o que dizer sobre esse jogo? quantas promessas e ilusões foram feitas pelo falastrão do todd howard? um jogo com uma boa premissa, porém traduzido de forma porca e sem identidade. é um jogo feito as pressas, sem capricho.

I love open world games, zelda, the witcher, Skyrim and that kind of games, Starfield it's different, it's addictive I spend my whole day thinking about the planets i will explore, thinking about resources to improve my ship, I'm just in love with this game. thank you Bethesda.

Game lacks any real vision. Feels very bland and uninspired. Does nothing to change the formula up. Space exploration is boring and tedious, gun play is acceptable, graphics are quite dated for a 2023 game.
Its by no means a bad game, it just isnt a good one. It might be time to look at updating the creation engine Bethesda.
    Very disappointed.

Enough already. This is literally just a reskinned Fallout 4. It plays and feels exactly the same, not to mention that Fallout 4 was already an outdated piece of garbage when it first released. The greedy developers are too cheap and lazy to update or get a new engine. Not even EA is that greedy to use stone age engines for their PS5/XSX games. Bethesda is now owned by a multi-trillion dollar company and it's pathetic they still use this same Nintendo DS 2D minigame for lockpicking in a $70 next-gen only title. I can pick locks in real-time in Atomic Heart, and that game was made by an inexperienced no-name studio with a much smaller publisher. That just proves Bethesda are extremely greedy and lazy. You can't open doors in real-time, nor can you grab anything in real-time. The developers bragged about 1000 planets, but it's nothing more than 1000 glorified interiors.

The missions are boring and repetitive. The story is terrible. The character models are so hideous, it makes me want to puke. The facial animations are laughable. The gunplay is horrible, and so is the inventory system. The space battles are a joke. The physics are complete trash. When I fall into the water 100 feet in the air, there's no splash nor does my character go underwater. The water doesn't even react to grenades and explosions. This $70 next-gen only title runs at 30 FPS. The protagonist doesn't talk. These cheapskates didn't want to pay for a protagonist voice actor. The AI is incredibly stupid. I can't believe the amount of Xbox fanboys lying about the lack of bugs. That is an absolute lie, there's many bugs in this game. Speaking of fanboys, they claim that the game gets fun in about 12 hours. A game shouldn't take that freaking long to be fun. This garbage costs $70, it should be fun right from the get-go. If an entertainment product doesn't entertain, then what's the point? I also love how these fanboys make that claim, because they're basically admitting that the first 12 hours are boring.

There's nothing to do in the open world. Wait, did I say open world? There are loading screens when visiting other planets. It's the same garbage as Witcher 3, can't even explore the entire open world in real-time. The planets are empty. It's just wastelands full of rocks, plants and more rocks. Yeah I get it, most planets in the universe are empty. But let's not forget you can't even explore an entire planet, nor can you explore outerspace in real-time like you can in No Man's Sky, meaning Bethesda clearly had the choice to only make us explore the interesting parts. They didn't make that choice. To make matters worse, there's no land vehicles, making it more tedious to explore these empty landscapes. Speaking of exploration, there are no maps. They could have at least added a proper map for the so-called "cities" but the developers were too lazy for that. I don't want to waste my time trying to find the gun shop. What is it with Bethesda calling small settlements cities? If those are cities, then Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores from GTA V are cities.

There is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is literally not a reason to play this game again. Charging $70 for a game with no replay value is a cash grab. Where's Team Deathmatch? Where's PvP space battles? Co-op? Anything? It is highly embarrassing that an indie studio like Hello Games can give me co-op, yet this veteran AAA studio backed by a multi-trillion dollar corporation can't even do that. Even a failure defunct studio like Volition can give me co-op. A very tiny studio like Coffee Stain North can give me co-op. I could make plenty of examples in regards to other smaller studios humiliating you Bethesda and Microsoft, but why should I even bother doing that when you already do an amazing job at humiliating yourselves. I mean, just look at those NPCs. They don't react to you firing your weapons, a basic detail that many PS2 games had. I remember playing N64 games with that little detail. I am sick to death of Microsoft's low quality trash. I expect a dozen top-notch AAA biblical gaming experiences by now from a multi-trillion dollar company. I don't recommend this game at all, unless you want to support laziness.

Its a massive open world Rpg with so much to do that it can take months to complete it. So many different stories interconnected, the paths you choose the decisions you make molds it into a fine role playing game.

This game turned out to be a huge disappointment, its a mediocre Bethesda game and a downright awful space game.

For starters the space is fake, theres no exploration. Ships are purposefully designed to be slow as molases (despite having tech for warp engine across galaxies) so you dont stray far from the planets atmosphere (which btw is a fake png too) unless you hit throttle for literally hours on end

How convenient huh? That space ships with warp technology across technology, moves so slow it cant move around solar system at reasonable speeds

I say convenient because this is a intentional cap to mask and hide the fake space, theres no space its just a map with quick travel loading screens. The planets are just segmented levels which you quick travel to

tl,dr If you're looking for a space game, avoid this game its terrible, a waste of money and time

Only reason I give it a 9 is bc load screens can become too much. However you kinda get used to it and learn tricks to avoid them. Hopefully it is fixed at some point otherwise this game is a masterpiece and the more you play the better it gets!! I just love it

I even had it pre-ordered until I saw the demo and Bethesda explain what kind of game they were making, so I canceled and would wait for it to go on sale or Gamepass. Luckily Microsoft's business model is geared towards its subscription service, so I got this game day 1 for a month at $17, and honestly it's not a bad deal considering how disappointing the game was. I've anyways enjoyed Bethesda games in the past, with wide vistas, an interactive world with deep lore and winding stories with a few narrative choices for the player, and a leveling system that helped build all the immersion. With Starfield you certainly get the wide open maps, a heavy amount of world building and lore, but everything else feels watered down. There's no improvement to the formula with this game, it really does feel like a 4k rework of Fallout 4 with a space themed expansion. Conversation chains are redundant beyond story interaction where you choose to talk, buy, or fight out of a situation. Besides the distracting and aged face modeling and reactions, you can upset an NPC so that they 'won't talk to you again' and then just start the conversation over and try a different choice path. Interaction with the world is limited to picking up things, hitting buttons, or talking to people (besides combat). For instance: in Fallout 4 you could find a dozen computers to hack or read through to piece together a mystery through pages of context and access secret areas all in a single dungeon. In Starfield you can wander an entire city finding a few consoles to interact with that look like menus out of a PS2 era RPG, with context delivered in a few sentences. That's kind of the game in a nutshell: you get a fraction of the effort spread over an exponentially larger and emptier world. Space exploration is little more than resource hunting and developing, as there is an outpost management game that's a grown up version of what's in Fallout 4, and instead of building a power suit, now you can build ships! But the ship building isn't very in depth right now without Bethesda stripping it's mod community for content thanks to its very anti-player user agreement. The space battles are fine and the only real new thing in the game, but they're mostly forgettable considering anything else in the market like Rebel Galaxy or Elite Dangerous. The lack of depth in ship development and modification also makes most space battles not only straight forward, but really repetitive, almost a copy and paste of the ground combat. Ground combat is next to awful. Gunplay is fine, feels like a smoothed out version of Fallout 4, but controls are still clunky at times. Despite the variety of weapons adding some spice to combat, it's generally ruined by the awful AI that moves at random or not at all, acting more often as spongy sitting ducks that occasionally shoot back and glue themselves to cover.

The game looks great and there's plenty to look at, so I've found some fun there and in some of the side quests, but like everything else in the game it's all skin deep. Exposing a corrupt politician at the end of a storyline only to have him there in his office weeks later in game and talk to you like it was the first time meeting and nothing has happened... you see it constantly and it just shatters the illusion. Bethesda tried building a giant lake instead of a deep and interesting pool, but it's only a few feet deep at parts, and often it feels like a puddle.

I'm glad I tried it on Gamepass because it's not terrible, I'm having some fun with it, but it is a massive letdown. I might try to finish the main story and hope it doesn't play out exactly like it seems, but I'm not holding my breath and I'll eventually get bored with this and leave it for good. There's just not enough here at the core of the game to come back to, so even a better story with actual characters wouldn't hide the bland undercoat here.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. REALLY bad storytelling. Bland uninteresting characters. Nick Valentine from Fallout 4 is more interesting than every Starfield character combined.

Here is the horrible story set-up in the introduction:
    - First day mining on the job. Your boss finds an anomaly they don't understand and tells you to investigate it by yourself (this would never happen in any job)
    - You touch a rock and pass out
    - Wake up and everyone says you're special because you randomly passed out
    - Random guy you don't know all of a sudden gives you his ship and robot

It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
