    Wow really there are seriously butt hurt people about loading screens and exploration. This game wasn't ever suppose to be open world. Yes there are too many loading screens, yes you cant land your ship on each planet, but the pros outweigh its cons. Seriously this is massive in scope in terms side quests and main story quests, I get immersed by it voice acting and graphics are soo goodWow really there are seriously butt hurt people about loading screens and exploration. I'm 20hrs in and I love this game. Sarah Morgan my companion is in love with me and there's a quest to get married somewhere. You get to talk to her in between quests, and get to find out what she wants, talks about her past trauma and then another quest starts. Great game!! Classic Bethesda story and quest system. BTW the gameplay the shooting mechanics are very good much better than Fallout 4.… Expand

    25 hours into the game and by far it is the best Bethesda experience I have had since Skyrim! Todd never disappoints

    Jogo do ano, o melhor lançado em 2023, boa jogabilidade , gráficos incríveis , paisagem de planetas lindos, historia com grande profundidade , historias secundarias que te levam a explorar bastante os planetas personalização excelente, tudo que um grande jogo tem, haters da sony negativando o jogo em peso, como o esperado!

    Fanboys can review bomb this all they like. Whilst the game is not without flaws, taken as a whole, it is a stunning achievment. Even as I write this, I cannot wait to get back into the game.

    I really do not understand the low scores here. This game is different from other Bethesda game in that exploration is fundamentally different. There is not walking out of the cave or of the vault moment. There is not pick a direction and go moment. Perhaps other players just need to spend more time with it or maybe they are just disappointed that its not no man's sky with a Bethesda game attached to it. I don't know. But overall the critic review average is definitely fair. There are some problems with the game (the segmented felling travel being the biggest offender here) but there is so much more that is of such high quality that I cannot fathom the low scores. I'd say anywhere between an 85 and a 90 is definitely fair for this one. In a year or two down the line YouTube is definitely going to be filled with Starfield retrospectives about what a good game this is and how people overreacted to it's downsides in their reviews.… Expand

    Bethesda Games have outdone themselves with an incredible expansive universe waiting for you to explore. The game does start slow to introduce you to the game after that though everything is up to you take your time and explore or get into some trouble with any of the various factions and people you encounter throughout the game. Like with all Bethesda games of this kind it will take years to do all there is to do. I have stopped playing nearly all my other games to play Starfield it is truly breathtaking. So why didn't I give it a 10 well its not a locked 30 has minor frame dips at time. The AI can be dumb too at time and though I find it hilarious like when Walter runs full speed at armed individuals to knock them out… Expand

    I’d kept up with news and info since they announced it but did think I’d get into it.
    Over 20+ hours played over the past couple of days and I was wrong. There is a lot to do on it. Yes there’s a lot of loading but it’s easily cut down if you learn to just use the star map instead of walking to your ship,boarding,enter cockpit,take off etc. I can see me    This game exceed my expectations.

    I’ve put about 15 hours into Starfield and it’s one of the best games I’ve played. Been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a new game this much. There’s something about BGS so hole player games that are just so good. This game will live on for a long time.

    Also funny that the ponies think leaving negative reviews will actually affect anything.

    Absolutely delightful space RPG. Only around 30 hours in and thoroughly enjoying it. Solid game performance and stable frame rate. Would especially recommend for fans of the Fallout series and fans of science fiction.

    This is my first Bethesda game (I never felt interested in the older games) and I LOVE IT! I have been obsessed with astronomy since I was a kid and this hits all the buttons for me. The combat is balanced, physics exists in the game, I can explore in my own way or follow missions… 9/10 because it’s a lot to take in and make sense of but there’s only been one visual bug in my 15 hours ofThis is my first Bethesda game (I never felt interested in the older games) and I LOVE IT!     Έλλειψη tutorial.
    Γενικότερη αίσθηση ότι παίζεις παλιό παιχνίδι και ας είναι νέα κυκλοφορία.
    Δεν ξέρω αν η Bethesda μπορεί να δώσει αυτό που πλέον περιμένει ο κόσμος στο σύνολο του. Σίγουρα όμως τα microsoft studios δείχνουν ότι μπαίνουν σε μια ροή και ίσως το άλμα στα γραφικά το δούμε εκτός από το forza, στο επόμενο Gears.    … Expand

It's just online leeches complaining that it was overhyped, or it simply wasn't a game for them. Of course there was hype, but just because it didn't live up to "THEIR" hyped expectations or they just didn't like the game, here cometh the review bombers and90% of the user reviews here are just salty reviews.     The developers have put a lot of time and effort into Starfield and it shows by the bucket load. This is the biggest game from Bethesda since Skyrim... it's even been labelled as Skyrim/Fallout in space, and this is exactly what we got with extra garnish and polish. The longer you play the game, the more you get out of it, and it's with this addictive game loop that just keeps you wanting more. It's not perfect and does need some fine tuning, but I'm sure these will get ironed out overtime as the game grows with DLC and updates.

    Do yourself a favour... it will make you a better person. Pay no attention to the user scores, take off the sheep skin, play the game and make your own mind up.    … Expand

    Game is immersive. 49 hours in and a ton to do still. Also you can see the PlayStation bots review bombing. Obviously they are upset that their plastic box doesn’t get it.

    Like 99% of the folks that rated the game with 0 to 5, I have not played the game yet... I expecting to start playing it in a few weeks, but I wanted to scored it with 10 just to compensate the score of the fan boys that gave a 0... I promise to update the score as soon as I play and FINISH the game.

Despite the major blunder of Fallout 76's launch, Starfield has proved that Bethesda is most certainly capable of creating engaging gameplay loops, wonderful stories and side quests, and interesting worlds that will hold your interest for dozens, if not hundreds, of hours.

    Something that stuck out to me when I started the game was the graphical fidelity and overall look and feel of the game. There is heavy usage of procedural generation in the terrain and planets which means there will often be textures that look murky or washed out--but the handcrafted content is such high quality visually that I almost forget I'm playing a Bethesda game. With hundreds of hours split across Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, I've become very used to the antiquated Creation Engine in all its visual soupiness and technical fragility. But Creation Engine 2 is a frankly astonishing step up for Bethesda's engine. When rumors first appeared of a revamped engine, I was skeptical as these games have always had a certain jank to them. But CE 2 is a true improvement that brings much-needed modernization to the Bethesda formula. You can climb ladders now! This may be the new addition I'm most excited to see return in future BGS games. Clamboring, boost-pack jumping, and the gravity system all also feel excellent to play around with. The physics of this game are also a blast, especially in Zero-G areas, and have become some of the most unique moments I've had in a BGS game almost instantly.

    But enough with the engine--the artistic core of the game largely works for me. As a huge fan of sci-fi, real world space exploration, and the mystery and intrigue that comes along with the thought of humanity exploring the vastness of space made me primed to like this game. It's clear the amount of passion and love poured into Starfield and everything new it brings to the table, even if some parts don't quite stick the landing. Something that does, however, is the music. Bombastic, intriguing, or mysterious, it manages to evoke themes of Elder Scrolls and Fallout, while still feeling distinct and "spacey". Some of the writing was a bit corny for my taste, but some of it was very enjoyable (this is true for character writing such as dialogue, but also narrative writing & plot, as well as questlines). A couple of the gameplay systems can end up feeling cumbersome later in the game, and dauntingly large early game, but if you're willing to commit to them, such as operating, building or upgrading your ship; diving into crafting weapon and suit mods; or the intensive network of resource mining, so you can craft resources to further build mods, or sell for credits, etc. There is a mountain of content and interwoven systems that seem too large to handle, but will get easier as you stick with them.

    The gunplay may be the most noticeably improved system in the game, to the point where it nearly doesn't seem like a BGS title. If Fallout 4 was an RPG first with a so-so FPS haphazardly glued to it, then Starfield is an FPS first with excellent RPG systems masterfully infused. The guns feel, play, shoot and sound so tacitly. They look visually unique, cover a wide range of styles and damage types, and even at 55+ hours into the game are far and away one of the most satisfying components of the core gameplay loop.

    The main story may or may not be for everyone; if you like screwing around with BGS's design choices and just living in their worlds and have only loosely engaged with their narratives, then you will more than likely enjoy your time with Starfield no matter what. But if the "big questions" about why humans exist, what our purpose is, and are there other intelligent species out there don't captivate your mind--then you likely won't find the main story all that compelling, even compared to Bethesda's other games. But if these questions pique your curiosity, then the main questline will hold your attention long enough to see what it all builds to.

    Vi do un consiglio esplorate tantissimo merita davvero di essere vissuto.

    E un gioco immenso e fantastico ma con i suoi limiti non è nulla di rivoluzionario.

    Alcuni diffeti ci sono, tantissimi caricamenti e salvataggi fatti male, a me romace non hanno mai convinto, AI rivedibile, menu l'ho trovato poco intuitivo e spesso ti sbagli il pianeta oppure fai fatica a capire deve si trova la missione, per il resto non ho riscontrato alcun bug è un ottimo titolo ma non perfetto.

    I bought the upgrade to the premium edition so I have 25 hours already in on my Xbox. I love this game. The graphics are beautiful. The characters are well designed, unique and Interesting, The voice acting is some of the best I’ve heard. The dialog is clever and often times truly funny. The story has me hooked as it’s unfolding.     Starfield is no NMS and it doesn’t have to be - because it’s way better than that. Sure, we cannot fly from planet to planet, but who needs that if there’s a story and side quests you can travel way deeper into than you could travel in any solar system?

    No matter how hard you try to sabotage the score, this is such a great game all around. The graphics are beautiful and immersive, the main story is great so far, and the gameplay mechanics are quite an improvement -yet feel familiar- to previous Bethesda games like Fallout. The skill tree has so many options. In the long run, the truth will surface: this is the best Bethesda RPG so far.

    I can't stop playing this game! It's one of the best RPG games I've ever played. I always wanted a Cowboy Bebop style game and my dreams came true. The level and sound design is very good.

    I would say the only reason I have given this a less than perfect score is that it’s locked at 30fps on the console and new player onboarding experience is below par. However, if you can see past these downsides, you have a game here that seems every bit like one of the greatest games ever made.     As someone who has played all of Bethesda's games, I can confidently say that Starfield is easily their second best title of all time. The level of detail that Bethesda Game Studios has put into this game is truly impressive.     Excelentes Graficos y Personalización. La inmersión en el escenario esta bien lograda (olvidando las pantallas de carga), junto con el rendimiento, mayormente estable en consolas.

    No obstante, si hay un defecto considerable, es la inteligencia artificial de los enemigos y cuidadanos de las distintas galaxias. Aun asi me parece una obra maestra

    O jogo começa lento e vai tomando forma de acordo com o pregresso do jogador, as mecânicas são apresentadas de forma que quase tudo é opcional. O jogo te dá liberdade de jogar na maneira que você escolher como a Melhor.
    Os gráficos são excelentes principalmente na construção de mundo onde até mesmo no Xbox series S as texturas tem resoluções altíssimas.

    This is one of Bethesda's best games and definitely the most polished one. It starts a bit slow but then it really takes off and becomes addicting. From the story to the dialogues to the spaceship customization, base building, side quests, faction quests, the game delivered an experience that hooked me. Can't wait to see what the modding community will do with this gem

    Game of the generation. Truly a game that is going to age like the finest of wines. There’s a plethora of range when it comes to main story missions, faction missions, side missions, the list goes on. Truly a game that takes you to a place that is out of this world, (pun intended). A game you think about playing after you stop playing. We should be truly grateful to experience this masterpiece.

Scale of play is enormous and if anyone issues a score based on 5hrs of gameplay, the are jokers and worth a laugh. I put in over 30hrs and just scratching the surface.     What can I say.. the games what I expected. Its got that Bethesda rpg charm? I can loot to my hearts content. Explore everywhere I come across. Interact with every npc, build a ship, upgrade and steal ships. The weapons feel nice. I feel the hate comes from a certain seething fanbase Well worth the money wether bought or on gamepass.

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
