    A beautiful and rewarding game. Elevates the soulsborne genre to new dizzying heights. The only game I will likely play for the next year and a half.

Nearly every aspect of the game is great even on old gen expect the graphics and stability,. Oh my god what went so wrong when optimizing the game for the Xbox one? Frames barely manage to hit 40 even on 1080p resolution. This was because the game loads the shaders of an object when the user first sees them instead of loading them during the load screens, meaning the frames take a huge dip. Some times the frames can stoop as low as 10! It took me nearly 40 hours of playtime for the frames to reach a playable rate. The graphics are terrible on least gen( I don't know if that is my TV or not). Also the camera can be quite janky at times. Now for the good side of things, the combat mechanics are killer, there are so many options you can fine tune out to create your own play-style, and fromsoft has created a satisfying gameplay loop. The boss designs are unique and spectacular. The story although hard to figure out is quite amazing. And the music is awesome, the open world( on new-gen) is quite breathtaking and vast . If you are on a PC or on a new gen console I'd recommend this to you, but if you are on last gen then unless you like 35 frames at the beginning of your game don't buy this until 8 months after launch.… Expand

Boss fights are low quality and again a lot of them are copy+paste, I am talking about big story bosses that get shamelessly reused! It shows that FromSoftware didn't have enough time to develop this game properly. The boring empty open world is filled with wannabe pokemon summons called spirit ashe summons, you like collecting pokemons in your souls games? I don't. There is no meaningful reward, the game is too big for its own good, next time provide less quantity and more QUALITY, like previous souls games.… Expand
