    I don't really understand all the love this game gets. The animation and graphics are way below par. The gameplay is functional, but nothing special. I don't like the pitching system at all. It doesn't give you enough freedom. But the batting does seem right. Trying to read pitches is made challenging and fun. I played High Heat after MVP 05, and MLB 2k5, and both those I don't really understand all the love this game gets. The animation and graphics are way below par.   3. Baseball is about the battle between the pitcher and hitter and HH does this extremely well. Also with the wealth of sliders on key areas of gameplay, HH makes for an extremely customizable gaming experience.
