el agua, un año de desarrollo de años de contexto de Pandora, entrenamiento de los actores, etc. Llega, 13 años después, El camino del agua.

Voy a estructurar la crítica por puntos, como a mi me gusta (sin spoilers).

- Nivel técnico: es el gran punto fuerte de esta saga. El peak de la tecnología aumenta cuando sale avatar. Esta película es la nueva referente de la tecnología en el cine.
- A nivel visual: es un espectáculo, combinación de colores, entornos, movimientos de cámara. James Cameron es un genio en muchos géneros de películas y sabe dónde poner la cámara en escenas románticas, dramáticas, de acción, de aventura, DE TODO.
- Narrativa: simpleza no es lo mismo que cutrez o malo. Como la primera, la trama es simple: humanos vs nativos. Me sigue pareciendo muy interesante porque de nuevo, tenemos que aprender acerca de Pandora, y el tercer acto del film es una genial película de acción.
- Personajes: Nos presentan a la familia de los Sully y nuevas tribus de Na'vi, con nuevas relaciones, nuevas formas de relacionarse con Eiwa y está a la altura de la presentación de los Omatikaya en la primera.
- Soundtrack: Desgraciadamente, James Horner falleció y no ha podido seguir trabajando en la OST de Avatar. Se nota la falta de Horner, aun teniendo temas interesantes.

En general, una película excelente, que en días en los que se va al cine solo a ver Marvel, se agradece. Más si es una experiencia fantástica como esta.… Expand

If you are looking for a deep story, this is clearly not the right movie.

Never seen a high-budget movie do that on this level. There were so many moments that were visually breathtaking and immersive. That was what I was hoping for and the movie really didn't disappoint.

In terms of the enjoyment of the film, this is a subjective experience that can vary from person to person. Some viewers may find the "Avatar: The Way of Water" to be visually stunning and engaging, while others may find the change from 48 fps scenes to 24 jarring and out of place. I would have much preferred the entire movie to have been shot in 48 fps as I genuinely enjoyed the 48 fps scenes shot when I viewed the movie in my local Cinemark XD 3D theater. The 3D was stunning and by far the best use of it since my viewing of the original "Avatar" in 2009. The story was great at including as many of the main characters as they could, I just wish some more screen time was given to Jake, Neyteri, and their oldest son, Neteyam. Personally I felt like Jake had some character decisions that did not represent who he became at the end of the original film, which could have been better explained.… Expand

It’s the similar family/growing pains and story tropes, dressed in the most beautiful visuals and stand out voice acting you’ll ever see. For the genre it’s in the top, for all movies in general it’s still top.

the whale with the missing fin is the real hero of this movie. The ocean was amazing. the children characters were mostly not that annoying. the last hour of the movie is a non stop thrill ride. put that on a poster

Avatar 2 is the almost perfect sequel, but lamentably falls a little bit short on things that made the original so great, but at the same time, knows and accomplish to keep most of them, and even some improvements. This movie is full of surprises, which is what makes it so special. Sigourney Weaver as Kiri is phenomenal, all of the Tulkun story, and the perfect shot chase scenes and new characters with their relationships are a few. All of the cast does a great job, but Weaver manages to outpace herself. The actions scenes are out of this world, perfect in every way, James Cameron should win Best Director, because his direction leads the movie into a new level. The children of Jake and Neytiri are highlights, all of them. They nailed their family bond, siblings bonds and each own, especially Lo’ak and Kiri have room to deliver more than the rest, whether is a love story or something else. The emotional impact is huge, everything makes it so big, performances, the direction, all of it just makes you want to cry, or laugh or even feel a little bit emotional. But now, let’s say when it fails. Most of the more boring parts are because Quaritch and Spider, both characters feel out of place, and their journey is very slow, and it’s almost like you have already seen this, instead of focusing on them, they should have let Neytiri be a main character again, and explore more of Ronal’s and a much more interesting villian. The beach and it’s creatures are gorgeous, but to me at least, the forest continues to be more impressive. Neteyam shoud rest in the forest, not in the water, all he wanted was to go home. Eventually, Avatar 2 is an amazing film, and everything I’ve pointed out are things that I don’t hate, just wish to change, but it’s great points are so much more stronger than the weaker parts. I hope we get a better villain for the third.… Expand

I became very attached to the characters (Jake and Neytiri) after the first film, and the addition of their 5 children was really exciting. Much of the film was filled with suspense hoping that his family would survive. Yes, the plot is simple, but still really entertaining. I do agree there are some plot holes (rather significant ones), which is why I give the movie a 9 instead of a 10. The graphics were incredible as expected, but even with worse graphics, this movie would still be a 8/10.… Expand

Visually speaking, it's the best out there. In terms of story telling, the movie takes a basic, overused story and puts it in a unique and interesting scenario. It is able to barely juggle all the characters, despite their basic dialogue. Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) steals the show with their emotional and fantastic performance. Honestly, the CGI and visuals are so impressive that one can think it was shot in the future. Dont get me wrong, the script is not perfect, the dialogue is sometimes sketchy, but the drama and intenseness picks up in the unforgettable final act which is stuffed with emotions, explosions and scenes which parallel with Titanic. The movie is an ode to nature, its an ode to cinematography, and its an ode to complex story telling, which sometimes feels perfect, and sometimes feels rushed or overhauled.… Expand

I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. If you hated that one, this one won’t change your mind.

James Cameron is masterful storyteller, subtly laying out all the seemingly disconnected puzzle pieces before placing them altogether. HeI enjoyed it just as much as the first one. If you hated that one, this one won’t change your mind.

James Cameron is masterful storyteller, subtly laying out all the seemingly disconnected puzzle pieces before placing them altogether. He stacks internal conflict on external conflict over and over again without it feeling contrived. As the tension builds, so does the desire for a payoff and he delivers. In particular, the reaction of one of the man angry parents.

His characters are always volitional, and if they turn passive, they take a back seat to the other characters driving the action.

All of Cameron’s storytelling prowess is on display here. Avatar 2 is not the greatest story ever told nor is the plot particularly innovative, but it is a well oiled machine built to deliver a moving and memorable outcome. I really enjoyed it and will definitely see it again.… Expand
