C.JohnsonFeb 24, 2003Kakuto Chojin is the best outstanding figher game so far, The graphics are well designed and fighting moves are realistic. I also love the dual fighting styles and capture the crown. Truly an awesome game. Looking forward to Kakuto Chojin 2 :)

BobH.Feb 11, 2003Considering how ambitious Microsoft game studios is, I am surprised at how bland this game is. This is the second over-hyped title that falls short in quality (the first game being Blinx). Skip this game and buy Tao Feng instead.

SartasM.Jan 7, 2003Story mode? I think I blinked and missed the plot! Control was very basic, the AI was non-challenging. I rented it for a buck and feel like I should get change back.

KevinW.Dec 29, 2002Hey this game LOOKS awesome, It blows pretty much every 3D fighter out of the water graphically. But honestly, Karate Champ was deeper than this.

GustavoO.Dec 3, 2002You dont have any spessial power like basic fighting games like street fighter besides with all the great graphix they dont let you see the body of the fighter when you throw em from a building.

#18 Most Discussed Xbox Game of 2002
|
-
Xbox Nation MagazineKC's four-player mode...is essentially the equivalent of a Yugo with a top-of-the-line 100-disc CD changer and 5.1 surround sound speaker setup. That is, it's useless. [Feb/Mar 2003, p.80]
-
Edge MagazineA stab at innovation would usually constitute an excuse for an otherwise diabolical title, but in Kakuto Chojin there are no puncture wounds, just lots of internal bleeding. [March 2003, p.104]

This is not a bad game...it is merely uninspired.
