Heavy on exploration and item quests and even makes a valiant attempt at some RPG-like combat, but most of all its a wonderful adventure that takes place in a fantasy setting that will delight the younger kids and their parents making this the perfect family game.
-
For younger gamers, it tries to offer some valuable lessons about respect for others and responsibility, but the message seems to be clouded by all the pointless side missions and mindless monologues of other characters.
-
The game falls short most obviously in the gameplay, with its bland and linear levels and large amount of backtracking used only as an attempt to make the game longer, although its still only around five hours long.
-
Sadly, the game's poor design, uninteresting story plot and monotonous gameplay will sorely disappoint fans of the Dinotopia books and television miniseries.
-
This is one for the kids and as such a generic plot, comic voice acting, simple puzzles, below average graphics, and a general lack of nuance may be acceptable.
