    Ok so I have played through anout three hours and it's a solid game. The art is fantastic, the game play is good, the story is a bit meh. It's fun but to call it game of the year and give it a 10/10 (or a 0/10 by the Sony Ponies) is a bit much. It's like giving God of War a 10/10. They are both just hack n slash games with pretty graphics and pretty repetitive game play. Fun, perfect gameOk so I have played through anout three hours and it's a solid game.     El juego esta bien para un rato, es divertido pero es muy parecido a No straight, esta bien pero no es perfecto como lo pinta la prensa, esta claro que tiene review bombing positivó por la guerra de consolas, es un juego de notable 6 o 7 al igual que muchos Indies, ojo qué hay indies mejores

    Its just not my type of game. For many people this is a great game especially for the cheap price tag that its offers the game at. But I’ve never really enjoyed this genre of games even though they always intrigued me.

    Le doy un 7.5 el juego no esta mal para costar 30dlls, pero tampoco es la gran cosa, al pasar el timepo la muscia y las mecanica se vuelven un poco repetitivas.

    Definitely was surprised by this game, I knew nothing about it until recently and decided to give it a try and when I first started playing it I could not put down my controller for 3 hours. After about 4-5 hours of playing it I started to get sorta bored of how repetitive it kinda got.     Hi-Fi Rush isn't the type of game I'd pick up and play, but I heard so many things about it that I just had to try it (thank you, Game Pass). It sorta ended up being what I already expected, with a few surprises along the way.

    This game is downright gorgeous! The animations, vibrant colors, cutscenes, character design and even the visual cues were amazing. It makes you feel comfortable    Hi-Fi Rush isn't the type of game I'd pick up and play, but I heard so many things about it that I just had to try it (thank you, Game Pass). It sorta ended up being what I already expected, with a few surprises along the way.

    This game is downright gorgeous! The animations, vibrant colors, cutscenes, character design and even the visual cues were amazing. It makes you feel comfortable to play, while doing it all in style. The level design is also quite amazing. At times I loved the platforming moments, little puzzles and just traversing through areas way more interesting than the battle system.

    Unfortunately, the story and writing are very dumb and obvious. I know that its silliness can actually be intentional, but I just couldn't do it with the dialogue and the lack of development on the plot and its characters. I loved the presentation and the cast/villains were quite charming, but I couldn't care for them. Honestly, the worst aspect of the game.

    But the real deal here is the combat. A weird mix between Devil May Cry and, I don't know, Guitar Hero, I guess. For me, it worked. Not always, but it did work. It took a long time to click, but it was fun when it did. The thing that bothered me the most was that, sometimes, it didn't really feel like I was doing combos on the beat when I KNEW that I was. And yes, I checked and tweaked things in the options menu. Also, sometimes I was more focused on the beat than in actually moving forward. It's very strange, but there is beauty in it.

    The bosses were hilights for me, the enemy variety is interesting but sort of lacking (some of them, like the bird and the samurai, are annoying as hell), the environments look very good but are somewhat repetitive and combos were cool to pull off but buying them on the store didn't seem to shake up the combat that much.

    One other thing that was a bit of a hit or miss for me was the music. I think that's what kept me from enjoying this game more. The licensed music is great. I never thought I'd actually fight a video game boss to the sound of NIN, Number Girl and even a Flaming Lips cover. That was amazing.

    As for the original music? It was bland and forgettable. And for a game that puts music as the forefront of its design, it needed to be awesome.

    Hi-Fi Rush is not my type of game, but it's a fun experience, for sure! I liked how entertaining, charming, imaginative and technical it is, but I did not fall in love with its cast, story, world and, most importantly, music.

    If you have Game Pass, though, you should definitely give it a try!    … Expand

    Arte bonita e gameplay bastante fluída e divertida porém o estilo ritmo não me agradou e em tempos de DMC 5 ou Bayonetta 3 que eleveram o gênero Hack'n Slash HI-FI deixa a desejar

    Unfortunately movement in the game feels terrible. Why can’t my character catch the edge of a platform and pull himself up. It feels like you need to jump higher than you should have to. Art and music and sound are all pretty good. Story and characters were good enough. The battle mechanic is fun but something about it felt unfulfilling.

    Hifi-Rush isn’t you normal Tango game works game it feels like a breath of fresh air for Xbox that has so few Japanese exclusives and has great balance of 3d/2d with anime art that melds right together for a fun platforming experience that keeps to a rhythmic beat throughout game.     A really nice throwback to y2k hack and slash fun. Naturally, being a rhythm game, there is an utter dependence on the audio which i personally found to be HEINOUSLY ANNOYING AND GAME BREAKING. Christ almighty I did not need this kind of throwback: the cringey, cliched action-comedy antics of early 00s Cartoon Network etc. The hero is effectively Link from the Saturday morning ZeldaA really nice throwback to y2k hack and slash fun. Naturally, being a rhythm game, there is an utter dependence on the audio which i personally found to be HEINOUSLY ANNOYING AND GAME BREAKING. Christ almighty I did not need this kind of throwback: the cringey, cliched action-comedy antics of early 00s Cartoon Network etc. The hero is effectively Link from the Saturday morning Zelda cartoon and that is by no means a compliment. The music was just repulsively silly to the point that I ended up just playing the game with the sound off entirely and ignored the rhythm element.

    If this is your thing, I'm glad you have a really well polished game to scratch the itch. As a huge fan of cartoons, I was so excited to try this, but I found it to be vapid and obnoxious.

    If this were released in 2004 it would likely have been commended for it's rhythm elements and written off as just another in a long line of mediocre action games with forgettable protagonists.    … Expand

    Beautiful visuals, but hollow gameplay. The rhythm aspect is a bit gimmicky, gameplay isn't challenging at higher difficulties, and story and dialogue are subpar. Good concept though.

This game is a great idea but very frustrating, imagine devil may cry but also with the need to time your attacks dodges etc to a set rhythm and said rhythm isn't set to the beat of the actual sound track making it very difficult to 'feel the beat'. Couple this with an obtuse control scheme and busy combat where the camera often pans itself toVery pretty game but also very frustrating.     Repellant characters are so insufferable that even good dynamics wouldn't help this game. I'm a drummer so I gravitate towards rhythm games, so the combat is OK. But there is so much awful dialogue from a character that seems like the 'heroic' version of the incel from high school who refused to shower.

    I tried to like it, I kept at it for 2 hours before I uninstalled.

    Impressively, this game doesnt live upto the hype. The difficulty scaling is awful. Even on the hardest difficulty it poses absolutely no challenge. Graphically on par with 360 games. Freezes in some areas. Camera controls are bad. I will add however that dispite this very low review, it may appeal to kids and people who arent as experienced with video games.

    Recently tried this after reading a lot of hype over social media. I played around 1 hour and couldn’t carry on, I found the combat to be really tedious and basic. The anime art style is nice but the game just didn’t do it for me.

    Dropping it the way they did was to avoid reviews altogether.

    Thank god I didn't waste money of this mobile game.

    This is what happens when a company (ms) doesn't feel the need to make quality games.

    I wouldn't personally recommend it to others, maybe watch footage first to see if it's your type of game.

    I tried it because I wanted to see what the hype was about, so here is my review thinking it was the same as metal hellsinger, but sadly it is not, the game itself has good graphics that is all that it has. The button are too simple after finishing it l basically wasted my time, giving it a one score is too generous. Maybe it's for other people because this was not my taste.

    Ich kann den Hype durch die Xbox-Fanboy-Brille absolut nicht verstehen. HIFI-Rush besticht durch langweiliges Gameplay. Die Charaktere sind total lieblos. Kämpfe wiederholen sich immer wieder. Am Anfang noch interessant aber nach 20 Minuten ist man schon davon genervt

    Fantastic game, it is a shame Bethesda did a Shadow Drop with this, this game deserves to be played by everyone, original art style, amazing music, frenetic combat and lovely characters, Korsica Scottish mommy can step on me whenever she wants

    O jogo em si é repetitivo na sua gameplay e cenários, demonstrando a preguiça que existiu no seu desenvolvimento. Claramente projetado para inflar o catálogo da GP. Em se falando de um jogo exclusivo para os consoles MS, ter um videogame de 12 teraflops para se contentar com este nível de jogo. A que ponto a Bethesda chegou.

    This type of character design has been done before too much already, please leave the 80s behind already. We need to move forward with more character development and need more new game mechanics that is not borrowed from Sunset Overdrive or Jetset radio. This is boring . It is time to push the envelope in character design , narration, and play mechanics.

    Es un machaca botones, la jugabilidad es mediocre y el juego es repetitivo. Perdí 3 horas de mi vida en esta basura, me dejé llevar por los buenos comentarios que tiene el juego, supongo que para gustos colores, pero entendería que niños de preescolar lo puedan disfrutar.

    This game is overhyped to an extreme. No original ideas, bad gameplay, everything feels like a QTE, bad story, characters are weak and one-dimensional, stuttering issues, doesn’t allow for diversity in gameplay, shallow exploration, no lock-on in a third person action game. Just avoid this game.

    This game lives up to the hype. The world concept and art are some of the best I've seen in a decade, and the performance optimization is nothing short of miraculous for a startup company founded to make this game. The gameplay is also a well rounded FPS action game that is reliably fun.

    I was initially really excited for this game but after playing for 8 hours the gameplay started to feel stale and just plain boring to me. I tried to like the game but the combat felt really repetitive, even though the game is hyped up for its rhythm-based combat, it's not as much of a rhythm game. Overall the game felt clunky and at times gimmicky, plus the story and the character are tooI was initially really excited for this game but after playing for 8 hours the gameplay started to feel stale and just plain boring to me.     It’s a hack and slash with a combination of platforming for the whole family. From the start, its presentation, its plot and even its controls say it all. Its playtime is perfect, and you can play it as many times as you want. However, the button-matching stages can be tedious if you struggle to keep up, as well as a couple of bosses whose mechanics are unclear during the battle. Otherwise, Hi-Fi Rush is just flawless.

    What you will remember about Hi-Fi Rush is just how charming it is. It’s so rare for a game from one of the major developers to take a creative risk, and Hi-Fi Rush does just that. Not only is the core of the game innovative, but the way each character is written takes a big risk of having people switch off before they develop and you grow to love them. I hope Hi-Fi Rush is incredibly successful. I hope it teaches the industry that creative innovation can also create profits, and we see more new and interesting ideas from the big boys in the future.
