The Game was unplayable. Too many Glitches. Too many freez-up. I don't know what you guys are Smoking. But this game had waaay too many Bugs. And No my X-box wasn't modd'ed. And yes I clean the DVD drive on a monthly basis. Check the X-Box forums. I ain't the only one here upset.

Sadly, a great game gone to waste! too few upgrades and too many bugs and issues, both technical and storywise. the game is just a rip off of the original. dont buy it, obsidian doesnt deserve your money for copying the first game. a sequel should be an upgrade not the other way around.

Storyline has a tendency to veer off into a dead-end when NPCs do not fulfill their storyline duties, or when the PC plays events out of normally expected sequence. This game appears to have been poorly tested. I have played it through twice.

BAD: Unplayable. The load times ultimately killed this game, and that's before even considering the dated graphics and buggy character design. 5 hours (counting 2 hours of just loading) till I get a lightsaber? C'mon! If Jade Empire gets this kind of treatment... GOOD: You can save anywhere. That's about it for the good.

A fine RPG - it's just not the earth-shattering sequel that people might expect. [Feb 2005, p.100]

It's fair to say that the fans have once again been spoilt by such a magnificent offering. There's not even a hint of disappointment here. [Feb 2005, p.112]

With around 50 hours (if you play both sides) of immersive RPGing and several different possible conclusions for both Dark and Light side players, you're getting good value for money. Just try not to sweat the ending too much.
