    As a hater of every racing game I would say that forza horizon is doing well and it's surprising good pros including variety of cars , good looking map , smooth and simple gameplay, opportunity for experiencing driving for people who are under 18 ( nice driving simulator). Cons empty

    Forza Horizon 5 is a great game to keep the Forza series alive. The graphics of the game have not been much of a significant improvement but still, it is safe for us to call it the best racing game of 2021

    Can't play the game since pre-release! Dev's have done nothing to improve Graphic problems or the Crashes (Fanatec). Paid 100€ for basically nothing. I Loved that series...

    Appalling bug riddled mess, a ridiculous 90gb update which you have to attempt to install several times over, only for the game to delete itself all together!
    Absolutely shocking that a game can be released in such a broken state with so many issues that make it unplayable.
    Don't buy it! If you have already, demand a refund!

    Why are there about 500 cars in the game, 10% of which can go on dirt and off-road, and 80% of the races (all) are tied to rallies and rallycrosses? If I wanted to play rally I would buy Dirt Ralli 2.0 or Mud runner. It's not cool to drive 60's, 70's, 80's muscle cars in the mud. IT'S DISGUSTING. There is no optimization.     I'm just stunned, first impression seemed like it was just FH4 with a different map, but oh boy was I wrong. All these new custom game modes, the detail in every part of Mexico and the huge selection of super cars and weird&quirky ones made me binge this game. This is my favorite part of the series yet and I hope that the next game will be even better. 10/10

    The most fun i have ever had playing in the horizon series. It almost matches up to the legacy of the first Forza Horizon game that was released in 2012 for the Xbox 360.

    It’s a fun game the main missions are very fun the cars are amazing the sounds are Beautiful but it’s not a game that I could play a long time so that’s why I give it a nine out of 10

    Forza Horizon 5, in my opinion, is just FH3 and FH4 put together. That may sound like a complaint but, trust me, it's not. I love it but it does get a bit boring. It is a fun game and I'd give it a solid 8-9 rating.

    Utter crap, if you want to play a real racing game then Lotus Turbo Challenge on the Amiga is way better. Forza series is one of the worst series of racing games in existence.

    This is an amazing Racing game with amazing graphics in a amazing environment. I enjoyed racing around the open world from the horizon festival to the sandstorm to the oceans to the forests.

    Por lo general los juegos de carrera no me gustan, pero este juego es perfecto en todos los sentidos. La mecánica de conducción en todos los carros es muy buena y retrata muy bien a México y ni hablar de los gráficos, son los mejores que e visto en un videojuego.

    As an xbox player I have to say that I am extremely disappointed. the performance is extremely bad and i had a lot of crashes at the beginning, which reduced a bit over time.

    É um jogo excepcional na sua proposta, a sensação de estar em uma aventura em um jogo de corrida é ótimo. Pra mim o ponto alto do jogo são as história contadas nas expedições elas são sempre bem divertidas todos os personagens são muito carismáticos e vc sempre vai querer saber "qual é a próxima expedição".

Depois de tudo isso nos temos as temporadas que dão cara nova ao jogo ao mudar de estações no ano. Eu particularmente não gosto do formato escolhido de toda semana trocar as estações. Preferiria que o jogador tivesse a opção, depois de tantos pontos vc pode escolher ir para a próxima ou não, e se quiseres entrar no on-line ai sim tivesse as temporadas. Otimo jogo e todo fã de jogo de corrida deveria jogar.    … Expand

Coming as part of game pass, it's also amazing value. I have a couple of reasons why I'm not giving it a ten. 1. Although it takes the best of Forza 4 and iterates, I personallyThis is an excellent game, full of fun things to do. Coming as part of game pass, it's also amazing value. I have a couple of reasons why I'm not giving it a ten. 1. Although it takes the best of Forza 4 and iterates, I personally would have enjoyed an option to get out of the car and explore some of the landscape and local culture on foot. 2. I wish it had focused more on the transition to electric cars. Given the climate crisis, I feel a bit uncomfortable at this celebration of petrol - and think it could have done more to reflect our fast-changing world. Other than than, highly recommended.… Expand

    Forza Horzion 5 is an open world racing game. The game is set in Mexico, but honestly, it barely matters; the game is really just an open world racing thing with some minor Mexican theming. You can tell that this game was made “with the cooperation” of the Mexican tourism board and the car manufacturers, because it is basically a gigantic advertisement for visiting Mexico and buyingForza Horzion 5 is an open world racing game. The game is set in Mexico, but honestly, it barely matters; the game is really just an open world racing thing with some minor Mexican theming. You can tell that this game was made “with the cooperation” of the Mexican tourism board and the car manufacturers, because it is basically a gigantic advertisement for visiting Mexico and buying expensive cars.

    This isn’t a bad thing though, necessarily, as it gives you an excuse to race around in a variety of vehicles across over 125 courses, plus dozens of “story missions”.

    Unfortunately, the game suffers a bit from the fact that it doesn’t really do enough to encourage variety; it is entirely possible to just optimize a couple cars for the various modes and never switch, and while there are achievements for doing so, you can simply ignore them.

    The story, too, is quite weak; not surprising, considering what it is, but still. The main character is a “superstar” who is serving to promote the “Horizon Festival” by winning a bunch of events and otherwise doing various stunts across the landscape of Mexico. Everything is just an excuse for that, but while you and your coworkers are enthusiastic, you never really bond with any of them. The closest point is when you race in “The Vocho”, which belonged to another character’s grandfather, but in the end, there’s no real payoff.

    Sadly, that’s kind of the game’s biggest flaw – there’s lots of “stuff to do” but you’re likely to actually activate most of the most interesting things early on, and the sheer number of races aren’t really super exciting when they lack any real sense of progression. It’s really just a sandbox for racing cars, and while this isn’t a bad thing, it does mean that the game just sort of peters out as you run out of things to do.

    The actual core controls are pretty good, though; it’s an arcade racing game, but not super arcade, and you do actually have to pay attention to what you’re doing. The racetracks are nothing like what Mario Kart 8 provides, but they are reasonable for realistic tracks, and there’s some variety in them.

    Overall, this game is decent but not amazing. It is solid enough at racing and it has a lot of content, but the lack of a strong sense of progression and, for all its spectacle, it’s general shallowness, make it a bit hard to strongly recommend. Still, if you enjoy racing games, it is worth playing.    … Expand

Then, as soon as the game start to add some reason to the mindless countryside destruction with a fully sick radio DJ announcing something like "Buckle up Buckeroos! Start swinging that skill chain, cos this    Forza Horiz-YAWN 5

    It definitely has marginally improved visuals over FH4 and there's some more shrubs and cacti to SMACTUS!, if you're into that kinda nonsensical destruction.

    Then, as soon as the game start to add some reason to the mindless countryside destruction with a fully sick radio DJ announcing something like "Buckle up Buckeroos! Start swinging that skill chain, cos this next song gets you DOUBLE SKILL POINTS! Drop that needle, Elroy!", you're introduced to the Overly-censored Music selection which features several songs having jarring vocal cuts smack-bang in the middle of benign sentences that you have no idea what they're even about (though I guess it's fair they couldn't use the word BAR in that Ladyhawke track in case some religious nut flays their child and then ushers them out the frontdoor to be stoned by the rest of the townspeople).. But I guess they wanted to be able 'name drop' current hit bands and songs for 'street cred' to garner extra interest from the general public? Anyway the result sounds like the cheap CASH GRAB stunt it is with how BUTCHERED THE MUSIC winds up being.

    Another glaring oversight when playing on modern equipment is Incorrect HDR tone-mapping which presents on 10-bit displays with such quality visual effects such as red taillights appearing white at night. Not normally the kind of issue you'd expect on a flagship title of this supposed calibre.

    All-in-all, there's nothing new or original here if you've played Forza Horizon 2... or 3... or 4..
    The night sky does look a bit better in this one I'll admit, but it's still not using 12K photography like the daytime sky has been since FH3.

    TL;DR: Gameplay-wise, it's more of the same. Visually, some obvious improvements, yet a wonky HDR implementation tarnishes the final image. Audio is objectively worse due to a heavily censored track selection - I'm sure NOBODY enjoys huge sections of silence where some catchy lyrics are supposed to be. Why didn't they just choose some kickass electronica and driving rock riffs with minimal vocals that don't need to be removed? Or some vocal-less mixes of the same tracks directly from the studios? The mind boggles..    … Expand

    Awesome visuals and nice driving, with so many cars to collect! For me, one of the best arcade racing games out there....

    No doubt Playground Games have done a great job here, they are one of the best developers in the world. However, Forza is now starting to feel stale. I'm playing on an Xbox Series X and the graphics aren't really all that different from Forza Horizon 3 or 4. I also played it on the older Xbox One X and couldn't tell the difference between the Xbox One X and Xbox Series X versions. And the content feels like I've done it all before because I have done it all before in Forza Horizon 3 and 4. For example the showcase events. You race bikes, planes, trains the same as you did in the last 2 games. They could have at least watched some old episodes of Top Gear and ripped off some of the whacky races out of that because that's exactly where the showcase events took inspiration from in the first place. Because it doesn't look any better than the last 2 games and the races are very similar it basically feels like Forza Horizon 4.5 rather than 5. It's just a new location and a few new cars really. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great racing game and top of the pile when it comes to racing games. You won't find a prettier more well polished racer out there than this. It's just growing stale. I unlocked all the main events and did all the big races within 2 days and then became bored of it.… Expand

    I cannot put my finger on what makes FH5 but I am totally addicted to this game. I loved FH3 and I was unable to get into FH4. FH5 for me feels like a pinnacle of open world racing game.

    A little bit cheesy and casino-like racing game with a perfect open-world Mexico. Expeditions and exploration are fun. The weather effect are cool, sunsets are mesmerizing, collecting cars is fun. The first racing game since NFS Underground that kept my attention long enough to finish it (can we count reaching Hall of Fame as a game completion? :)

    Mes gustan mucho los juegos de carreras como Driver, Crazy Taxy, Gran Turismo, grid, NFS, Forza etc. pero Este FH5 se ve espectacular y se juega mejor que cualquier otro que haya jugado hasta hoy.

    The most beautiful racing game i ever seen, the forest in quality mode are so dense and live, this the first game i can call true next gen, other things like game play and game modes are superb and possibilitie to change for 60 fps is very acceptable option.

    While the vehicles and racing game play is great. The game suffers from some eye rolling inclusion and side characters that are very unlike able.
    You are forced to watch cutscenes with ugly characters and cringe dialogue you cannot skip, in a racing game.

    O melhor jogo de corrida já criado. Acompanho os jogos de corrida desde o Top Gear 1 e Gran Turismo, etc. Desde essa época não me impressionava tanto quanto com esse game. SImplesmente incrível.
    Jogabilidade, gráficos, história... Vale a pena conferir. Nota 10.

    Simply amazing, stunning graphics and fun to play, Playground has once again proven that they are the kings of open world racing games, just like I gave them a 10 for FH2 almost 8 years ago I will do the same for this one, also FH3 and 4 were amazing games but this one just takes the cake as the best of them all.

    I have an insane computer but the slow loading and menu screens are painful.
    Using a Logitech steering wheel and I just cant find settings that even resemble a drivable racing experience.
    Mouse and keyboard is ok.

    Un juego sobresaliente en todos sus aspectos, no se pierde el tiempo en navegar por menus, simolemente salas ahi y corres por Mejico, espectacular en su apartado visual y sonoro, cientos de carreras y eventos de todas las disciplinas, una obra maestra.

This is a lackluster copy paste from FH4, besides the map which is the best map PG has ever created, it is a game that was only good for around 1/6 of the playtime i put into FH3 and 4. They ruined the chill online freeroamingThis game would have been perfectly able to satisfy the core audience as well as the casual players, instead they decided to focus on the casual side of things. They ruined the chill online freeroaming experience which allowed me to share my passion for cars with perfect strangers. Everything revolves around their events which are quite bad. The release was catastrophic and really put this publisher in a new light, they made their priorities clear and i will never trust them again with a d1 purchase. Engine sounds are quite bad, tuning was only marginally improved and the radio was censored in a way that is very uncommon for the western world. Where they trying to please some dictatorship?     Simplesmente o melhor jogo de corrida já feito.
    Com visuais maravilhosos, uma gameplay fluida e uma grande variedade de atrações, FH5 é diversão sem tirar o pé.
