    Of course a ton of salty people (Sony fanboys) are review bombing it because it’s actually a good game and they can’t help but be upset.

    But anyways the game is SUPER fun. Campaign is a blast to do almost whatever you want when it comes to how you wanna tackle a mission. And the story is MUCH better than their last installment. As for the multiplayer don’t get me wrong super fun as well    Of course a ton of salty people (Sony fanboys) are review bombing it because it’s actually a good game and they can’t help but be upset.

    But anyways the game is SUPER fun. Campaign is a blast to do almost whatever you want when it comes to how you wanna tackle a mission. And the story is MUCH better than their last installment. As for the multiplayer don’t get me wrong super fun as well and I will be playing it for a very long time. But that doesn’t mean it is 10/10, the progression system is very slow and they don’t really give you much when it comes to armor if you did end up buying the battlepass, and as of right now there is no playlist settings, so no only slayer queuing.    … Expand

    The game is good, What more can I say. Although it's a little rough round edges(multiplayer not having dedicated playlists for modes and monetisation that is about predatory for halo standards). It's still amazing. The gameplay is crisp and fun and by the far the most polished compared to others (bf 2042 and vanguard). The campaign is the best it's been since reach. With a gripping storyThe game is good, What more can I say. Although it's a little rough round edges(multiplayer not having dedicated playlists for modes and monetisation that is about predatory for halo standards). It's still amazing. There are still small problems in optimization, I know that there is no anti-cheat, but I have not met cheaters in 26 hours.     Love the Campaign! Reminds me a lot of Halo CE and Halo 3, I could stay all day on top of a cliff admiring the view, but hey I love to explore and mash up the Banished any where I see em any way I like :D
    Multiplayer is great too, has its fixable problems, but the gameplay is amazing. Lots of fun with a group of friends. Now if your a lone wolf awesomeness awaits.

    Man,it was a long time that I didn't played halo but from last 2 day that I had a chance to play this,I should say this game is amazing and so fun to play.

    The best Halo so far. No dought, best sound design, best gameplay, best graphics. A true showcase. even the dialog of NPC's is on point. The open world approuch is exacly done as Halo deserves, it feels natural. So grateful to 343 for the work done here, a true experience. Well done. Multiplayer is also awsome.

I love this game, it has fantastic environmental story telling, addictive gameplay loop with a satisfying sandbox. the ring world is not a traditional open world and has a good amalgamation of both new and old halo. the story is up to each individuals interpretation however it is well told with fantastic delivery fromI am 343 industries, I am being given shill bucks to rate this game 10.     What it has is good, but the problem is that it's missing around half of the content that i wouldve expected the game to have. Unfortunately the campaign doesn't have co op either (yet) which is a big bummer.

    Really enjoyed the new Halo. The campaign feels like playing the original but with great graphics and without a certain enemy. The story was really good and gives you all the feels, though I do wish it was about 10 hours longer. I know this is a living game so who knows, maybe they'll add more. The multiplayer is exceptional and I love all the different armor pieces and paints. PeopleReally enjoyed the new Halo. The campaign feels like playing the original but with great graphics and without a certain enemy. The story was really good and gives you all the feels, though I do wish it was about 10 hours longer. People complain about the battle pass but I go up a least a couple levels every day. Yeah, some of the cool stuff is behind a pay wall but it's a F2P and money has to come from somewhere. Would be nice to be able to vote on maps or do play lists but that might be added later.     as a sony fan i feel jealous this isnt on my playstation.
    halo is the king and 343 did a fantastic job with infinite. the sound and game play is top notch and the new open world direction is a welcome surprise. and the mp is some of the best to date.

    i feel ashamed some of my fellow Sony fanboys are review bombing this game. all the fake review 0 should be deleted.

    Disfruté demasiado del juego, me encanta que conviertan lo típico del Halo en algo nuevo para esta generación. Desde movimiento más fluido hasta una campaña más profunda. Me gustaría un nuevo sistema de armas y por favor, por favor, que su tienda no sea tan cara, es algo exagerada.     This game is incredible. It starts right a the first mission and keeps on going. I can't put it down. 343 absolutely NAILED it. And as a long time Halo fan I couldn't be happier. I am counting the minutes till i get to Zeta Halo again after work :)

    Easily the best Halo campaign. I liked Halo5 but I LOVE! Halo infinite. I know the story of 5 was a bit messy but I think 343I has done a great job despite the mess they’ve created for themselves with the Halo 5 Narrative.

    Gunplay feels really good. Then multiplayer is really fun. The story is pretty good. It is definitely worth the $60. You get to have your "I really did that" kind of moment with the campaign which is very cool. 343i did an amazing job.

    Giving it a 10 to counter the 0 ratings. In reality, I feel this game is a 8.5/10. The gameplay is great, fun and enjoyable. Vehicle gameplay is a bit slacking but not bad. The open world provides and endless shooting gallery of Banished and is a welcomed addition. Story is a bit messy, it's alright overall.

    Good gunplay, pretty visuals, interesting characters. AI is very good, haven't experienced this in other shooter/action game. Good job 343, but there's more hard work to do

    The PVP aspect of Halo Infinite hits a perfect blend of balanced guns, over the top physics that tend to impact everything in the world, and that "I've got to play one more match" feeling. The campaign extends on this with a new level of traversal that feels like it should have been in Halo since the very beginning. You cannot go wrong with Halo Infinite.

    I marathon the game as soon as it released. The developers said it was made with normal difficulty in mind, so that was my choice and I just rushed it to see the story and then restart on legendary and obtaining the 100%.

    The first missions are very promising. Actually, the first one encourages you to use the Banished weapons, and you're almost certainly falling in love with the mangler    I marathon the game as soon as it released.     The first missions are very promising. Actually, the first one encourages you to use the Banished weapons, and you're almost certainly falling in love with the mangler feeling on the enmies and the grappling hook (which those who were already engaged with the multiplayer were already loving it). This level gives some Halo CE vibes (traveling a gigantic, oppressive spaceship that starts collapsing) and ends in a glorious escape when everything is exploding, physics do their magic (which was a concern for me as the multiplayer doesn't feature much physically affected props). All of this gave me Halo 3 vibes, which is also good.

    The second mission features a forerunner interior, where you can definitely relive Halo 3's artstyle and some rooms that definitely recall Halo 2. Also, the Banished are all over the place, they've made modifications on it and the level design is also pretty nice.

    Then you go to the open world. Whereas it isn't innovative, it is very engaging as the world is just beautiful, full of objectives and cool stuff to see. A kind of shrine here, rests of a battle there, and you're mostly going crazy with the grappling hook and its physics.

    But the story and main quests take a big hit.

    I don't see a problem with only featuring a biome. I don't see a a problem with only featuring Banished and forerunner interiors. It could be OK if the level design kept the creativity and visible effort in the first two levels. But it doesn't. You will find yourself going through almost exact cloned rooms all over again in the same mission. Symetric rooms and areas where the level design efforts dissappear. Kilometers of clonic rooms. Hundreds or thousands of enemies in them. Lots of moments of loosing your time to go to another clonic room to get some batteries to open a door. Those levels feel uninspired and generic.

    The artsyle is great and that's pretty much what saves the day. Technologically I see something big here, the day-night system features a full realtime illumination that's being really underappreciated. And it definitely looks beautiful. But then again, it's not all about the environments. You need some variety in the combat. The enemies are cool, have some variety, but there's a obvious lack in more weapons, more vehicles, and more everything.

    About snipers, there's only the human one, and you don't find it around usually. There are lots of classic weapons missing. There are lots of classic vehicles missing. If you arrive expecting a full sequel on Halo 5's events and weapon/vehicle amount, you're gonna be disappointed. It feels anachronic for the Banished to have wiped out the UNSC and the prometheans, and the biggest combat vehicle they have is the wraith. No Halo Wars 2 crazy stuff and sadly no scarabs. The humans are also lacking some classics, like the gauss hog. And Halo 2's SMGs. And Halo 3's Spartan Laser. And Halo 4's electromagnetic cannon. Etc.

    The only logical explanation I can find on this: They just wanted to make this totally feel like a reboot. Like a remake of the "discover the Halo universe" experience Halo CE delivered 20 years ago. And then in a couple years release a sequel campaign that effectively brings back Halo 2's gauss hog, covenant carbine, maybe the spectre. Make Infinite's campaigns a remakish experience. The story also feels like a way to make peace with some of not so beloved events happened in Halo 4 and 5, and a prologue for the real menaces to be faced on the next campaigns.

    The core gameplay is just so, so good. The sequels will be noticeably better if they keep Infinite's first campaign quality, but with more vehicles, more enemies and more weapons. I would love upgrades for the AI, but I don't expect much in that front (and honestly, it would be the icing on the cake but it's not exactly necessary). But if they want a really good campaign with levels worth replaying, they really, really need better level designs. Keep the first two missions level design quality as a minimum. I'm remembering now a detail in the first level: Some room which's floor ground was flooded with acid and you have to cross it jumping on the furniture. There's nothing like that in the game again. It's honestly surprising that there're no platforming areas given how satisfactory is using the grapplehook.

    I'm going around the bush. In conclusion: I hope they keep the good work, improve the level design and add tons of stuff with the next gampaign.

    PS About the multiplayer: It's really good, but it needs more content ASAP. It needs netcode fixes. It needs a more rewarding experience and not locking so much behind paywalls. The BattlePass only gives a fraction of Reach's original armory, no possibility to get the next battlepass for free.    … Expand

    I played the game and it was pretty good, the game play is fluent, I personally liked the story. The enemy AI and boss fight is engaging and sweating (I am playing on legendary). But I hardly can say the game is without flaws. first of all, some parts of the game just feels too easy, I am playing legendary, and some parts are like is this it??? There were just too little enemies. The Elites AI was great they move very fast and they engage you when you are hiding, but the brutes and always just stand there waiting to be headshoted. The level and the open world seems a little empty some times, I loved the the views but it's a game, I am not here just to look at scenery alone.

    Anyway, this is a good game and I liked it, though could be better and 343 should make the game better since this is a live service game. I don't make these reviews often, I just can take people who are here giving 0s and 10s based only on their emotions, emotions are good, but review are for people to read and understand your reasoning why you like it or not, and then they can make decisions, not your emotion garbage can.    … Expand

    My favorite Campaign since the original Trilogy even though I like Reach and 4. Chiefs portrayal has never been better, the weapon is really fun and the pilot too. Play it, enjoy the multiplayer, everything will be better with time even. It’s the best multiplayer I’ve ever played. Also just started the campaign on legendary and I’m having a blast! The boss fights are amazing and Z halo is so gorgeous definitively it is me Goty. The worst part about this game is them monetization of the Spartan customization, with the prices being very high to buy sets of armor in the store.     Best Halo campaign since Halo 2. The Halo really lends itself perfectly to the open world along with a great story and gameplay. Only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I'd like to have seen Desert/Snowy/sea environments.

    Incredible return to form for the franchise, best game in over a decade!! It reintroduces our main man and gives him a new supporting cast who's up to the task of being interesting characters unlike many characters from the previous games

    Easily the best Halo in the last decade. Classic gunplay with modern movement that stays true to its core. Campaign also makes up for the sins of Halo 5. I feel like I’m 13 playing Halo CE all over again.

    A return to form! Reminds me of Halo 3 more than I'd have ever imagined. It really is a blend between the best of Halo. It could do with greater biome diversity, and the multiplayer needs more playlists. But what this game is now, at launch, is the most fun I've had in a shooter in such a long time.

    If the open-world concept had been better utilized and if the writers had added more interesting characters to the story, Infinite could have easily been one of the best Halo games ever. The shootouts are highly entertaining and the open world brings new tactical possibilities. The multiplayer is just as good, being slightly faster than before. [Issue#317]

    Halo is back to its best with Halo Infinite, tight controls, and seriously thirst-quenching gunplay that feels so intuitively satisfying. Traversal has been improved hugely by the addition of the grappleshot, allowing Master Chief to zip around at speed, as well as adding a unique element for multiplayer matches. A particular dampener has to be directed at the online multiplayer, which is riddled with cheaters, but, if they were to be removed then the multiplayer offers a solid free-to-play experience that is fast and frantic. Halo Infinite, alongside a number of other Xbox first-party titles is a great addition to Xbox Game Pass, and it is certainly a marquee game that warrants a subscription to the service.

    There’s not much to do in the open world, but thankfully, it doesn’t play a big role either. Infinite mostly sticks to what makes Halo great: first-person action.
