    This is the best racing game of all time. They took all the best parts of the horizon formula and streamlined it into an amazing gameplay loop.
    Even if you dont like racing, this game is just a blast to play. If you have xbox or pc, try it on gamepass. You will not regret it.

    Has to be the most fun you can have behind the virtual wheel of whatever car you happen to be in. A great evolution from FH4... There's something for everyone here.

    I don't know what some reviewers want from a driving game when they bemoan it's evolved similarity to its predecessors... 1. It's a sandbox driving game, 2. It's a driving game... There's not a huge scope for mixing    Has to be the most fun you can have behind the virtual wheel of whatever car you happen to be in. A great evolution from FH4... There's something for everyone here.

    There's already additional modes, from user creatable parks and challenges to a 'BR' so at least certain YouTubers should be happy.

    Definitely a GoTY contender... surely?

    Anyway at least it's not been getting review bombed (yet!) which is a refreshing change... I still note there's a few salties with an axe to grind (and no prior history of rating Xbox games) making fools of themselves with zero pointers. I do wish MC would sort this type of behaviour as it kinda makes a mockery of the site especially when it's so blatant.

    Oh and as for it being false advertisement about its day and date release date on Gamepass... Well that's just an ignorant or disingenuous take, the game isn't released until the 9th unless you BUY the top tier Premium Edition or the Premium Edition Update which gains early access. This is common industry practice, and was never hidden since the release date was announced.    … Expand

    Well done Playground Games and Xbox Studios for a very fantastic and an extremely well put together driving game, quite entertaining, the best iteration of Forza Horizon by a clear distance. Tried it on both Xbox Series X and 3080 RTX high end PC, gorgeous on both and very smooth. Only frozen once on PC in 10 hours of playing, but not a minus point as a very rare occurrence.

    Without any shadow of doubt, this is the best Driving game. I felt transported back to how I felt the first time I played Outrun in an arcade back in '87 and the first game of Horizon 3 I ever played. 5 builds on what has gone before perfectly. There is so much to do, so much to see. But rarely do games allow you just to explore and be rewarded for it. Mexico is a wonderful setting, whatWithout any shadow of doubt, this is the best Driving game.     I am simply in love with this game.First time i played it my jaw was down on the floor. the graphics are mind blowing. the gameplay is superb. its simply a masterpiece. Playground Games are wizards they made the best game ever. Forza Horizon 5 is the Ultimate Racing game.

    I'm a huge PS game but got Xbox Game Pass for PC for a trial and this game has convinced me to buy an Xbox Series X. Can't wait.

    I cannot put my finger on what makes FH5 but I am totally addicted to this game. I loved FH3 and I was unable to get into FH4. FH5 for me feels like a pinnacle of open world racing game.

    Forza Horzion 5 feels just like FH4 and FH3 however that's far from a bad thing. Not only is it different in landscape, the visuals have been improved immensely especially on the Series X and PC. This game deserves its phase and personally gets a 9/10 from me however the reason it gets a 10/10 is because its the best of its type and it places easily as one of the best car games ever made,Forza Horzion 5 feels just like FH4 and FH3 however that's far from a bad thing.     The most beautiful racing game i ever seen, the forest in quality mode are so dense and live, this the first game i can call true next gen, other things like game play and game modes are superb and possibilitie to change for 60 fps is very acceptable option.

    This only reflects how desperate ponies are this generation, they know xbox is killing it.

    FH5 is another great driving game. Very similar to FH4, but with a few small changes.

    I think some of the menues for seasonal things to do are a bit messy, & confusing, but besides that it seems great.

    Forza Horizon 5 is a ton of fun and looks incredible! I love the setting and the amount of customisable cars in the game is just crazy. Definetly worth the full price or playing it via Game Pass!

    O melhor jogo de corrida já criado. Acompanho os jogos de corrida desde o Top Gear 1 e Gran Turismo, etc. Desde essa época não me impressionava tanto quanto com esse game. SImplesmente incrível.
    Jogabilidade, gráficos, história... Vale a pena conferir. Nota 10.

    Simply amazing, stunning graphics and fun to play, Playground has once again proven that they are the kings of open world racing games, just like I gave them a 10 for FH2 almost 8 years ago I will do the same for this one, also FH3 and 4 were amazing games but this one just takes the cake as the best of them all.

    Fantastic racer by MS! Good job for Xbox studios for putting out quality. Where NFS failed, FH5 makes up. Totally worth a play with friends. I've played racers since 2000 and FH5 is in the top 3 for me. The game is up there with NFS MW 2005 and MC3. It's exceptional in every category and brings the best of open world racing to the 2020s. Congratulations to MS

There are similar aspects (it is a driving game) and as one of the most successful driving games ever, they would be foolish not to use the same blueprint. Mexico is more varied then the UK in its environments and there are some cool set pieces. Sure some of the non-driving interactions are a bit hammy, and I dislike being referred to as "superstar" (I never reached level 200 in FH4) - but you are here for having fun in a driving experience which is as authentic or arcadey as you wish.
    There must be hundreds of hours of gameplay here, along with the weekly events which playground will bring in, and the DLC when it drops. Especially on game pass this is great value for your money.    … Expand

    Este juego es una carta de amor en muchos aspectos, a los amantes de los carros, videojugadores en general, al arte gráfico y a México.
    Es el Forza Horizon mas entretenido y basto hasta la fecha, sin duda un imprescindible para cualquier jugador. No puedo mas que agradecer a Playground Games de algo tan increíblemente hermoso.

    Absolutely fantastic and the best racing game of all time in my opinion. This is a serious contender for Game of the Year depending on how well Halo Infinite does. The small amount of people literally giving it a "0" are obvious Sony fanboys or trolls of other sorts.

    If a racing game can engage me, someone who doesn't give two-****s about cars and just plays rpgs, adventure games and strategy games, then you know the game is good. FH5 is like Mario Odyssey - it's a driving game that appeals to everyone, even non-driver fans just as Mario appeals to everyone, even if they don't typically play platformers. It's a very high quality and well-designed game.

    Definitivamente el mejor juego de carros de la historia hasta el momento, lo sigo jugando en series x después de más de 197 horas, es demasiado divertido de jugar, sumado a que gráficamente es una bestialidad, adicional la ambientación y los paisajes son de fotografía.
    Me saco el sombrero con esta obra maestra que nos dio Playground Games junto con Microsoft.

    It sums everything that makes the horizon series amazing and delivers it improved and truly expanded. New ways to interact with customization, stunning graphics and an improved progression makes for an insanely fun time.
    The amount of combinations in which to build each car, and the new sound files make the experience fantastic, not to mention the level of detail in the game itself.
    It    It sums everything that makes the horizon series amazing and delivers it improved and truly expanded. New ways to interact with customization, stunning graphics and an improved progression makes for an insanely fun time.
    The amount of combinations in which to build each car, and the new sound files make the experience fantastic, not to mention the level of detail in the game itself.
    It is definitely the best racing video game to date, no question.

    It's a shame rocket bunny pulled out of the project, hope it will be added again some time soon along with more body kits.    … Expand

    Game of the Year and racing at the peak.
    Only the Damage model has still air for improvement ( Hardcore Wreckfest player here..) but otherwise
    your in for a ride.

    Incredible game. Simply the best racing game I’ve ever played. This is what Need for Speed used to be. Just pure, non-stop fun. The map is huge and the game is filled with content, the graphics are stunning and even the story elements are interesting. This game can easily be game of the year.

    The graphics are really nice. Looks amazing on Xbox Series X. I'm not a big racing fan, but I actually really enjoy this so far. It's easy to pick up and play, you can make it more challenging if you want. It's very rewarding and you just keep doing one more thing until you've been in the world for hours. I've played this with controller and a Logitech g920 wheel. The controller isThe graphics are really nice. Looks amazing on Xbox Series X.     Near perfect game. I only wish I could play quality mode at 60fps!

    I wonder if the devs have considers that 45fps option that Ratchet & Clank has for 120hz TVs.

    Can’t wait to see what playground do next.

There is a very huge and diverse selection of cars to choose from. Just about every relevant car I can think of has made it into this game.

    I thought fh4 was amazing with gameplay and graphics. But holy this game is amazing both in graphic everything down to the soil looks so real. And the gameplay is so smooth and fun. Well done Microsoft on this one.

    Impresionante en Xbox one X! Desde el inicio se puede apreciar el amor que ha puesto Playground games. Con la boca abierta desde el minuto 1, no quiero imaginar cómo se verá en series X. El mejor Forza Horizon desde el 2, con diferencia. Un homenaje a los videojuegos en general. Brutal!

    I've always wanted a porche gt2rs. Now I can have one. It's a blast, racing and vehicles all have different feels and mods. I love getting into a new car I just got and see how it performs and handles. Overall, ill be coming back to this time and time again when I get tired of my other shooters. Its always a breath of fresh air to pick up this game.

    Don't let people fool you this isn't a ”DLC game” compared to it predecessor. In every aspect better, progression got improved, much better map, sounds are great and the steering wheel support/gameplay is a landslide better compared to previous Horizon iterations. Most fun i've had in a whule. Playground Games always delivers.
