    Pros:
    - Graphics
    - High production value/ set pieces So-So: - overall gameplay. Cons: - One of the worst loot system I ever seen in a Triple A game. I blatantly ignored inventory system, and just pressed LT every once in a while. - Side content is literally generic side objectives with trash loot as the reward. - Level and enemy design This is a rent, just to blaze through

This is a rent, just to blaze through the campaign, and literally ignore everything else, then quickly return to get your money back type of game. Gameplay eventually gets old, and gets too button mashy, and side content is more of the same and not worth the extra time. Game clearly had potential. but i think CD focused on GAAS.

    * I hate PvE with a passion, will not waste my time on the multiplayer.

Marvel’s Avengers is an odd game. On one hand, it has a good, sometimes even great, single-player campaign that tells an interesting story. And then there’s the multiplayer. I could never understand why this game even had an online component to it. The online missions are so boring and the gear/loot system that comes with it is just so strange. The cosmetics have to be purchased or grinded to get, which makes no sense! In my opinion, the loot you get for a mission should not only boost your stats, but also affect the way each character looks. And this reason sums up a lot of issues with this game; why was this decision made? This game has a lot of those issues. This could have easily been a great game given how popular the Marvel Cinematic Universe currently is. Instead, it’s just a mediocre experience. Expand

I really enjoying of gameplay, and it's for free! Performance mode should be used for sure.

I just deleted this game after a few hours, it's terrible. You get hit twice and you die, meanwhile you have to hit the bad guys 50-100 times to kill them. I'm playing as a super-hero yet I need to avoid damage more than almost any other game I've ever played. If I was playing as a twig it would make sense.

There's no story. The level design is boring. At least I didn't spend money on it, thanks to gamepass.

Cool story and awesome graphics if you have the patience to fight a million enemies. For a marvel fan, it's worth a speed-run, especially since it's on game pass. Would have never paid full price for this.

The larger, more tangible improvement comes from picking up the frame rate. Like other boosted ports, the smoother animation at 60fps makes the game better to watch and to play. Combos flow together more smoothly as you pummel robots into shiny, little pieces. And, while I could see some slight differences when I realy scrutinized both versions, you aren't losing any significant detail in performance mode.
