Then the season feature is annoying, For example you wanna do a speed zone but its the fall so your car can't get any grip so you have to do another speed zone or try this one again and again or wait 3 weeks for the season the season to change. The dialogue is very VERY cringey Because this is supposed to be a E for everyone game it has to have no swear words and the songs are like that to they're edited to not include swear words and the story is not gripping and is entirely bland and there are lots of bugs but those will probably get ironed out. Now onto the good things The games graphics look gorgeous, There is lots more customization and the updates add a lot more content. Summary: Buy this game if you like a showcase game (When People come to your house and you wanna show how powerful your xbox is) and as a meh racing game.… Expand

    I love the different places, freedom, cars, and graphics. I also love how there are so many different places to explore like the jungle, volcano, beach, city, and more. Thus, all I can say is thank you so much for creating this beautiful game.

    About the game comparing to FH4: FH4 has way much better music, way way better. FH4 has more esthetic world, I preffer normal trees to bushes which looks awful when you driving.     Os mesmos bugs de conexão do fh4 continuam no fh5, além de outros bugs de desempenho como queda de frame, crash completo do game que eu precisei até reiniciar o pc pois o som do jogo continuou mesmo após fechar, e algumas texturas bugadas bizarras, ta bugadérrimo

    Havent played a driving game in a decade but this is so much fun! This is one of the best games Ive played in a long time. Possible goty contender.
    Positives:
    -The draw distances are amazing. -The performance on the Series X is rock solid. -Fantastic feeling of speed. -Opening is so good.     Come on, one of the biggest mistakes of the game is that it's just to please kids and casual gamers, the amount of racing the game pushes on the player.
    In an hour playing I've played all the tracks and in the hardest mode.

    SOAP PHYSICS, it doesn't seem like the car is fast, it seems like it slides on the ground and it's really bad, especially online, when a player hits me my car flies because of that damn physics, because you don't create a SIMULATION MODE that you can play in control for those who want to take the game seriously, compete.

    It’s not a bad game but for me I preferred the setting of FH4 in the UK and would have liked another location over Mexico. But apart from the graphic improvements and of course the new map the rest of the game feels a bit cut and paste from FH4 with the cars and the options you have in customising them.

    Honestly, I can't in good conscience give this game a higher score. So I'll leave my disclaimer at the top before I explain why my score is so low. The graphics are amazing. Yes. They are. Just like Horizons 2, 3 and 4, the graphics are good. The cars are cool. Just like every other Horizon game (and, some might argue, every racing game, although I will say that Forza does cars just a bitHonestly, I can't in good conscience give this game a higher score. So I'll leave my disclaimer at the top before I explain why my score is so low. The graphics are amazing. Yes. They are. Just like Horizons 2, 3 and 4, the graphics are good. The cars are cool. Just like every other Horizon game (and, some might argue, every racing game, although I will say that Forza does cars just a bit better than other series).

    Beyond the graphics and the cars though, there's really nothing to this game at all. Mexico really doesn't feel like Mexico, the desert areas feel not much different from the Outback in Horizon 3, and the highways feel much the same as every other highway in the Horizon series. The city areas are the only ones that feel more distinct, which is crazy considering that the ancient temples are included in the game but the temple areas honestly feel unfinished. There was so much potential with those areas but they're really wasted. I want to make it clear: I have no issue with the choice of Mexico as a destination. Quite the contrary, in fact, I love it. I just wish they had actually done something unique with it instead of it feeling just the same as the other entries in the series.

    My next and probably biggest issue is with the progression of the game. In just a few hours of very casual play time I had unlocked more than half of the game's content and I was getting bombarded with calls from Rami and Ale about unlocking more content. It's frankly ridiculous and more than a bit overwhelming. At least give me a chance to do half of the content I've already unlocked before dumping more on me please. I'm sure the casual gamers love having everything handed to them but I prefer a challenge. It ruins any and all sense of progression, as there's no difficulty curve whatsoever.

    This also applies to the fact that you can get literally anything you want with ease. Again, in just a few hours of casual play, I already had the most expensive car in the game, and I had enough credits to upgrade any car in my collection all the way without even a second thought. I know that things will be easier for me due to my experience in racing games, but I was playing casually. I didn't even win half the races I entered, and I was driving aimlessly around the map more often than I was entering races. Yet still I was frequently progressing and making money without even trying.

    To be honest, this series has been going downhill from the very start. The first game in the series was the only one to have any sort of storyline at all (and it's still a stretch to call it that), and since then they've done away with any pretense of story entirely. It really begs the question: who is this game made for? Casual gamers? Well, they'd probably love it, but they'd get bored of it after a week like they do with everything else. Car enthusiasts? They have loads of titles to pick from with much more realistic driving, including the other Forza series. Competitive gamers? The online experience certainly does not lend itself well to a competitive environment, and there is absolutely nothing challenging about the offline experience of the game.

    Make no mistake, Forza Horizon 5, as always, is an enjoyable experience with good graphics and cool cars. But, just like other titles in the Horizon series, that is literally all it offers. There is nothing beyond the most basic of necessities.    … Expand

The steering doesn’t vary between cars. The rumble in the controller is so OP that you’ll need to turn it off right away. This time we have gift cars, you can just give a car to somebody. Collection is key with you earning great prizes from having all of a certain car type, but don't fret.     Becomes boring fast unless you are really into car games. I don’t understand the purpose as it’s not a full in racer or a full on simulator. Where is the long term value? Graphics are brilliant but games aren’t just graphics. Voices become irritating fast unless you are used to cheesy hype. Still giving it a 7 as well done but anyone honest will not give a niche game the media hype score

Let’s start with the good, Forza Horizon 5 is a true “next gen” game with wonderful, impressive graphics, a diverse, bright, and lively open-world map, and most of the features that have made Horizon games some of my favorite all-around sim racing games ever. If you liked Horizon 3 or 4, in terms of gameplay, Horizon 5 is likely going to entice you just in terms of look and feel, and that is a good thing.

    While there is no redesigning of the wheel, in a game genre often defined by established brands trying to force innovation only to end up bogging down the basic formula that kept their games entertaining, I’m okay with that. In the areas they did tweak however, most of these changes are generally positive, if still perhaps a bit underwhelming.

    The story mode/single player feels mare more composed the in FH4, with a new progression system (accolades) generally leading to a more cohesive gameplay loop, being used to prominently unlock new showcases, championship races, stories, and the like. The stories, being tied to accolades, feel much more like compelling parts of the main single player experience rather then optional side quests like in FH4, and the addition of expeditions was well executed and a smart decision, offering more narrative structure and fun, if not particularly challenging, little diversions into notable areas within the map. All of this is held up by dialogue which, while perhaps a little bit corny, establishes actual characters within the festival unlike previous entries (mostly FH4) that never really gave any background to the characters you were interacting with.

    However, as much as I am enjoying FH5, an honest review can’t be written without talking about the games issues. To put it simply, this is a game that feels like was intended to be a true showcase of the next gen console’s power both graphically and performance wise, that was hastily ported/modified to run on the last generation as well as PCs due to the supply chain issues making series X and S consoles unavailable for a large number of customers. One has to wonder if it wouldn’t have been smarter for Plaground games to delay the launch until such a point where they can release it solely on the next generation of Xbox, or release it knowing that the unavailability of next gens consoles would have an effect on their sales.

    The current state of the game continues to be full of glitches and large scale problems, included an inability to connect to their servers, many instances of crashing (particularly on PC), among others. A patch was released today, but while it did improve some of the issues, it does remain an uphill battle for the developers to rebuild trust among the fan base.

    For this reason, I cannot rate this game (in its current state) above a 6/10. While I do have confidence that Playground games will be able to work out the kinks and peel back the layers hiding what is, in my opinion, one of the strongest Horizon games yet, the question remains whether they can do so before truly having to deal with a fed up, patient fanbase. In conclusion, I cannot in good faith recommend purchasing Forza Horizon 4 until we see further progress in optimizing the game, though if you do have game pass, it likely worth a download if only to look at the map and see if you can even run it, as many of these glitches are not predictable or universal. Personally, I’ve had very few problems on either my series x or Xbox one S, but I know people whose game has been so unusable they decide to seek a refund rather then keep the game in their library. For me, this game is one that is best treated on a ‘watch and see’ title; it could be fixed in the next month or so and the poor launch will be forgotten, or it could simply become another Fallout 76 or Cyberpunk.    … Expand

    Unpopular opinion. But FH5 is Just a polished new map with FH4 mechanics beneath the surface. While I have played it a lot and completer 95% of what it has to offer. It isn't a GOTY contender imo.

    Techniquement c'est un régale pour la rétine, je prend énormément de plaisir à jouer ce Forza horizon, qui est un digne de successeur du 4, les menus sont relativement similaire mis à part quelques changements cosmétiques dans l'interface , du coup on perd pas ses repères, pour se diriger dans la Map aussi , tout ou presque est similaire au 4, le grand changement dans ce Forza c'est laTechniquement c'est un régale pour la rétine, je prend énormément de plaisir à jouer ce Forza horizon, qui est un digne de successeur du 4, les menus sont relativement similaire mis à part quelques changements cosmétiques dans l'interface , du coup on perd pas ses repères, pour se diriger dans la Map aussi , tout ou presque est similaire au 4, le grand changement dans ce Forza c'est la jouabilité, de meilleurs sensations de conduite et surtout les paysages c'est ce qui se fait plus beau à l'heure actuelle dans l'industrie et je pense que si il sortait pas sur one pour se concentrer uniquement sur la next gen le résultat aurait pû être encore plus bluffant.

    forza has been a sim game for couple of years now and they finally made good. It has some story to it amazing cars very nice graphics [aspecially on XS] and honestly its a very good open world sim.
    GOOD THINGS: amazing open world , good game UI , available on gamepass, working cabrio cars, amazing graphics , avalible on xbox one,
    BAD THINGS: soo many bugs , online not proparly working ,    forza has been a sim game for couple of years now and they finally made good. It has some story to it amazing cars very nice graphics [aspecially on XS] and honestly its a very good open world sim.

    The Multiplayer part is awful, you don't see your teammate on the map or the map is in ghost mode, there is no team marking on the map, so the experience is 0 I buy a need for speed if I want to play solo. It's full of bugs and they're screwed. I do not recommend for sure.

    Bugs bugs and once more - bugs. One update repairs few things and destroys another. It's really hard to believe that FH4 was made by the same studio. So problematic game. Also - UK map was much better. I don't know how anyone could figure it out that Mexico, without any motorization traditions, will be a good place to set the game in. UK & Australia were much more interesting.

    Goated game gameplay wise but the radio stations are not good in this game. More specifically the XS radio station. Ever since it replaced vagrant records radio from FH3, it just hasn't been the same.

    Juego gráficamente excepcional recrean varios escenarios de México de la mejor forma, la jugabilidad no cambia mucho de entregas previas pero si te da muchas mas actividades en el mapa muy entretenida y !un battle royale de carros¡ no pensé que se pudiera implementar en un juego de carros pero esta muy bien logrado.

    I'm playing with the Forza horizon series since the Horizon 3. Sincerely I haven't waited for something new from the Horizon 5, but it has a lot of new activities. Fun to play with.

    Sobre el juego me atrevo a decir que al inicio tenía un montón de fallos los cuales han ido disminuyendo con las actualizaciones, y que sí me molesto un poco pero no para dejarlo.

    Si tienes dudas de si jugarlo o no, te puedo decir que adelante, no te aburriras y pasaras horas de diversion con las carreras y monton de retos por completar.

    Forza Horizon 5 is a brilliant game. Fantastic graphics, great cars and beautiful Mexican scenery. I haven't encountered any bugs or glitches in the game whatsoever. The first forza horizon game I ever owned was FH4. I loved that game but this is a whole new level. I enjoy waking up, booting up my Xbox SX and going on Forza to find someone's gifted me a new set of wheels. Little stuff likeForza Horizon 5 is a brilliant game.
