Levels look dazzling, but the actual tasks you must accomplish in them are often so contrived that all the realism fades away. [Winter 2002, p.101]
  2. The more we played, the more we felt like we were being pushed down an inch wide pipe till we got to the end – it wasn’t a nice feeling and it spoilt the feel of the game.
  3. Looking visually identical to the PS2 version is forgivable (just about), but loading in-between the level sections isn’t – especially when you continue from exactly the same point as you stop... [yet it's still] an exceptionally good game.
  4. Does Medal of Honor Frontline have its moments? Absolutely! Is it a game that will keep you coming back for more, with innovative gameplay and multiplayer modes? Nope.
  5. A dull, linear first-person shooter with international conflict as its backdrop, that tries to put players into the boots of a WW2 soldier embroiled in the thick of the things, but fails miserably. [XGamer]

Medal of Honor Frontline was a great game for it's time. Without a doubt the highlight of this game to me was it's story. A few cons I feelMedal of Honor Frontline was a great game for it's time. Without a doubt the highlight of this game to me was it's story. A few cons I feel worth noting however, which could hamper the experience for some, are the graphics and clunky controls. To be more specific, movement and aiming can take some getting used to, especially aiming because it can prove to be woefully inaccurate at times. If you can look past those faults, it's still a very enjoyable game worth giving a playthrough despite being over 10 years old. Full Review »
