    My first Souls-like / Fromsoftware game and one of the best video game experience I've ever had. This game is fantastic. I've played 150 hours of it (up to NG+2) and never felt bored. It's challenging but rewarding. Beautiful and well paced. Can't wait for the DLC...

    My only regret is that I was playing it while I was waiting for Starfield launch and now I'm in a void... I'm considering    My first Souls-like / Fromsoftware game and one of the best video game experience I've ever had. This game is fantastic. I've played 150 hours of it (up to NG+2) and never felt bored. It's challenging but rewarding. Beautiful and well paced. Can't wait for the DLC...

    My only regret is that I was playing it while I was waiting for Starfield launch and now I'm in a void... I'm considering buying Dark Souls 3 to forget Bethesda's crap, but I fear the difficulty gap. ^^'    … Expand

    The graphics are dated, and would have been considered poor on the previous generation of console hardware. Optimisation and performance is even worse, and suffers from a feeling of frames skipping. I haven't tried on a monitor with VRR but I understand that may improved the experience. In terms of gameplay. Combat will be very familiar to anyone who    Pretty disappointing overall.

    In terms of gameplay. Combat will be very familiar to anyone who has played the Souls games. The open world environment does little to change the overall gameplay arc and experience, and as such fans of the series will be very happy with the amount of content in the game. For me however, it was disappointing that so little has changed from previous games and it falls back on the same pattern learning and repetition as previous titles.

    this game is the closest we will get to a perfect open world souls game, from software really got out of their confort zone and still delivered a true gem, anything bellow an 9 for this game is just plain wrong.

    The game plays as an evolution to From Softwares flagship series, Dark Souls, with an infusion of elements from their more recent breakout hit, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It goes further to add its own unique characteristic’s providing the player with a large and varied toolset allowing for a wide choice of play-styles. It’s more subtle take on quests is impactful and requires actively engaging with games story in a way many games never come close to accomplishing.     Combate excelente, exploração e senso de descoberta sem iguais. Chefes icônicos, lore brilhante, trilha sonora memorável.

    Tudo nesse jogo é incrível.

    I originally gave this game a negative review on Steam as I found that the lack of direction really hurt the games flow. I still hold that sentiment about Elden Ring.
    I don't expect the game to give me a guided tour or arrows on the hud to tell me where exactly where to go, but at times I was wandering into zones I clearly shouldn't be in, undergeared, not high enough level and still on    I originally gave this game a negative review on Steam as I found that the lack of direction really hurt the games flow.     Recently I picked this back up and followed a guide, yes I know what a scrub, but I thought that if I can get a rough guide on what weapons are where, and how I should reasonbly progress, I will then get along with this game. Sure enough, I fell in love.

    Now is this game perfect? No. Is it loyal to it's core audience? Absolutely. If Demon or Dark Souls are something you enjoyed or even love-hated for it's punish factor, you will adore this game.

    The amount of times I just took a minute to appreciate the glorious views is countless, yes even dreary Caelid. Once you get into the swing of things you really can't put the game down, it envelopes you with it's "push on" layout.

    So after clearly with a bit of a guide, I will replay this for sure, might make a meme build or even the Holiest build, Jesus Himself.    … Expand

    The GOTY. Simply, very fun, very challenging and with serious replayability. Without a doubt, one of the best games ever made. Looking foward to play the upcoming DLC. Carian Knights are the best.

    I wanted to give this a 9.5 but felt it was worth the round up.

    Is the game perfect? no. It has minor technical issues. However, the Gameplay is absolutely fantastic. The world is massive, rich and detailed in ways that will have you constantly surprised. I am currently on my second play through and still finding new things constantly. It is a tough game, but don't be afraid to    I wanted to give this a 9.5 but felt it was worth the round up.

Tenho que dizer que desde o início já estava com ótimas espectativas para o jogo, mas ele conseguiu supera-las em todos os aspectos, me obingando a fazer o máximo de coisas que pude na minha run. Levei aproximadamente 100 horas para zerar e platinar, mas acredito que é possível zerar o game em umas 18 horas caso foque apenas nos objetivosO jogo possui uma ótima história e jogabilidade. Tenho que dizer que desde o início já estava com ótimas espectativas para o jogo, mas ele conseguiu supera-las em todos os aspectos, me obingando a fazer o máximo de coisas que pude na minha run.     This game is probably my favorite game of all time, and for good reason. I am a huge fan of Fromsoftware games, and have played every single one. This game lives up to all those previous games legacy, with a fantastic world to explore, marvelous combat, weapon as well as magic variety, and wicked bosses. Plus, all of the new mechanics that this game offers to the souls like    Rating; 9.7

    An absolute masterpiece and i am not a souls-like lover at all. The menus could have be done better and the ai and the balance the enemies is sometime a mess but from an artistic point of view is something unreachable

    Its hilarious to me that in all the 0s and 1s review this game is getting, they can only complain about the graphics being last gen and lack of cutscenes. Nothing screams GIT GUD more than seeing reviews like this. Im glad fromsoft have stuck to their guns and kept the handholding out of their games as is their tradition.

    GOAT Ring is the best FromSoft title and one of the best games I have ever played. Just a pure joy from gameplay and discovering the world and all of it's secrets. Simply beautiful and most importantly fun.

    First off, I love the unforgiving combat system typical of souls-like games. It's a steep learning curve but rewarding when you finally get it down. The visuals are fantastic and at first I enjoyed exploring the open world. In the end, I found the world too open and too repetitive. I can see why some people may love it, but for me I just found it good and not great in the end.

    One of the best Open World Games of all time.
    It's an instant classic and an absolute pleasure to explore.
    From the technical side it's pretty underwhelming though... Performance is honestly terrible and the music isn't as good as DS3 or Bloodborne.

    The world is the best looking in gaming history Really satisfying exploration and the way the dungeons are scattered really encourages exploration
    The main Bosses are just too great And all legacy dungeons are awesome On the other hand ..Reusing bosses a lot was really annoying and prevents me from calling this game the best in history .

    After 156 hours I completed Elden Ring along with about 95% of the character side quests and all optional and main bosses. This game has one of the best worlds to explore I've ever seen in any game I have played; the visuals are spectacular and not one single inch feels wasted. This game is the peak of From Software's design in Dark Souls in giving freedom to the players to play however they want. The fluid combat and the added ability to jump add to the great experience of fighting and exploring in this game. The games story like other soul's games is very obscure but also very rich if you are willing to look for it. The characters are mostly good, but I felt they could have done more with certain ones. Most main game bosses feel and look very cool and are fun to fight. Some people don't like the reuse of enemies throughout the game but overall, I think they did a good job of making them unique to the areas you fight them and the powers they use, making them feel like new enemies. Difficulty wise Elden Ring is probably the 2nd easiest soul's game with Dark Souls 2 being the easiest. With 85 deaths in Elden Ring total, 46 of which were due to Malenia leaving 39 from the rest of the game compared to, 38 deaths in Dark Souls 1, 55 deaths in Dark Souls 3, and 9 deaths in Dark souls 2 (DS2 just felt extremely easy). One problem I had was Malenia and her being able to use her waterfowl dance 5 times in the span of a 2 minutes using it every other attack, if I could change one thing, I would give that move a 60 second cool down after she uses it. Overall, Elden Ring has slight issues with difficulty balancing but they are so small that it doesn't change how amazing this game is.… Expand

    But there's one problem and always from Japanese devs for Xbox ..the optimization is very bad for Series X|S ..yes with vrr the game is smooth but without vrr the game runs between 50-60fps and that not good enough..

I tried both and its the same ..that's why ps5 has faster loading times because the devs forget to use the high speed of XS SSD and used the low speed of Xbox one HDD..
    Update after months:They fix the loading times and the performance increased ..

    Elden Ring is an expansive, jaw-droppingly beautiful game with what is probably the best open world in terms of it's scale, every location looks like its out of a piece of concept art for a fantasy world. You never know what to expect in the world, what abominations await you around ever corner.

    Even better are the Shard Bearer boss battles each in their own region, theme and each with meticulously designed move sets to be just difficult enough to be near impossible at certain levels, but still doable. Exploration is key in this world as it can award you a plethora of unique weapons, magics and summons that can help aid you in these colossal fights with the demi-human giants.

    Gameplay honestly could do with a little tweaking, the lock on system is a little dodgy at times. It isn't bad enough to warrant any kind of negative score for though just a bit of criticism. The starting area is also a little difficult if you aren't familiar with the way the levelling system works. Some items can be scarce at the beginning, but with patience and time you will build up your arsenal slowly and progressively quicker as the game goes on.

    If you are willing to pour dozens of hours into the game you get a fantastic experience, but you have to understand what it is you're getting into, you will die - A LOT - but that gives you the experience you need to progress further into the game. Don't give up, keep trying or come back to that area at a later time with better gear and a new strategy.

    10/10 one of the best games you can play if you love giant boss battles and beautiful open worlds.    … Expand

    This game had it all. This is literally the dark souls version of breath of the wild. Bosses and all enemies are very well designed. Open world is a masterpiece and there is literally something to do everywhere. The variety of weapons, spells and items to use was very impressive and it kept the game addictive and replay-able as there was so many ways to beat and explore the game.

    The user interface and menu navigation are anything but ergonomic, nothing is clearly explained, it is still buggy and poorly optimized more than a year after launch, graphics are mediocre at best, activating ray-tracing makes the frame rate so low that the game becomes unplayable.

El juego tranquilamente podria haber funcionado con un 30% menos de dungeons y hubiera mejorado si se hubiera invertido en generar mas eventos en el mundo abierto (algo de lo que se alardeo en el trailer y solo pasa 2 o 3 veces si no contamos los carros con trols)

    Excesiva inspiración en BOTW al desarrollar tanto escenarios como el gamefeel de atravesar el mundo abierto tomando como base Zelda, olvidando que lo que siempre hizo a Zelda una aventura digna, es avanzar (y en el caso de botw, explorar) gracias a mecanicas constantemente evolutivas que generan no solo un backtracking digno, si no que tambien una sensacion de desarrollo mas alla de mejores armas y mas nivel.
    Obviamente el objetivo de los juegos de fromsoft es siempre la parte mecánica y en elden ring el combate es el foco desde el comienzo hasta el final, pero la contrapartida de utilizar un mundo tan grande con tan poco crecimiento, genera que las futuras playthrough sean exclusivamente a probar el combate de distintas formas, dejando al mapa como una experiencia MUY BUENA, pero que se desgasta luego de la primera exploración.

    Cosas buenas sobran y se saben del juego, pero no esta cerca de ser la culminación de la experiencia de fromsoftware a lo largo de los años como muchos marcan. Tristemente peca de cosas que hacen muchos juegos AAA modernos para preponderar primeras impresiones antes que profundidad.

    El lore me parece el mejor y mas acertado de todos los Souls, con un desarrollo preciso que deja a interpretación la medida exacta al jugador, algo en lo que DS3 fallo con creces.    … Expand

It's hard but in a more frustrating and hollow way than in a fun and practical way.     El mejor juego del estudio FROM SOFTWARE. En mi opinión se alaba la narrativa en exceso (está fragmentada y presentada de forma caótica). El resto impecable, menudo juegazo. Sin darte cuenta puedes llevar 100 horas y no haber hecho ni la mitad. Es un juego redondo.

    Despite some annoying performance issues, Elden Ring is a masterpiece. The combat, enemy variety, exploration, music, and open world are top notch. I’ve been playing it daily across all platforms alongside other games all month, and look forward to doing that all year as I try new builds, help friends, and try to do everything I want in this triumph of a video game.

    Elden Ring rewards your curiosity in many ways, be it items, runes or a pathway to another area, but mostly it’s a story to tell your friends when you are sharing tales around the bonfire. It does not force feed tutorials down your throat, but instead it leans far the opposite way by not telling you much at all and lets you explore and find things out on your own. There is no true quest log, no points of interest on a map or no arrows pointing you in the right direction, so there is a good chance you’ll miss some of the best caves and areas of the game. Because of all of this, Elden Ring is forcing me to find all of that out on my own and it is one of the most rewarding games I have ever played. I will continue to explore the Land Between for many hours to come. I’m just not in a hurry.

    Elden Ring manages to draw the player into a fascinating world for many hours, with refined gameplay that fits perfectly with the freedom granted to the player. A sumptuous but imperfect work, which fails to completely overcome some of the historical flaws of Hidetaka Miyazaki's productions. Flaws that, however, can't diminish the scope of a masterpiece destined to leave an indelible mark on the videogame world and to set new standards for the souls-like and open-world genres.
